Inspired by a well-known architecture notion that load-bearing walls enable maintaining a highly-stable multiple-floored building,superior advantages are afforded via fabricating the NH_(4)+ions pre-intercalated Mo_(2)CT_(x) MXene(Mo_(2)CT_(x)-N)in a mixed solution of NH_(4)F and HCl via a simple one-step hydrothermal *** a result of the synergistic effects of pillared structure,immobilizing-F groups and unlocking Mo-based redox,the Mo_(2)CT_(x)-N remarkably delivered a reversible capacity of 384.6 mAh ^(g-1) at 200 mA g^(-1) after 100 *** work lays a foundation for fully packaging its optimal performance via carding and architecting the chemistry of the MXene layers and between them.

Monolayer tungsten disulfide （WS2）, a typical member of the semiconducting transition metal dichalcogenide family has drawn considerable interest because of its unique properties. Intriguingly the edge of WS2 exhibits an ideal hydrogen binding energy which makes WS2 a potential alternative to Pt-based electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction （HER）. Here, we demonstrate for the first time the successful synthesis of uniform monolayer WS2 nanosheets on centimeter- scale Au foils using a facile, low-pressure chemical vapor deposition method. The edge lengths of the universally observed triangular WS2 nanosheets are tunable from -100 to N1,000 nm. The WS2 nanosheets on Au foils featuring abundant edges were then discovered to be efficient catalysts for the HER, exhibiting a rather high exchange current density of -30.20 μA/cm2 and a small onset potential of Nl10 mV. The effects of coverage and domain size （which correlate closely with the active edge density of WS2） on the electrocatalytic activity were investigated. This work not only provides a novel route toward the batch-production of monolayer WS2 via the introduction of metal foil substrates but also opens up its direct application for facile HER.

The geometry of joints has a significant influence on the mechanical properties of *** simplify the curved joint shapes in rocks,the joint shape is usually treated as straight lines or planes in most laboratory experiments and numerical *** this study,the computerized tomography (CT) scanning and photogrammetry were employed to obtain the internal and surface joint structures of a limestone sample,*** describe the joint geometry,the edge detection algorithms and a three-dimensional (3D) matrix mapping method were applied to reconstruct CT-based and photogrammetry-based jointed rock *** comparison tests,the numerical uniaxial compression tests were conducted on an intact rock sample and a sample with a joint simplified to a plane using the parallel computing *** results indicate that the mechanical characteristics and failure process of jointed rocks are significantly affected by the geometry of *** presence of joints reduces the uniaxial compressive strength (UCS),elastic modulus,and released acoustic emission (AE) energy of rocks by 37%–67%,21%–24%,and 52%–90%,*** to the simplified joint sample,the proposed photogrammetry-based numerical model makes the most of the limited geometry information of *** UCS,accumulative released AE energy,and elastic modulus of the photogrammetry-based sample were found to be very close to those of the CT-based *** UCS value of the simplified joint sample (i.e.38.5 MPa) is much lower than that of the CT-based sample (i.e.72.3 MPa).Additionally,the accumulative released AE energy observed in the simplified joint sample is 3.899 times lower than that observed in the CT-based *** scanning provides a reliable means to visualize the joints in rocks,which can be used to verify the reliability of photogrammetry *** application of the photogrammetry-based sample enables detailed analysis for estimating the mechanical properties of jointed rocks.

The Inner Product Masking(IPM)scheme has been shown to provide higher theoretical security guarantees than the BooleanMasking(BM).This scheme aims to increase the algebraic complexity of the coding to achieve a higher level of *** previous work unfolds when certain(adversarial and implementation)conditions are met,and we seek to complement these investigations by understanding what happens when these conditions deviate from their expected *** this paper,we investigate the security characteristics of IPM under different *** adversarial condition,the security properties of first-order IPMs obtained through parametric characterization are preserved in the face of univariate and bivariate *** implementation condition,we construct two new polynomial leakage functions to observe the nonlinear leakage of the IPM and connect the security order amplification to the nonlinear *** observe that the security of IPMis affected by the degree and the linear component in the leakage *** addition,the comparison experiments from the coefficients,signal-to-noise ratio(SNR)and the public parameter show that the security properties of the IPM are highly implementation-dependent.

According to the official website of China’s National Medicines and Pharmaceutical Administration(NMPA),a total of 87 novel drugs were approved in China in 2023,with targeted drugs accounting for 67.8%of the total,amounting to 59 drugs(Fig.1a;Table 1)[https://***/yaopin/ypjgdt/***].Notably,domestic innovation is flourishing,with five first-in-class drugs,including Glumetinib,a c-Met inhibitor from Haihe Biopharma;Leritrelvir,a 3CL protease inhibitor from Raynovent;Anaprazole,a proton pump inhibitor from Xuanzhu Biopharm;Pegol-Sihematide,an EPO drug from Hansoh Pharma;and Zuberitamab from BioRay Biopharmaceutical Co.,***,the world’s first allosteric inhibitor targeting TYK2,Sotyktu(deucravacitinib),has been approved for the treatment of psoriasis and Selumetinib,a MEK inhibitor co-developed by AstraZeneca and Merck Sharp&Dohme(MSD),became the first approved drug in China for the treatment of neurofibromatosis type I(NF1).Beyond these drugs,the approval of novel drug types such as CAR-T cell products,siRNA,monoclonal antibodies,dual antibodies,and ADCs in China is a significant development in the country’s pharmaceutical industry(Fig.1a).

The energy-intensive Haber-Bosch process currently dominants the production of ammonia (NH3), an indispensable chemical forhumans. For the sustainable development of society, highly efficient and green strategies to convert nitrogen (N2) to NH3 are urgentlyrequired. Electrocatalytic N2 reduction reaction (eNRR) is universally regarded as a promising strategy owing to the mild operatingconditions and renewable energy supply. The key for eNRR is the high-performance catalysts, which activate the inert N-N triple bondand thus decrease the energy barrier. Herein, the recent theoretical and experimental progress on eNRR catalysts at room temperatureand ambient pressure is summarized, aiming to provide a reference for future design of high-performance eNRR catalysts.

This study evaluated the feasibility of using polypropylene fiber(PF)as reinforcement in improving tensile strength behavior of cement-stabilized dredged sediment(CDS).The effects of cement content,water content,PF content and length on the tensile strength and stress–strain behavioral evolutions were evaluated by conducting splitting tensile strength ***,the micro-mechanisms characterizing the tensile strength behavior inside PF-reinforced CDS(CPFDS)were clarified via analyzing macro failure and microstructure *** results indicate that the highest tensile strengths of 7,28,60,and 90 d CPFDS were reached at PF contents of 0.6%,1.0%,1.0%,and 1.0%,exhibiting values 5.96%,65.16%,34.10%,and 35.83%higher than those of CDS,***,3 mm,PF of showed the best reinforcement *** CPFDS exhibited obvious tensile strain-hardening characteristic,and also had better ductility than *** mix factor(C_(C)^(a)/C_(w)^(b))and time parameter(q_(t0)(t))of CDS,and the reinforcement index(k_(t-PF))of CPFDS were used to establish the tensile strength prediction models of CDS and CPFDS,considering multiple *** PF“bridge effect”and associated cementation-reinforcement coupling actions inside CPFDS were mainly responsible for tensile strength behavior *** key findings contribute to the use of CPFDS as recycled engineering soils.

Thermoplastic polycarbonate polyurethanes(PCUs) are multiblock copolymers that have been applied for medical devices for long time. Aliphatic diols are common chain extenders(CE) involved in the composition of the hard segments of PCU. However, limited knowledge was discovered about how the chemical structure of CE affects the hydrogen bonding organization within PCUs and their mechanical *** investigate this problem, a group of PCUs were synthesized respectively by extending the polymer chain with 1,4-butanediol(BDO),aminoethanol(MEA), ethanediol(EO) as three kinds of chain extenders. Tiny differences in the CE chemical structure results in remarkable variations in phase separation, condensed morphologies, thermal and mechanical properties, which are characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectrometer, atomic force microscopy, small-angle X-ray scattering, differential scanning calorimetry, and tensile tests. The microstructural evolution during unilateral deformation and the different mechanism induced by the different CEs was probed and unveil by in situ wide-and small-angle X-ray diffraction. Symmetry of CE can improve the organization of the hydrogen bonding. The coherence strength of the urethane/urea group also plays a key role by comparing the two PCUs with ethanediol and aminoethanol.

Background:Polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS)is a heterogeneous and complex reproductive endocrinological disease that could lead to *** were many attempts to classify PCOS but it remains unclear whether there is a specific subgroup of PCOS that is associated with the best or worst reproductive outcomes of assisted reproductive techniques(ART).Methods:Infertile PCOS patients who underwent their first cycle of in vitro fertilization(IVF)in West China Second University Hospital,Sichuan University from January 2019 to December 2021 were *** clinical and laboratory information of each individual were *** cluster analysis was *** ovarian stimulation parameters and reproductive outcomes were collected and compared between the different clusters of ***:Our analysis clustered women with PCOS into"reproductive","metabolic",and"balanced"clusters based on nine *** group was characterized by high levels of testosterone(T),sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG),follicular stimulation hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH),and anti-Müllerian hormone(AMH).Metabolic group was characterized by high levels of body mass index(BMI),fasting insulin,and fasting *** group was characterized by low levels of the aforementioned reproductive and metabolic parameters,except for *** with PCOS patients in reproductive and balanced clusters,those in metabolic cluster had lower rates of good quality day 3 embryo and blastocyst ***,PCOS patients in the reproductive cluster had greater fresh embryo transfer(ET)cancelation rate and clinical pregnancy rate after fresh ET than metabolic cluster(odds ratio[OR]=3.37,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.77-6.44,and OR=6.19,95%CI:1.58-24.24,respectively).And compared with PCOS of metabolic cluster,PCOS of balanced cluster also had higher chance for fresh ET cancelation(OR=2.83,95%CI:1.26-6.35).Conclusion:Our study suggested that PCOS patients in met
