Room-temperature ferrimagnetism and size-modulated electronic structures in two-dimensional cluster-based metal-organic frameworks

Cluster-assembled materials have attracted particular attention for their complex hierarchical structures and unique properties.However,the majority of cluster-based assemblies developed so far are either non-magnetic or only exhibit magnetic ordering with a relatively low Curie temperature,limiting their applications in spintronics.Thus,two-dimensional(2D)cluster-assembled materials with room-temperature magnetism remain highly desirable.For this purpose,based on first principles calculations,we design a series of thermodynamically stable 2D cluster-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)Fe_(n)-(pyz)(n=1-6)by utilizing Fenmetal clusters as nodes and nitrogen-containing pyrazine ligands as organic linkers.These 2D cluster-based MOFs exhibit robust ferrimagnetic ordering due to the strong d-p direct exchange interaction between d-electron spin of Fe_(n)(n=1-6)clusters and charge transfer-induced p-electron spin of pyrazine ligands.In particular,the ferrimagnetic Curie temperatures are well above room temperature(up to 836 K).Additionally,altering the size of Fe_(n)clusters in Fe_(n)-(pyz)(n=1-6)MOFs results in diverse functional spintronic properties,including bipolar magnetic semiconductors,half semiconductors and Dirac half metals.Moreover,these 2D assembled MOFs possess sizable magnetic anisotropy energies,up to 9.16 me V per formula.

Fewer is more:efficient object detection in large aerial images

Current mainstream object detection methods for large aerial images usually divide large images into patches and then exhaustively detect the objects of interest on all patches,no matter whether there exist objects or not.This paradigm,although effective,is inefficient because the detectors have to go through all patches,severely hindering the inference speed.This paper presents an objectness activation network(OAN) to help detectors focus on fewer patches but achieve more efficient inference and more accurate results,enabling a simple and effective solution to object detection in large images.In brief,OAN is a light fully-convolutional network for judging whether each patch contains objects or not,which can be easily integrated into many object detectors and jointly trained with them end-to-end.We extensively evaluate our OAN with five advanced detectors.Using OAN,all five detectors acquire more than 30.0% speed-up on three large-scale aerial image datasets,meanwhile with consistent accuracy improvements.On extremely large Gaofen-2 images(29200 × 27620 pixels),our OAN improves the detection speed by 70.5%.Moreover,we extend our OAN to driving-scene object detection and 4K video object detection,boosting the detection speed by 112.1% and 75.0%,respectively,without sacrificing the accuracy.

Research on prediction model of formation temperature of ammonium bisulfate in air preheater of coal-fired power plant

Ammonium bisulfate(ABS)is a viscous compound produced by the escape NH_(3) in the NO reduction process and SO_(3) in the flue gas at a certain temperature,which can cause the ash corrosion of the air preheater in coal-fired power plants.Therefore,it is essential to study the formation temperature of ABS to prevent the deposition of ABS in air preheaters.In this paper,the SO_(3) reaction kinetic model is used to analyze the SO_(3) generation process from coal combustion to the selective catalytic reduction(SCR)exit stage,and the kinetic model of NO reduction is used to analyze the NH_(3) escape process.A prediction model for calculating the ABS formation temperature based on the S content in coal and NO reduction parameters of the SCR is proposed,solving the difficulty of measuring SO_(3) concentration and NH_(3) concentration in the previous calculation equation of ABS formation temperature.And the reliability of the model is verified by the actual data of the power plant.Then the influence of S content in coal,NH_(3)/NO_(x) molar ratio,different NO_(x) concentrations at SCR inlet,and NO removal efficiency on the formation temperature of ABS are analyzed.

The effect of Fe_(2)O_(3) on the formation of micro glass beads(MGBs)under air staged combustion was studied.The experimental temperature was 1450℃,and Hegang bituminous coal was used as the experimental object.X⁃ray diffractometer(XRD),ash fusion tester,viscosity formula and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were used to analyze the fly ash.Nano Measurer 1.2 software was used to measure the diameter of MGBs.The results showed that with the increase of Fe_(2)O_(3) in Hegang coal,the glass phase in fly ash first increased and then decreased.When the amount of Fe_(2)O_(3) was 15%,the content of the glass phase was the highest,which was 51.26%.The ash melting point first decreased and then increased,while the viscosity gradually decreased and the particles gradually became spherical.With the increase of Fe_(2)O_(3),the proportion of MGBs with particle size less than 10μm increased gradually.From the above results,it can be concluded that the addition of Fe_(2)O_(3) is conducive to the formation of MGBs and the reduction of particle size.

A review of recent advances in selective catalytic NO_x reduction reactor technologies

Research on NOx treatment is extensive in recent years due to growing environmental awareness. Selec- tive catalytic reduction （SCR） of NOx, as a proven technology, offers higher NOx control efficiency than many other NOx treatment methods. The present work reviews the recent development of SCR reactor technologies. Firstly, catalysts and mechanism of different SCRs were briefly summarized. Different SCR reactors, e.g. structured reactor, fluidized bed reactor and moving bed reactor, were then discussed. As a more advanced technology, multifunctional reactors were also developed for SCR process and could be divided into two categories： decoupled adsorption-reaction process and combined SCR system. The mechanism and properties of these processes were discussed in detail. Some recommendations were given for the future work in SCR reactor design. SCR reactor technology for emerging energy processes was also addressed, such as oxyfuel combustion and biofuel conversion processes, which put forward new requirements for SCR technologies and also open new opportunities for advanced design of SCR reactors.

The effect of Fe;O;on the formation of micro glass beads （MGBs） under air staged combustion was studied. The experimental temperature was 1450℃， and Hegang bituminous coal was used as the experimental object. From the above results， it can be concluded that the addition of Fe;O;is conducive to the formation of MGBs and the reduction of particle size.

The TNF receptor superfamily member 25(TNFRSF25)is part of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily and contains a typical death domain.It is also known as DR3,TRAMP,LARD,WSL-1,Apo-3 and TR3,and has a vital role in regulating cell proliferation,differentiation and apoptosis.In this study,a homologue of the TNFRSF25 gene was identified in grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella).It encodes a transmembrane protein with an extracellular domain containing a cysteine-rich domain and an intracellular domain containing a death domain.It is an orthologue of fish TNFRSF1ALs and shares conserved gene synteny with human TNFRSF25.Expression studies showed that CiTNFRSF25 was constitutively expressed in the majority of fish tissues and can be modulated by interleukin 4/13B and infection by F.columnare.To our knowledge,this is the first report describing the existence of a TNFRSF25 homologue in teleost fish.

In mammals,interleukin(IL)-4 and IL-13 are important cytokines involved in the immune response of the host defence against pathogens and play critical roles in the polarization of monocytes/macrophages(MO/Mϕs).However,in teleost fish,the role of IL-4/13 homologues in the polarization of MO/Mϕremains unknown.In this paper,we identified a second isoform of IL-4/13(CiIL-4/13A)from grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella)in addition to the IL-4/13 homologue previously reported and comparatively studied their expression profiles and functions.The two CiIL-4/13 transcripts were constitutively expressed in tissues but displayed distinct expression patterns.Infection with Flavobacterium columnare or grass carp reovirus II(GCRV-Ⅱ)resulted in the alteration of expression levels of both IL-4/13 isoforms.Furthermore,in the primary head kidney cells,the recombinant CiIL-4/13A and B could up-regulate the expression of IL-10,inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS)and M2 macrophage marker gene(KLF4,kruppel like factor 4),whilst down-regulate the expression of IL-1βand M1 macrophage marker gene(MARCO,macrophage receptor with collagenous structure).The results suggest that the CiIL-4/13A and B play similar roles in regulating inflammation and differentiation of MO/Mϕs in grass carp.
