The Coronavirus Disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic has had an adverse impact on the physical and mental health of the public worldwide.In addition to illness in patients with COVID-19,isolated people and the general population have experienced mental health problems due to social distancing policies,mandatory lockdown,and other psychosocial factors,and the prevalence of depression and anxiety significantly increased during the pandemic.The purpose of this review is to elucidate the epidemiology,contributing factors,and pathogenesis of depression and anxiety.during the pandemic.These findings indicate that physicians and psychiatrists should pay more attention to and identify those with a high risk for mental problems,such as females,younger people,unmarried people,and those with a low educational level.In addition,researchers should focus on identifying the neural and neuroimmune mechanisms involved in depression and anxiety,and assess the intestinal microbiome to identify effective biomarkers.We also provide an overview of various intervention methods,including pharmacological treatment,psychological therapy,and physiotherapy,to provide a reference for different populations to guide the development of optimized intervention methods.

Purpose:Tamoxifen(TAM) is most commonly prescribed for patients with hormone-sensitive breast cancer and exerts agonistic/antagonistic effects on estrogen receptors throughout the body.Accumulating evidence reveals that breast cancer patients receiving TAM manifest cognitive dysfunction;however,whether these patients have a global attention deficit or a more selective impairment of specific attentional networks remains unknown.Methods:In the present study,we sought to explore the attentional function of premenopausal women with hormone receptor positive breast cancer treated with TAM using the attention network test(ANT).The subjects included breast cancer patients receiving TAM(TAM,N=43),breast cancer patients not receiving TAM(non-TAM,N=41),and their matched healthy controls(HC,N=46).The subjects completed the ANT and neuropsychological tests,which measure three independent attention networks and prefrontal cortex executive function performance,respectively.Results:Our results indicated that patients in the TAM group had significant deficits in their executive component but not in the alerting or orienting components.Moreover,the patients showed poor prefrontal cortex executive function performance in the neuropsychological tests.Additionally,significant correlations were found in the TAM group between the decreased efficiency of the executive component and the reduced performance of prefrontal cortex executive function on neuropsychological tests.Conclusions:This study demonstrates that the premenopausal women with hormone receptor positive breast cancer treated with TAM have impairment of executive attention network and that this impairment may be due to dysfunctions in the prefrontal lobe.

During 2018–2019,a severe human adenovirus(HAdV)infection outbreak occurred in southern China.Here,we screened 18 respiratory pathogens in 1704 children(≤14 years old)hospitalized with acute respiratory illness in Guangzhou,China,in 2019.In total,151 patients had positive HAdV test results;34.4%(52/151)of them exhibited severe illness.HAdV infection occurred throughout the year,with a peak in summer.The median patient age was 3.0(interquartile range:1.1–5.0)years.Patients with severe HAdV infection exhibited increases in12 clinical indexes(P≤0.019)and decreases in four indexes(P≤0.007),compared with patients exhibiting nonsevere infection.No significant differences were found in age or sex distribution according to HAdV infection severity(P>0.05);however,the distributions of comorbid disease and HAdV co-infection differed according to HAdV infection severity(P0.05);the HAdV-7 isolate exhibited stronger virulence and infectivity,compared with HAdV-3(P<0.001).Overall,comorbid disease,HAdV co-infection,and high virulence and infectivity of HAdV-7 were critical risk factors for severe HAdV infection;these data can facilitate treatment,control,and prevention of HAdV infection.

浙江图书馆藏《万里海防图》是反映清顺治朝江海防御情形的珍稀地图。该图摹绘于清顺治十二年(1655),由表示海防的《万里海防图》,以及位于该图卷首右上方表示江防的三段图注组成。前者摹绘底本为明崇祯九年(1636)陈组绶编绘《皇明职方地图·万里海防图》,后者摹绘底本是位于《皇明职方地图·江防信地营图》图末的三段图注。摹绘者将原本不相关的海防图、图注绘制在一起,从而产生了一个以江防为主、海防为辅的新绘本。这是顺治朝在防御郑成功集团进攻的过程中,为保护长江漕运重地探索江海联防的产物。

A Sensitive and High-Throughput Flow Cytometry-Based Assay for Measuring Antibody Neutralization of Human Adenovirus Type 3

The assessment of neutralization activity is an important step in the evaluation of neutralizing antibodies (NAbs).The traditional methods for measuring the antibody neutralization of human adenovirus type 3 (HAd V-3) are the microneutralization (MN) assay,which has insufficient sensitivity,and the plaque reduction neutralization test (PRNT),which is not suitable for high-throughput screening.Herein,we describe the development of a flow cytometry-based neutralization(FCN) assay for measuring the neutralization of sera,cell culture supernatants,and chimeric antibodies against HAd V-3 on the basis of a recombinant HAd V-3 (r HAd V-3) construct expressing the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP).For flow cytometry-based assays,the optimal cell confluence was determined as 90%,and the virus was titrated using the assay.The established FCN assay follows the percentage law and an optimal MOI of not less than 5 9 10~(-4)was determined by using a purified chimeric antibody.In addition,comparison of the anti-HAd V-3 NAb titers of 72 human serum samples by the MN and FCN assays,showed that both assays correlated strongly with each other.Our FCN assay was an improvement over the MN assay because the observation period was reduced from 3 to 1 days and data analysis could be performed objectively and robotically.Importantly,the newly established FCN assay allows measurement of the neutralization activity of chimeric antibodies expressed in cell culture supernatants.Thus,this sensitive and highthroughput FCN assay is a useful alternative to the MN assay for measuring the antibody neutralization of HAd V-3 and for screening anti-HAd V-3 NAbs in cell culture supernatants.

常绿和落叶树种共存于中国东南部的亚热带森林中。为探究常绿和落叶树种应对亚热带磷限制所采用的碳获取策略,我们选取阳际峰常绿阔叶林中75种共存的木本植物,包括44种常绿树种和31种落叶树种,测定了其叶片的光合和呼吸速率,以及与碳(C)、氮(N)和磷(P)利用效率和再吸收效率的相关性状。落叶树种的光合氮利用效率(PNUE)、单位氮和磷的呼吸速率(R_(d,N)和R_(d,P))均显著高于常绿树种,但光合磷利用效率(PPUE)在二者之间无显著差异。对于任意给定的叶片P,常绿树种的碳利用效率(CUE)高于落叶树种。此外,落叶和常绿植物的氮再吸收效率(NRE)、磷再吸收效率(PRE)和N:P均无显著差异。这些结果表明,常绿树种维持高CUE使其在P限制的亚热带森林中成为优势树种。这些结果对其他生物群落中落叶和常绿物种的养分策略比较具有重要意义,也为未来的气候变化下的亚热带森林的群落动态建模提供了新见解。

Discussing the Oil-Control Effects of the North Latitudinal 38° Belt in Central Part of the Ordos Basin

The Ordos Basin in the western part of the North China Craton is commonly believed to be a multi-controlled oil- bearing basin. It is bounded by the Xing＇an--Mongolian Orogen to the north, the Qingling Orogen to the south, the Lüliang mountain to the east and the Helanshan--Liupanshan mountain belt to the west. The interpretation of geophysical data reveals a latitudinal （38°） fault belt in the centre of the Ordos Basin, which controls the hydrocarbon generation, migration and accumulation in the basin. This study attempts to investigate this belt from outcrops and indicates a structurally controlled system of migration fairway within the fault belt.

Application of Pore Evolution and Fracture Development Coupled Models in the Prediction of Reservoir "Sweet Spots" in Tight Sandstones

The Chang-63 reservoir in the Huaqing area has widely developed tight sandstone ＂thick sand layers, but not reservoirs characterized by rich in oil＂, and it is thus necessary to further study its oil and gas enrichment law. This study builds porosity and fracture development and evolution models in different deposition environments, through core observation, casting thin section, SEM, porosity and permeability analysis, burial history analysis, and ＂four-property-relationships＂ analysis.

Purpose:To investigate the neural mechanisms underlying attention deficits that are related to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in combination with cerebral perfusion changes based on arterial spin labeling(ASL) imaging.Methods:A total of 31 young women with breast cancer who were scheduled to receive neoadjuvant chemotherapy and 34 matched healthy control subjects were included.The patients completed two assessments of the attention network tasks(ANT),neuropsychological background tests,and a three-dimensional pseudocontinuous ASL scan,which were performed before neoadjuvant chemotherapy and within 1 month after completing chemotherapy.Healthy controls underwent a single assessment.Results:After neoadjuvant chemotherapy,the patients exhibited reduced efficiencies of the alerting and executive control attention networks but not the orienting network(p < 0.05) and showed significant increases in cerebral blood flow(CBF) in the left posterior cingulate gyrus,left middle occipital gyrus,bilateral precentral gyrus,inferior parietal gyrus,supramarginal gyrus,angular gyrus,precuneus,cuneus,superior occipital gyrus,calcarine cortex,and temporal gyrus(p < 0.01 corrected) when compared with patients before chemotherapy and healthy controls.A correlation analysis revealed that a decrease in the performance of ANT was significantly correlated with an increase in CBF changes in some brain regions of the patients with breast cancer.Conclusions:The present study represents a significant step toward understanding the potential neoadjuvant chemotherapy-induced changes in attention network and cerebral perfusion activities.The results demonstrated that neoadjuvant chemotherapy influences hemodynamic activity in different brain areas through increasing cerebral perfusion,which reduces the efficiency of attention networks in breast cancer patients.
