Acute myocardial infarction(AMI), characterized by high incidence and mortality rates, poses a significant public health threat. Reperfusion therapy, though the preferred treatment for AMI, often exacerbates cardiac damage, leading to myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury(MI/RI). Consequently, the development of strategies to reduce MI/RI is an urgent priority in cardiovascular therapy. Chinese medicine, recognized for its multi-component, multi-pathway, and multi-target capabilities, provides a novel approach for alleviating MI/RI. A key area of interest is the nuclear factor E2-related factor 2(Nrf2)/heme oxygenase-1(HO-1) pathway. This pathway is instrumental in regulating inflammatory responses, oxidative stress, apoptosis, endoplasmic reticulum stress, and ferroptosis in MI/RI. This paper presents a comprehensive overview of the Nrf2/HO-1 signaling pathway's structure and its influence on MI/RI. Additionally, it reviews the latest research on leveraging Chinese medicine to modulate the Nrf2/HO-1 pathway in MI/RI treatment.

Developing non-noble metal-based electrocatalyst with high catalytic activity is essential for advancing hydrogen energy *** study introduces a hydrothermal method for synthesizing order Ni(OH)_(2) nanosheets,with H_(3)O_(40)PW_(12)(denoted as PW_(12))loaded onto reduced graphene oxide(rGO)coated on nickel foam(referred to as PW_(12)-Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO).This method contrasts with the electrodeposition of Ni(OH)_(2),where PW_(12) is added to the synthetic system to direct the assembly and morphology of the Ni(OH)_(2) through a hydrothermal *** this work,the nickel foam acts dual roles as both the substrate and the source of nickel for the formation of Ni(OH)_(2).The PW_(12)-Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO nanosheets,when successfully prepared and loaded onto the nickel foam(NF),exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity for the hydrogen evolution reaction(heR)in an alkaline electrolyte,achieving a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2) at an overpotential of 69 ***,we endeavored to expand the application of this material towards the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)by preparing PW_(12)-(Fe/Co)Ni(OH)_(2)/rGO through the addition of metal *** nanocomposite displayed outstanding electrocatalytic activity in alkaline electrolytes,with a current density of 10 mA·cm^(-2)at an overpotential of 211 mV,and demonstrated excellent stability over a 50 h period in a 1 M KOH *** results presented in this paper offer an effective strategy for the preparation of polyoxometalate-based inorganic materials with diverse functionalities,applicable to both heR and OER.

Autonomous driving has witnessed rapid advancement;however,ensuring safe and efficient driving in intricate scenarios remains a critical *** particular,traffic roundabouts bring a set of challenges to autonomous driving due to the unpredictable entry and exit of vehicles,susceptibility to traffic flow bottlenecks,and imperfect data in perceiving environmental information,rendering them a vital issue in the practical application of autonomous *** address the traffic challenges,this work focused on complex roundabouts with multi-lane and proposed a Perception EnhancedDeepDeterministic Policy Gradient(PE-DDPG)for AutonomousDriving in the ***,themodel incorporates an enhanced variational autoencoder featuring an integrated spatial attention mechanism alongside the Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient framework,enhancing the vehicle’s capability to comprehend complex roundabout environments and make ***,the PE-DDPG model combines a dynamic path optimization strategy for roundabout scenarios,effectively mitigating traffic bottlenecks and augmenting throughput *** experiments were conducted with the collaborative simulation platform of CARLA and SUMO,and the experimental results show that the proposed PE-DDPG outperforms the baseline methods in terms of the convergence capacity of the training process,the smoothness of driving and the traffic efficiency with diverse traffic flow patterns and penetration rates of autonomous vehicles(AVs).Generally,the proposed PE-DDPGmodel could be employed for autonomous driving in complex scenarios with imperfect data.

Osteoarthritis(OA)treatment commonly depends on nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and opioid ***,the clinical use of opioids is controversial due to their adverse effects and addiction *** study,drawing on 24 randomized controlled trials(RCTs)with a total of 9,586 patients,thoroughly explored the various side effects associated with opioid use in OA *** results provide additional insight into the non-addictive risks of opioids and may assist clinicians in their judicious use,potentially fostering the advancement of safer treatment *** reducing the risks of misuse and addiction,public health and safety can be enhanced.

Polyoxometalate-based nanocomposites with electrocatalytic activity have been applied in hydrogen evolution reactions(heR).Seawater as the main water resource on the earth should be developed as the water electrolysis to prepare high-purity *** this paper,we used two synthesis strategies to prepare the nanocomposite Co_(4)-POM@Co-PGDY(Co_(4)-POM:the Kegging-type microcrystals of K_(10)[Co_(4)(PW_(9)O_(3)4)2]and Co-PGDY:cobalt-porphyrin linked graphdiyne)with excellent activity for ***-PGDY as the porous material is applied not only as the protection of microcrystals towards the metal ion in seawater but also as the co-electrocatalyst of Co_(4)-***_(4)-POM@Co-PGDY exhibits excellent heR performance in seawater electrolytes with low overpotential and high stability at high ***,we have observed a key H_(3)O+intermediate emergence on the surface of nanocomposite during hydrogen evolution process in seawater by Raman synchrotron radiation-based Fourier transform infrared(SR-FTIR).The results in this paper provide an effective strategy for preparing polyoxometalate-based electrocatalysts with high-performance toward hydrogen evolution reaction.

The Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach serves as an essential tool for addressing convex optimization problems with accelerated convergence *** previous studies in this field have primarily concentrated on unconstrained smooth con-vex optimization *** this paper,on the basis of primal-dual dynamical approach,Nesterov accelerated dynamical approach,projection operator and directional gradient,we present two accelerated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches with time scaling to address convex optimization problems with smooth and nonsmooth objective functions subject to linear and set constraints,which consist of a second-order ODE(ordinary differential equation)or differential conclusion system for the primal variables and a first-order ODE for the dual *** satisfying specific conditions for time scaling,we demonstrate that the proposed approaches have a faster conver-gence *** only requires assuming convexity of the objective *** validate the effectiveness of our proposed two accel-erated primal-dual projection neurodynamic approaches through numerical experiments.

On-demand food delivery(OFD)is gaining more and more popularity in modern *** a kernel order assignment manner in OFD scenario,order recommendation directly influences the delivery efficiency of the platform and the delivery experience of *** paper addresses the dynamism of the order recommendation problem and proposes a reinforcement learning solution *** actor-critic network based on long short term memory(LSTM)unit is designed to deal with the order-grabbing conflict between different ***,three rider sequencing rules are accordingly proposed to match different time steps of the LSTM unit with different *** test the performance of the proposed method,extensive experiments are conducted based on real data from Meituan delivery *** results demonstrate that the proposed reinforcement learning based order recommendation method can significantly increase the number of grabbed orders and reduce the number of order-grabbing conflicts,resulting in better delivery efficiency and experience for the platform and riders.

Evaluation of the Oxidation Reactivity and Behavior of Exhaust Soot Particles from Diesel Engines with Different Emission Levels

The aim of this study was to investigate the oxidation reactivity and behavior of exhaust particulate matter(PM)from diesel *** samples from two diesel engines(1K,CY4102)with different emission levels were collected by a thermophoretic system and a quartz *** oxidation reactivity,oxidation behaviors,and physicochemical properties of the PM samples were analyzed using thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM),Fourier-transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR),and Raman *** results showed that there was a great difference in the oxidation reactivity of soot particles emitted by the two different diesel engines.A qualitative analysis of the factors influencing oxidation reactivity showed that the nanostructure,degree of graphitization,and relative concentration of aliphatic C—H functional groups were the most important factors,whereas no significant correlation was found between the primary particle size and activation energy of the diesel *** on the oxidation behavior analysis,the diesel soot particles exhibited both internal and surface oxidation modes during the oxidation *** oxidation was dominant during the initial stage,and as oxidation progressed,the mode gradually changed to internal *** oxidation mode of soot particles from the 1K engine was significantly higher than that of CY4102.
