Viscoacoustic generalized screen propagator in constant-Q model

When seismic waves propagate through the geological formation, there is a significant loss of energy and a decrease in imaging resolution, because of the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. This profoundly impacts seismic wavefield propagation, imaging and interpretation. To accurately image the true structure of subsurface medium, the consensus among geophysicists is to no longer treat subsurface medium as ideal homogeneous medium, but rather to incorporate the viscoacoustic properties of subsurface medium. Based on the generalized screen propagator using conventional acoustic wave equation(acoustic GSP), our developed method introduces viscoacoustic compensation strategy, and derives a one-way wave generalized screen propagator based on time-fractional viscoacoustic wave equation(viscoacoustic GSP). In numerical experiments, we conducted tests on two-dimensional multi-layer model and the Marmousi model. When comparing with the acoustic GSP using the acoustic data, we found that the imaging results of the viscoacoustic GSP using the viscoacoustic data showed a significant attenuation compensation effect, and achieved imaging results for both algorithms were essentially consistent. However, the imaging results of acoustic GSP using viscoacoustic data showed significant attenuation effects, especially for deep subsurface imaging. This indicates that we have proposed an effective method to compensate the attenuated seismic wavefield. Our application on a set of real seismic data demonstrated that the imaging performance of our proposed method in local areas surpassed that of the conventional acoustic GSP. This suggests that our proposed method holds practical value and can more accurately image real subsurface structures while enhancing imaging resolution compared with the conventional acoustic GSP. Filamentous fungi are excellent sources for the production of a group of bioactive small molecules which are often called secondary metabolites(SMs). The advanced genome sequencing technology combined with bioinformatics analysis reveals a large number of unexplored biosynthetic gene clusters(BGCs) in the fungal genomes. To unlock this fungal SM treasure, many approaches including heterologous expression are being developed and efficient cloning of the BGCs is a crucial step to do ***, we present an efficient strategy for the direct cloning of fungal BGCs. This strategy consisted of Splicing by Overlapping Extension(SOE)-PCR and yeast assembly in vivo. By testing 14 BGCs DNA fragments ranging from 7 kb to 52 kb, the average positive rate was over 80%. The maximal insertion size for fungal BGC assembly was 52 kb. Those constructs could be used conveniently for the heterologous expression leading to the discovery of novel natural products. Thus, our results provide an efficient and quick method for the low cost direct cloning of fungal BGCs.

In this editorial,we comment on the article published in the recent issue of the World Journal of *** liver failure(ALF)is a fatal disease that causes uncontrolled massive hepatocyte death and rapid loss of liver *** and pyroptosis,cell death forms that can be initiated or blocked concurrently,can play significant roles in developing inflammation and various ***,their roles in ALF remain *** article discovered the positive feedback between ferroptosis and pyroptosis in the progression of ALF,and revealed that the silent information regulator sirtuin 1(SIRT1)inhibits both pathways through p53,dramatically reducing inflammation and protecting *** suggests the potential use of SIRT1 and its downstream molecules as therapeutics for ***,we will discuss the role of ferroptosis and pyroptosis in ALF and the crosstalk between these cell death ***,we address potential treatments that could alleviate ALF by simultaneously inhibiting both cell death pathways,as well as examples of SIRT1 activators being used as disease treatment strategies,providing new insights into the therapy of ALF.

Potential health risks related to environmental endocrine disruptors(EEDs)have aroused research hotspots at the forefront of water treatment ***,nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide/schwertmannite nanocomposites(N-TiO_(2)/SCH)have been successfully developed as heterogeneous catalysts for the degradation of typical EEDs via photo-Fenton *** to the sustainable Fe(Ⅲ)/Fe(Ⅱ)conversion induced by photoelectrons,as-prepared N-TiO_(2)/SCH nanocomposites exhibit much enhanced efficiency for the degradation of bisphenol A(BPA;ca.100% within 60 min under visible irradiation)in a wide pH range of 3.0-7.8,which is significantly higher than that of the pristine schwertmannite(ca.74.5%)or N-TiO_(2)(ca.10.8%).In this photo-Fenton system,the efficient degradation of BPA is mainly attributed to the oxidation by hydroxyl radical(·OH)and singlet oxygen(^(1)O_(2)).Moreover,the possible catalytic mechanisms and reaction pathway of BPA degradation are systematically investigated based on analytical and photoelectrochemical *** work not only provides a feasible means for the development of novel heterogeneous photo-Fenton catalysts,but also lays a theoretical foundation for the potential application of mineral-based materials in wastewater treatment.

Gravity assistance is a critical factor influencing CO_(2)-Oil mixing and miscible flow during EOR and CO_(2)geological *** on the Navier-Stokes equation,component mass conservation equation,and fluid property-composition relationship,a mathematical model for pore-scale CO_(2) injection in oilsaturated porous media was developed in this *** model can reflect the effects of gravity assistance,component diffusion,fluid density variation,and velocity change on EOR and CO_(2) *** nonhomogeneous porous media,the gravity influence and large density difference help to minimize the velocity difference between the main flow path and the surrounding area,thus improving the oil recovery and CO_(2) *** CO_(2) injection angles and oil-CO_(2) density differences can increase the oil recovery by 22.6% and 4.2%,respectively,and increase CO_(2) storage by 37.9% and 4.7%,*** diffusion facilitates the transportation of the oil components from the low-velocity region to the main flow path,thereby reducing the oil/CO_(2) concentration difference within the porous *** diffusion can increase oil recovery and CO_(2) storage by 5.7% and 6.9%,*** addition,combined with the component diffusion,a low CO_(2) injection rate creates a more uniform spatial distribution of the oil/CO_(2) component,resulting in increases of 9.5% oil recovery and 15.7% CO_(2) storage,*** study provides theoretical support for improving the geological CO_(2) storage and EOR processes.

The function of solid electrolytes and the composition of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)are highly significant for inhibiting the growth of Li ***,we report an in-situ interfacial passivation combined with self-adaptability strategy to reinforce Li_(0.33)La_(0.557)TiO_(3)(LLTO)-based solid-state ***,a functional SEI enriched with LiF/Li_(3)PO_(4) is formed by in-situ electrochemical conversion,which is greatly beneficial to improving interface compatibility and enhancing ion *** the polarized dielectric BaTiO_(3)-polyamic acid(BTO-PAA,BP)film greatly improves the Li-ion transport kinetics and homogenizes the Li *** expected,the resulting electrolyte offers considerable ionic conductivity at room temperature(4.3 x 10~(-4)S cm^(-1))and appreciable electrochemical decomposition voltage(5.23 V)after electrochemical *** Li-LiFePO_(4) batteries,it shows a high specific capacity of 153 mA h g^(-1)at 0.2C after 100 cycles and a long-term durability of 115 mA h g^(-1)at 1.0 C after 800 ***,a stable Li plating/stripping can be achieved for more than 900 h at 0.5 mA cm^(-2).The stabilization mechanisms are elucidated by ex-situ XRD,ex-situ XPS,and ex-situ FTIR techniques,and the corresponding results reveal that the interfacial passivation combined with polarization effect is an effective strategy for improving the electrochemical *** present study provides a deeper insight into the dynamic adjustment of electrode-electrolyte interfacial for solid-state lithium batteries.

Ionic gel(IG)electrolytes are emerging as promising components for the development of next-generation supercapacitors(SCs),offering benefits in terms of safety,cost-effectiveness,and *** ionic conductivity,stability,and mechanical properties of the gel electrolyte are relevant factors to be considered and the key to improving the performance of the ***,the structure–activity relationship between the internal structure of IGs and their SC properties is not fully *** the current study,the intuitive and regular structure–activity relationship between the structure and properties of IGs was revealed via combining computational simulation and *** terms of conductivity,the ionic liquid(IL)([EMIM][TFSI])in the IG has a high self-diffusion coefficient calculated by molecular dynamics simulation(MDS),which is conductive to transfer and then improves the *** radial distribution function of the MDS shows that the larger the g(r)between the particles in the polymer network,the stronger the *** stability,IGs based on[EMIM][TFSI]and[EOMIM][TFSI]ILs have higher density functional theory calculated binding energy,which is reflected in the excellent thermal stability and excellent capacitor cycle *** on the internal pore size distribution and stress-strain characterization of the gel network([ME3MePy][TFSI]and[BMIM][TFSI]as additives),the highly crosslinked aggregate network significantly reduces the internal mesoporous distribution and plays a leading role in improving the mechanical properties of the *** using this strategy,it will be possible to design the ideal structure of the IG and achieve excellent performance.
