Electrochemical energy storage and conversion techniques that exhibit the merits such as high energy density,rapid response kinetics,economical maintenance requirements and expedient installation procedures will hold a pivotal role in the forthcoming energy storage technologies *** recent years,aqueous zinc-ion batteries(AZIBs)have garnered substantial attention as a compelling candidate for large-scale energy storage systems,primarily attributable to their advantageous featu res encompassing cost-effectiveness,environmental sustainability,and robust safety ***,one of the primary factors hindering the further development of AZIBs originates from the challenge of cathode ***,the three mainstream types of mainstream cathode materials,in terms of manganese-based compounds,vanadium-based compounds and Prussian blue analogues,surfer from the dissolution of Mn~(2+),in the low discharge voltage,and the low specific capacity,*** strategies have been developed to compensation the above intrinsic defects for these cathode materials,including the ionic doping,defect engineering,and materials ***,this review first provides a systematic summarization of the zinc storage mechanism in AZIBs,following by the inherent merit and demerit of three kind of cathode materials during zinc storage analyzed from their structure characteristic,and then the recent development of critical strategies towards the intrinsic insufficiency of these cathode *** this review,the methodologies aimed at enhancing the efficacy of manganese-based and vanadium-based compounds are emphasis ***,the article outlines the future prospective directions as well as strategic proposal for cathode materials in AZIBs.

Improving flangeability of multiphase steel by increasing microstructural homogeneity

Multiphase microstructure significantly increases the strength,usually at the expense of flangeability because of lacking microstructure *** further improve the strength-flangeability of multiphase steel,the microstructural homogeneity was advanced by adjusting the hard martensite/austenite(M/A)*** strength-flangeability was measured via uniaxial tensile tests and hole expansion *** microstructures were characterized using a scanning electron microscope equipped with an electron backscatter diffraction detector and a transmission electron *** tests were supplementally used to quantitatively reveal the microstructural homogeneity of the *** show that the adjusted multiphase steel achieves an excellent ultimate tensile strength(~800 MPa)and flangeability(~135%hole expansion ratio).A promising homogeneous multiphase microstructure was obtained by controlling undercooled austenite transformed at about 600℃.This microstructure consists of soft polygonal ferrite,blocky bainitic ferrite,and hard M/A *** volume fraction of M/A islands is around 5%,and the average size is less than l *** nanoindentation analysis indicated that the participation of M/A islands impressively influenced the microstructural *** strain partition and better mechanical compatibility were present in the adjusted multiphase steel since the plasticity initiation started late,which resulted in a positive ***,avoiding M/A islands distributed in the chain along the rolling direction on the matrix hindered the possibility of voids coalescing into cracks and stabilized the flanging performance.

Numerical Simulation of the Mass Movement Process of the 2018 Sedongpu Glacial Debris Flow by Using the Fluid-Solid Coupling Method

In the context of global warming and intensified human activities,glacier instability in plateau regions has increased,and glacier debris flows have become active,which poses a significant threat to the lives and property of people and socioeconomic *** mass movement process of glacier debris flows is extremely complex,so this paper uses the 2018 Sedongpu glacier debris flow event on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as an example and applies a numerical simulation method to invert the whole process of mass *** view of the interaction between phases in the process of motion,we use the fluid-solid coupling method to describe the mass *** granular-flow model and drift-flux model are employed in FLOW3D software to study the mass movement process of glacier debris flows and explore their dynamic *** results indicate that the glacier debris flow lasted for 700 s,and the movement process was roughly divided into four stages,including initiation,scraping,surging and deposition;the depositional characteristics calculated by the fluid-solid coupling model are consistent with the actual survey results and have good reliability;strong erosion occurs during the mass movement,the clear volume amplification effect,and the first wave climbs 17.8 m across the *** fluid-solid coupling method can better simulate glacier debris flows in plateau regions,which is helpful for the study of the mechanism and dynamic characteristics of such disasters.

As the need for energy storage devices escalates,aqueous zincion batteries(ZIBs)have risen as a promising alternative to the widely used Li-ion batteries,offering intrinsic safety,environmental compatibility,and cost advantages,positioning them as attractive energy storage systems for the future[1,2].However,challenges such as dendrite growth on Zn anodes,stemming from uneven electric fields on the surface and active water side reactions,compromise cycling stability and lifespan,posing significant hurdles for the practical application of ZIBs[3,4].To mitigate these issues,strategies like electrolyte optimization,artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layers,and current collector modifications have been proposed[5,6].Nevertheless,most long-cycle experiments are conducted at low current densities and deposition capacities,with high current density and capacity operations typically lasting less than 1000 h[7].

Mn-based zinc ion battery has the advantages of low cost and high performance,which makes it the promising energy storage ***,the poor conductivity and the agglomeration in the synthesis process of manganese-based materials restrict the performance of ***,the Se-doped MnS/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)(Se-MnS/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x))composite material derived from Mn-based metal-organic framework is *** tests show that Se-doped could generate S defects and enhance the electrochemical activity of *** the same time,the introduction of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) substrate is conducive to exposing more sulfur defects and improving the utilization rate of *** the mechanism study,it is found that Se-MnS/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) is transformed into S/Se co-doped Mn3O_(4) at the first charge,which innovatively elucidated the behavior of S/Se during *** the electrochemical performance test,the specific capacity can reach 74.7 mAh·g^(-1) at 5.0 A·g^(-1).In addition,the Zn-Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) membrane electrode is prepared by vacuum filtration as the zinc-poor anode,which is assembled into the rocking chair full battery to avoid dendrite growth and exhibit excellent rate *** addition of Zn2+weakens the electrostatic repulsion between the interlayers of MXene,and the formation of the folded morphology aids the penetration of the *** 1.0 A·g^(-1),the capacity can reach 50.6 mAh·g^(-1).This work is helpful to promote the research and development of the reaction mechanism of manganese based rocking chair batteries.

Clinical phototheranostic agents suffer from low absorption in near-infrared(NIR)region,decreasing singlet oxygen quantum yield(^(1)O_(2)QY)caused by aggregation in water,and low photothermal conversion efficiency(PCE),all of which are factors weakening their phototheranostic ***,we designed and synthesized a donor-acceptor-donor(D-A-D)structured boron-dipyrromethene derivative(B-2TPA)which exhibited NIR absorption and *** being encapsulated in amphiphilic distearoyl phosphoethanolamine polyethyleneglycol 2000(DSPE-PEG-2000),the water-soluble B-2TPA nanoparticles(NPs)had increasing^(1)O_(2)QY(6.7%)due to the intermolecular aggregation-induced decrease in the energy gap between singlet and triplet excited ***,the quenched fluorescence and stable twisted intramolecular charge transfer in aggregates further increased the PCE of B-2TPA NPs to 60.1%.In vitro and in vivo studies confirmed that B-2TPA NPs could be used in NIR fluorescence and photoacoustic imagingguided synergistic photodynamic and photothermal therapy in tumor treatment.

BL02U2 of the Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility is a surface diffraction beamline with a photon flux of 5.5×10^(12) photons/s at 10 keV and a beam size of 160µm×80µm at the sample *** is dedicated to studying surfaces(solid-vacuum,solid-gas)and interfaces(solid-solid,solid-liquid,and liquid-liquid)in nanoscience,condensed matter,and soft matter systems using various surface scattering techniques over an energy range of 4.8-28 keV with transmission and reflection ***,BL02U2 has a high energy resolution,high angular resolution,and low beam divergence,which can provide excellent properties for X-ray diffraction experiments,such as grazing incident X-ray diffraction,X-ray reflectivity,crystal truncation rods,and liquid X-ray *** of in situ environments can also be provided for the samples *** paper describes the setup of the new beamline and its applications in various fields.

Solidification behaviour and hot cracking susceptibility of a novel Ni-based superalloy

A novel Ni-based superalloy GH4151,with a γ′ volume fraction of about 55%and a service temperature capability up to 8oo oC,was *** to the different cooling conditions of various regions during the solidification of ingots,significant cooling rate variations may lead to the occurrence of hot *** scanning laser microscope was utilised to investigate the solidification process and phase precipitation behaviour of the GH4151 under wide range cooling *** characteristics of L→γ transformation were analysed,and the growth rates of at each stage were *** segregation behaviour was predicted using the Scheil equation,and the predicted results match well with the experimental *** sensitivity coefficient for hot cracking was modified,and cracking sensitivity coefficient values for the alloy under different cooling rates were computed,revealing that the alloy is most susceptible to hot cracking at 10℃/min cooling ***,controlling the cooling rate can reduce the possibility of hot cracking in ingot.

Differential bonding behaviors of sodium/potassium-ion storage in sawdust waste carbon derivatives

Sodium-ion batteries(SIBs) and potassium-ion batteries(PIBs) are the most promising alternatives to lithium-ion batteries, and thus have drawn intensive research attention. Porous carbon materials from different precursors have been widely used as anode materials owing to their compatible storage effectiveness of both larger radii sodium and potassium ions. However, the differential bonding behaviors of Na and K ions with porous carbon-based anode are the significant one worth investigating, which could provide a clean picture of alkali ions storage mechanism. Therefore, in this work, we prepare a porous carbon network derived from sawdust(SDC) wastes, to further analyze the differences on sodium and potassium ions storage behaviors in terms of bond-forming process. It is found that, as-prepared SDC anodes could deliver stable sodium and potassium storage capacities, however, there are notable distinctions in terms of electrochemical behaviors and diffusion processes. By virtue of ex-situ XRD and Raman spectroscopy, the phase transition reaction of potassium ions could be well-observed, and the results shows that the multiple intercalated compounds was formed in SDC network during ions insertion, further resulting in slower diffusion kinetics and larger resistance compared to non-bonded process of sodium ions storage. This study provides more insights into the differences between sodium and potassium ions storage, as well as the energy storage mechanism of porous carbon as anodes for secondary batteries.

Inversion of Seabed Geotechnical Properties in the Arctic Chukchi Deep Sea Basin Based on Time Domain Adaptive Search Matching Algorithm

The chirp sub-bottom profiler,for its high resolution,easy accessibility and cost-effectiveness,has been widely used in acoustic *** this paper,the acoustic impedance and grain size compositions were obtained based on the chirp sub-bottom profiler data collected in the Chukchi Plateau area during the 11th Arctic Expedition of *** time-domain adaptive search matching algorithm was used and validated on our established theoretical *** misfit between the inversion result and the theoretical model is less than 0.067%.The grain size was calculated according to the empirical relationship between the acoustic impedance and the grain size of the *** average acoustic impedance of sub-seafloor strata is 2.5026×10^(6) kg(s m^(2))^(-1)and the average grain size(θvalue)of the seafloor surface sediment is 7.1498,indicating the predominant occurrence of very fine silt sediment in the study *** of the inversion results and the laboratory measurements of nearby borehole samples shows that they are in general agreement.
