Mercury(Hg)enrichments in ancient sediments have been used as a proxy of volcanism,especially large igneous province(LIP)***,considering the existence of other potential Hg sources besides volcanoes and the diverse factors(e.g.,organic matters,clay minerals,sulfide minerals and Fe oxides)that can affect Hg sequestration,there are considerable uncertainties to simply regard sedimentary Hg anomalies as signatures of volcanic *** stable isotopes,a promising tool for tracing the origins and transformations of Hg,have been increasingly used for determining the causes of Hg spikes and understanding the geochemical behavior of Hg in the geologic *** date,lots of researches have applied Hg concentrations and Hg isotopes to identify LIP volcanisms linking with significant geological events such as mass extinctions,ocean anoxic events and other environmental perturbations that mainly occurred in the ***,the results in previous studies clearly show that not all Hg enrichments are derived from volcanic inputs,which emphasize the need for more caution in using Hg as a fingerprint of *** a better understanding of Hg isotopes in the future,there will be important implications for Hg isotopes to reconstruct volcanic activities in the rock records and their impacts on biological evolution.

To study the effect of electrolytic concentration,bioactive ceramic films containing Ca and P on the surface of the Ti6Al4V alloy were prepared by micro-arc oxidation(MAO) in aqueous solutions of different ***,micro-morphology,wettability of the films and their corrosion behavior in a Hank's SBF were *** experimental results show that the film is mainly composed of anatase,rutile and amorphous *** an increase in electrolytic concentration,the ratio of rutile in films enlarge and small amounts of calcium phosphate(Ca3(PO4)2) and hydroxyapatite(HA) *** number of micropores in films increases but their dimensions decrease and their porosities increase *** the surface roughness of MAO film increases with concentration,the wettablility of the oxide film improves continually,while micro-hardness increases at first and then *** treatment clearly improves the corrosion resistance of substrates in a Hank's SBF.

Objective:To investigate the effects of exogenousα-linolenic acid(ALA)on in vitro maturation(IVM)and developmental competence of human ***:Experiment 1 examined the effects of ALA at different concentrations(0[control],10,50,100,and 200μmol/L)in the IVM medium on oocyte *** with 50μmol/L ALA significantly accelerated oocyte maturation(P<0.05)and resulted in significantly higher mitochondrial DNA(mtDNA)copy number compared to the ***,50μmol/L ALA was selected for combination with follicular fluid(FF)to investigate oocyte developmental *** of the matured oocyte was analyzed by real-time polymerase chain *** 2 investigated the effects of FF with optimal ALA concentration(Group A:ALA+FF+IVM medium)or without ALA(Group B:FF+IVM medium)on oocyte maturation,fertilization,2 pronuclear cleavage,and embryo and blastocyst ***(MDA)content and superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity were measured for maturation medium from Group A,Group B,and Group C(control group,IVM medium only).Results:Treatment with 50μmol/L ALA obviously accelerated oocyte maturation(P<0.05)and resulted in significantly higher mtDNA copy number(P<0.05)in the matured oocytes compared to the control(0μmol/L ALA).Supplementation of 50μmol/L ALA and FF(Group A)obviously increased the total maturation rate than FF-treated group(Group B)which has higher(P<0.05)total maturation rate than that of Group ***,no significant differences were observed in fertilization,embryo availability,and blastocyst production among Group A,B,and *** with 50μmol/L ALA decreased the level of MDA(P<0.05),but had no effect on the activity of SOD in the IVM ***:Our results suggested that the treatment with 50μmol/L ALA during IVM improves maturation in human *** is also likely to improve embryo availability and blastocyst *** might be associated with the alteration of mtDNA replication(increased mtDNA copy n

Objective To investigate the impact of CYP2C19 gene polymorphism on clopidogrel reactivity and its association with longterm clinical outcome in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).Methods In total,675 patients were *** on the platelet inhibition rate,patients were categorized into two groups:clopidogrel low responsiveness(CLR)and normal clopidogrel responsiveness(NCR).The CLR group was divided into ticagrelor and clopidogrel group based on the antiplatelet drugs used in the follow-up *** were classified into three groups(normal metabolizer,intermediate metabolizer,and poor metabolizer)based on the CYP2C19 *** aimed to evaluate the impact of CYP2C19 gene polymorphism on clopidogrel *** cumulative rates of 12-month all-cause deaths,major adverse cardiovascular events(MACCEs),and bleeding events were *** CLR was observed in 44.4%of the overall *** differences were observed in the platelet inhibition rate of clopidogrel among the three metabolic genotypes(P0.05).Conclusions Low response to clopidogrel in CHD patients is correlated with CYP2C19 gene ***2C19 genotyping combined with platelet reactivity is an independent predictor of 12-months MACCEs in patients with clopidogrel treatment after PCI,which is better than either test alone.

Photoacoustic agents combining photodynamic therapy(PDT) and photothermal therapy(PTT) functions have emerged as potent theranostic agents for combating cancer. The molecular approaches for enhancing the near-infrared(NIR)-absorption and maximizing non-radiative energy transfer are essential for effective photoacoustic imaging(PAI) and therapy applications. In addition, such molecules with high specificity and affinity to cancer cells are urgently needed, which would further decrease the side effect during treatments. In this study, we applied a heavy-atom engineering strategy and introduced p-aminophenol,-thio, and-seleno moieties into NIR heptamethine cyanine(Cy7) skeleton(Cy7-X-NH_(2), X = O, S, Se) to significantly increase photothermal conversion efficiency for PTT and promote intersystem crossing for ***, we designed a series of nitroreductase(NTR)-activated photoacoustic probes(Cy7-X-NO_(2),X = O, S, Se), and target hypoxic tumors with NTR overexpression. Our prostate cancer targeting probe,Cy7-Se-NO_(2)-KUE, exhibited specific tumor photoacoustic signals and effective tumor killing through outstanding synergistic PTT/PDT in vivo. These findings highlighted a versatile strategy for cancer photoacoustic diagnosis and enhanced phototherapy.

DNA methylation is an important epigenetic regulatory mechanism,it regulates gene expression by recruiting proteins involved in gene repression or by inhibiting the binding of transcription factor(s)to *** this study,a novel methyltransferase 2a gene(Zmet2a)was cloned in maize and identiﬁed by polymerase chain reaction-base(PCR-base)using a bioinformatics *** Zmet2a cDNA sequence is 2739 bp long and translates to 912 amino acid *** Zmet2a protein revealed that it contains BAH and CHROMO structural domains,is a non-transmembrane protein that is hydrophilically unstable,and has no signal peptide ***,we veriﬁed the biological roles of Zmet2a using transgenic Arabidopsis overexpressing Zmet2a and Zmet2a-knockout *** Zmet2a Arabidopsis thaliana showed highly signiﬁcant advancement inﬂowering time,and Zmet2a-knockout maize showed advancement inﬂowering time,with signiﬁcant changes in several ***,these report the role of Zmet2a in the regulation ofﬂowering time,which will lay a foundation for revealing the biological function and epigenetic regulation mechanism of Zmet2a in the growth,development andﬂowering of maize.

Efficient and precise photon-number-resolving detectors are essential for optical quantum information *** this,very few detectors have been able to distinguish photon numbers with both high fidelity and a large dynamic range,all while maintaining high speed and high timing *** nanostrip-based detectors excel at counting single photons efficiently and rapidly,but face challenges in balancing dynamic range and ***,we have pioneered the demonstration of 10 true photon-number resolution using a superconducting microstrip detector,with readout fidelity reaching an impressive 98%and 90%for 4-photon and 6-photon events,***,our proposed dual-channel timing setup drastically reduces the amount of data acquisition by 3 orders of magnitude,allowing for real-time photon-number *** then demonstrate the utility of our scheme by implementing a quantum random-number generator based on sampling the parity of a coherent state,which guarantees inherent unbiasedness,robustness against experimental imperfections and environmental noise,as well as invulnerability to *** solution boasts high fidelity,a large dynamic range,and real-time characterization for photon-number resolution and simplicity with respect to device structure,fabrication,and readout,which may provide a promising avenue towards optical quantum information science.
