Lithofacies identification is a crucial work in reservoir characterization and *** vast inter-well area can be supplemented by facies identification of seismic ***,the relationship between lithofacies and seismic information that is affected by many factors is *** learning has received extensive attention in recent years,among which support vector machine(SVM) is a potential method for lithofacies *** classification involves identifying various types of lithofacies and is generally a nonlinear problem,which needs to be solved by means of the kernel ***-kernel learning SVM is one of the main tools for solving the nonlinear problem about ***,it is very difficult to determine the kernel function and the parameters,which is restricted by human ***,its computational efficiency is low.A lithofacies classification method based on local deep multi-kernel learning support vector machine(LDMKL-SVM) that can consider low-dimensional global features and high-dimensional local features is *** method can automatically learn parameters of kernel function and SVM to build a relationship between lithofacies and seismic elastic *** calculation speed will be expedited at no cost with respect to discriminant accuracy for multi-class lithofacies *** the model data test results and the field data application results certify advantages of the *** contribution offers an effective method for lithofacies recognition and reservoir prediction by using SVM.

A hybrid WUDT-NAFnet for simultaneous source data deblending

Simultaneous source technology,which reduces seismic survey time and improves the quality of seismic data by firing more than one source with a narrow time interval,is compromised by the massive blended ***,deblending algorithms have been developed to separate this ***,deep learning(DL)has been proved its great potential in suppressing the *** most popular DL method employs neural network as a filter to attenuate the blended noise in an iterative estimation and subtraction framework(IESF).However,there are still amplitude distortion and blended noise residual problems,especially when dealing with weak signal submerged in strong *** address these problems,we propose a hybrid WUDT-NAFnet,which contains two *** first network is a wavelet based U-shape deblending transformer network(WUDTnet),incorporated into IESF as a robust regularization term to iteratively separate the blended *** second network is a nonlinear activate free network(NAFnet)designed to recover the event amplitude and further suppress the weak noise residual in *** the hybrid network,the blended noise can be separated purposefully and *** using synthetic and field seismic data demonstrate that the WUDTNAFnet outperforms traditional curvelet transform(CT)based method and the deblending transformer(DT)model in terms of ***,for field applications,the data augmentation method of bicubic interpolation is applied to mitigate the feature difference between synthetic and field ***,the trained network exhibits strong signal preservation ability in numerical field example without requiring additional training.

As an important indicator parameter of fluid identification,fluid factor has always been a concern for ***,when predicting Russell fluid factor or effective pore-fluid bulk modulus,it is necessary to introduce a new rock skeleton parameter which is the dry-rock VP/VS ratio squared(DVRS).In the process of fluid factor calculation or inversion,the existing methods take this parameter as a static constant,which has been estimated in advance,and then apply it to the fluid factor calculation and *** fluid identification analysis based on a portion of the Marmousi 2 model and numerical forward modeling test show that,taking the DVRS as a static constant will limit the identification ability of fluid factor and reduce the inversion *** solve the above problems,we proposed a new method to regard the DVRS as a dynamic variable varying with depth and lithology for the first time,then apply it to fluid factor calculation and ***,the exact Zoeppritz equations are rewritten into a new form containing the fluid factor and DVRS of upper and lower ***,the new equations are applied to the four parameters simultaneous inversion based on the generalized nonlinear inversion(GNI)*** testing results on a portion of the Marmousi 2 model and field data show that dynamic DVRS can significantly improve the fluid factor identification ability,effectively suppress *** synthetic and filed data tests also demonstrate that the GNI method based on Bayesian deterministic inversion(BDI)theory can successfully solve the above four parameter simultaneous inversion problem,and taking the dynamic DVRS as a target inversion parameter can effectively improve the inversion accuracy of fluid *** these results completely verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

Nonlinear amplitude versus angle inversion for transversely isotropic media with vertical symmetry axis using new weak anisotropy approximation equations

In VTI media,the conventional inversion methods based on the existing approximation formulas are difficult to accurately estimate the anisotropic parameters of reservoirs,even more so for unconventional reservoirs with strong seismic ***,the above problems can be solved by utilizing the exact reflection coefficients ***,their complicated expression increases the difficulty in calculating the Jacobian matrix when applying them to the Bayesian deterministic ***,the new reduced approximation equations starting from the exact equations are derived here by linearizing the slowness *** relatively simple form and satisfactory calculation accuracy make the reduced equations easy to apply for inversion while ensuring the accuracy of the inversion *** addition,the blockiness constraint,which follows the differentiable Laplace distribution,is added to the prior model to improve contrasts between ***,the concept of GLI and an iterative reweighted least-squares algorithm is combined to solve the objective ***,we obtain the iterative solution expression of the elastic parameters and anisotropy parameters and achieve nonlinear AVA inversion based on the reduced *** test results of synthetic data and field data show that the proposed method can accurately obtain the VTI parameters from prestack AVA seismic data.

Low-amplitude structure recognition method based on non-subsampled contourlet transform

Currently, horizontal well fracturing is indispensable for shale gas development. Due to the variable reservoir formation morphology, the drilling trajectory often deviates from the high-quality reservoir,which increases the risk of fracturing. Accurately recognizing low-amplitude structures plays a crucial role in guiding horizontal wells. However, existing methods have low recognition accuracy, and are difficult to meet actual production demand. In order to improve the drilling encounter rate of high-quality reservoirs, we propose a method for fine recognition of low-amplitude structures based on the non-subsampled contourlet transform(NSCT). Firstly, the seismic structural data are analyzed at multiple scales and directions using the NSCT and decomposed into low-frequency and high-frequency structural components. Then, the signal of each component is reconstructed to eliminate the low-frequency background of the structure, highlight the structure and texture information, and recognize the low-amplitude structure from it. Finally, we combined the drilled horizontal wells to verify the low-amplitude structural recognition results. Taking a study area in the west Sichuan Basin block as an example, we demonstrate the fine identification of low-amplitude structures based on NSCT. By combining the variation characteristics of logging curves, such as organic carbon content(TOC), natural gamma value(GR), etc., the real structure type is verified and determined, and the false structures in the recognition results are checked. The proposed method can provide reliable information on low-amplitude structures for optimizing the trajectory of horizontal wells. Compared with identification methods based on traditional wavelet transform and curvelet transform, NSCT enhances the local features of low-amplitude structures and achieves finer mapping of low-amplitude structures, showing promise for application.

The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical *** taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue ***,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are *** is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well.

The burden of upper motor neuron involvement is correlated with the bilateral limb involvement interval in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis:a retrospective observational study

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a rare neurodegenerative disease characterized by the involvement of both upper and lower motor *** bilateral limb involvement significantly affects patients'daily lives and may lead them to be confined to ***,the effect of upper and lower motor neuron impairment and other risk factors on bilateral limb involvement is *** address this issue,we retrospectively collected data from 586 amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients with limb onset diagnosed at Peking University Third Hospital between January 2020 and May 2022.A univariate analysis revealed no significant differences in the time intervals of spread in different directions between individuals with upper motor neuron-dominant amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and those with classic amyotrophic lateral *** used causal directed acyclic graphs for risk factor determination and Cox proportional hazards models to investigate the association between the duration of bilateral limb involvement and clinical baseline characteristics in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis *** factor analyses revealed that higher upper motor neuron scores(hazard ratio[HR]=1.05,95%confidence interval[CI]=1.01–1.09,P=0.018),onset in the left limb(HR=0.72,95%CI=0.58–0.89,P=0.002),and a horizontal pattern of progression(HR=0.46,95%CI=0.37–0.58,P<0.001)were risk factors for a shorter interval until bilateral limb *** results demonstrated that a greater degree of upper motor neuron involvement might cause contralateral limb involvement to progress more quickly in limb-onset amyotrophic lateral sclerosis *** findings may improve the management of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis patients with limb onset and the prediction of patient prognosis.
