The efficient separation of fission products,such as TcO4-and I-,holds strategic significance for the management of radioactive wastes and environmental *** this study,we propose an ultrafast strategy for scalable preparation of a highly quaternized organic network to facilitate efficient and synchronous separation of iodide and *** network can be prepared within a few minutes at room temperature,using polyethylenimine and 1,2,4,5-tetrakis（bromomethyl）benzene as building *** chlorine replacement,the network,abundantly decorated with quaternary ammonium groups （Cl@QPN）,exhibits an ultrahigh positive charge density of 7.6 mmol/*** enables the rapid and efficient enrichment of target anions through strong electrostatic Coulomb *** a result,Cl@QPN exhibits significantly higher adsorption rate constants of 0.830 g/（mg min） for ReO4-（a nonradioactive surrogate of TcO4-） and 0.677 g/（mg min） for I-compared to other ***,it possesses high adsorption capacities,reaching 1,681 mg/g for ReO4-and 917.4 mg/g for I-.Cl@QPN also demonstrates good selectivity towards target ions and shows efficient adsorption for99TcO4-.Additionally,Cl@QPN exhibits high dynamic processing capacities,handling up to 3,100 and 7,400 kg of simulated streams per kilogram of material for I-and ReO4-,respectively.

An improved semi-empirical relationship for cluster radioactivity half-lives is proposed by introducing an accurate charge radius formula and an analytic expression of the preformation ***,the cluster radioactivity half-lives for the daughter nuclei around ^(208)Pb or its neighbors and the ^(12)C radioactivity half-life of114Ba are calculated within the improved semi-empirical *** is shown that the accuracy of the new relationship is improved significantly compared to its *** addition,the cluster radioactivity half-lives that are experimentally unavailable for the trans-lead and trans-tin nuclei are predicted by the new semi-empirical *** predictions might be useful for searching for the new cluster emitters of the two islands in future experiments.

The subchannel analysis method is one of the most crucial transient safety analysis methods in the thermal design of nuclear reactors. The nonuniformity of circumferential heat transfer is slight in conventional pressurized water reactor (PWR)cores, but it is significant in advanced reactors with wire-wrapped or helical fuel rods. Predicting circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer behavior can be challenging owing to the complex geometry of helical fuel rods. In this study, a general circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer fuel rod (GCNF) model is developed to predict the fuel central temperature and circumferential heat flux and wall temperature. This model incorporates a refined two-dimensional fuel conduction model and circumferential nonuniform shape factor, addressing the dual factors contributing to the circumferential nonuniformity of helical fuel rods. An empirical correlation for the nonuniform shape factor is developed based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) results, and it is implemented to the subchannel code. The newly developed model is applied to a helical fuel annulus and validated by comparing the prediction results with CFD data. The maximum wall temperature predicted by the code is 1.15°C lower than the value calculated through CFD. In terms of the heat flux, the maximum value at the inner corner is22 kW lower than that obtained from the CFD prediction. The accurate prediction of circumferentially nonuniform heat transfer in helical fuel, concerning the surface heat flux and cladding temperature, addresses existing shortcomings in helical fuel subchannel analysis methods. Additionally, the capability to predict the fuel central temperature is essential for the safety analysis to determine whether fuel rods are melting. The generality of the model framework allows it to be used for the prediction of circumferential nonuniform heat transfer behavior in other types of fuel assemblies.

To perform an integral simulation of a pool-type reactor using CFD code,a multi-physics coupled code MPC-LBE for an LBE-cooled reactor was proposed by integrating a point kinetics model and a fuel pin heat transfer model into self-developed CFD *** code verification,a code-to-code comparison was employed to validate the CFD ***,a typical BT transient benchmark on the LBE-cooled XADS reactor was selected for verification in terms of the integral or system *** on the verification results,it was demonstrated that the MPC-LBE coupled code can perform thermal-hydraulics or safety analyses for analysis for processes involved in LBE-cooled pool-type reactors.

Different Mo S_(2)/Au heterostructures can play an important role in tuning the photoluminescence(PL)and optoelectrical properties of monolayer Mo S_(2).Previous studies of PL of Mo S_(2)/Au heterostructures were mainly limited to the PL enhancement by using different Au nanostructures and PL quenching of monolayer Mo S_(2)on flat Au ***,we demonstrate the enhanced excitonic PL emissions of monolayer Mo S_(2)/Au heterostructures on Si/Si O_(2)*** transferring the continuous monolayer Mo S_(2)onto a stepped Au structure consisting of 60-nm and 100-nm Au films,the Mo S_(2)/Au-60 and Mo S_(2)/Au-100 heterostructures exhibit enhanced PL emissions,each with a blue-shifted PL peak in comparison with the Mo S_(2)/Si O_(2).Furthermore,the PL intensity of Mo S_(2)/Au-60 is about twice larger than that of Mo S_(2)/*** different enhanced excitonic PL emissions in Mo S_(2)/Au heterostructures can be attributed to the different charge transfer effects modified by the stepped Au *** work may provide an insight into the excitonic PL and charge transfer effect of Mo S_(2)on Au film and yield novel phenomena in Mo S_(2)/Au heterostructures for further study of PL tuning and optoelectrical properties.

GAMT2 Encodes a Methyltransferase of Gibberellic Acid That is Involved in Seed Maturation and Germination in Arabidopsis

Salicylic acid methyltransferase （SAMT）, benzoic acid methyltransferase （BAMT） and theobromine methyltransferase （TH）（henceforth, SABATH） family proteins belong to a unique class of mehtyltransferase that can methylate small molecular compounds Including indole-3-acidic acid （IAA）, salicylic acid （SA） and jasmonic acid （JA）, in plants. Here we report that the GAMT2 protein, which has 34.2% similarity with IAMT1 in the amino acid sequence, can methylate gibberellic acid （GA）. Biolnformatics analysis suggests that GAMT2 may be able to methylate one molecule larger than SA. GAMT2 is predominantly expressed in the developing seed embryo and endosperm in Arabidopsis. During seed germination, the expression of GAMT2 decreases until the cotyledons expand out of the seed coat. Overexpression of GAMT2 in Arabidopsis resulted in multiple phenotypes, including dwarfism, retarded growth, late flowering, and reduced fertility, which are similar to the phenotypes of GA-deficient mutants. Seed germination assay showed that GAMT2 overexpression in plants was hypersensitive to GA biosynthesis inhibitor （ancymidol） and abscisic acid （ABA） treatments, whereas the GAMT2 null mutant （SALK_075450） was slightly Insensitive to such treatments, suggesting that GAMT2 may methylate GA or ABA. Enzyme activity analysis indicated that GAMT2 was able to methylate GA3 into Methyi-GA3 in vitro, but could not methylate ABA. Microarray analysis on GAMT2 overexpression plants suggested that Methyl-GA may be an Inactive form of GA in Arabidopsis. These data suggest that GAMT2 Is Involved in seed maturation and germination by modulating GA activity.

Understanding hadron structure within the framework of QCD is an extremely challenging problem. Our purpose here is to explain the model-independent consequences of the approximated chiral symmetry of QCD for two famous results concerning the quark structure of the nucleon. We show that both the apparent success of the constituent quark model in reproducing the ratio of proton to neutron magnetic moments and the apparent success of the Foldy term in reproducing the observed charge radius of the neutron are coincidental. That is, a relatively small change of the current quark mass would spoil both results.

Big data with its vast volume and complexity is increasingly concerned, developed and used for all professions and trades. Remote sensing, as one of the sources for big data, is generating earth-observation data and analysis results daily from the platforms of satellites, manned/unmanned aircrafts, and ground-based structures. Agricultural remote sensing is one of the backbone technologies for precision agriculture, which considers within-field variability for site-specific management instead of uniform management as in traditional agriculture. The key of agricultural remote sensing is, with global positioning data and geographic information, to produce spatially-varied data for subsequent precision agricultural operations. Agricultural remote sensing data, as general remote sensing data, have all characteristics of big data. The acquisition, processing, storage, analysis and visualization of agricultural remote sensing big data are critical to the success of precision agriculture. This paper overviews available remote sensing data resources, recent development of technologies for remote sensing big data management, and remote sensing data processing and management for precision agriculture. A five-layer-fifteen- level （FLFL） satellite remote sensing data management structure is described and adapted to create a more appropriate four-layer-twelve-level （FLTL） remote sensing data management structure for management and applications of agricultural remote sensing big data for precision agriculture where the sensors are typically on high-resolution satellites, manned aircrafts, unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based structures. The FLTL structure is the management and application framework of agricultural remote sensing big data for precision agriculture and local farm studies, which outlooks the future coordination of remote sensing big data management and applications at local regional and farm scale.

A roll shape setting model was built for the hot galvanizing and planishing mill. The uniform transversal distributions of the front tension in the exit and the unit pressure were considered as the objective function. At the same time, the quality of the products, the stability of zinc layer, and the homogeneity of spangles were of considerable significance in the planishing process. The model was applied to the roll shape setting of the 1800 cold rolling 3# CGL hot galvanizing and planishing mill of Baosteel Co Ltd. After being planished, the flatness of a strip that was less than 6 I was more than 97%, and the flatness of others were less than 10 I; the pass percentage of the zinc lay- ers reached 100%.

Coke oven gas(COG)is one of the most important by-products in steel industry,and the conversion of COG to value-added products has attracted much attention from both economic and environmental *** this work,we use the chemical looping reforming technology to produce pure H_(2) from COG.A series of La1-xSrxFeO_(3)(x?0,0.2,0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6)perovskite oxides were prepared as oxygen carriers for this *** reduction behaviors of La1-xSrxFeO_(3) perovskite by different reducing gases(H_(2),CO,CH4 and the mixed gases)are investigated to discuss the competition effect of different components in COG for reacting with the oxygen *** results show that reduction temperatures of H_(2) and CO are much lower than that of CH4,and high temperatures(>800℃)are requested for selective oxidation of methane to *** co-existence of CO and H_(2) shows weak effect on the equilibrium of methane conversion at high temperatures,but the oxidation of methane to syngas can inhibit the consumption of CO and H_(2).The doping of suitable amounts of Sr in LaFeO_(3) perovskite(e.g.,La0.5Sr0.5FeO_(3))significantly promotes the activity for selective oxidation of methane to syngas and inhibits the formation of carbon deposition,obtaining both high methane conversion in the COG oxidation step and high hydrogen yield in the water splitting *** La0.5Sr0.5FeO_(3) shows the highest methane conversion(67.82%),hydrogen yield(3.34 mmol g^(-1))and hydrogen purity(99.85%).The hydrogen yield in water splitting step is treble as high as the hydrogen consumption in reduction *** results reveal that chemical looping reforming of COG to produce pure H_(2) is feasible,and an O_(2)-assistant chemical looping reforming process can further improves the redox stability of oxygen carrier.
