The circular electron-positron collider(CEPC)is designed to precisely measure the properties of the Higgs boson,study electroweak interactions at the Z-boson peak,and search for new physics beyond the Standard *** a component of the 4th conceptual CEPC detector,the drift chamber facilitates the measurement of charged *** study implemented a Geant4-based simulation and track reconstruction for the drift *** the simulation,detector construction and response were implemented and added to the CEPC simulation *** development of track reconstruction involves track finding using the combinatorial Kalman filter method and track fitting using the tool of *** the simulated data,the tracking performance was *** results showed that both the reconstruction resolution and tracking efficiency satisfied the requirements of the CEPC experiment.

Co3O4possesses both direct and indirect oxidation effects and is considered as a promising catalyst for the oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural（HMF）.However,the enrichment and activation effects of Co3O4on OH-and HMF are weak,which limits its further *** defect engineering can regulate the electronic structure,optimize the adsorption of intermediates,and improve the catalytic activity by breaking the symmetry of the material,which is rarely involved in the upgrading of *** this work,we prepare Co3O4with metal defects and load the precious metal platinum at the defect sites（PtVco）.The results of in-situ characterizatio ns,electrochemical measurements,and theoretical calculations indicate that the reduction of Co-Co coordination number and the formation of Pt-Co bond induce the decrease of electron filling in the antibonding orbitals of Co *** resulting upward shift of the d-band center of Co combined with the characteristic adsorption of Pt species synergically enhances the enrichment and activation of organic molecules and OH species,thus exhibiting excellent HMF oxidation activity(including a lower onset potential（1.14 V） and 19 times higher current density than pure Co3O4at 1.35 V).In summary,this work explores the adsorption enhancement mechanism of metal defect sites modified by precious metal in detail,provides a new option for improving the HMF oxidation activity of cobalt-based materials,broadens the application field of metal defect based materials,and gives an innovative guidance for the functional utilization of metal defect sites in biomass conversion.

The textured roll and polished roll were applied instead of the ground roll in a 20-high mill to conduct two-pass rolling of 316L stainless steel strip with thickness of 0.027 *** the two-pass rolling with the textured roll and polished roll(TPR),the surface roughness of the strip is dramatically reduced,and the surface topographical anisotropy index is diminished to 30.9%of the initial *** with the strip rolled using the ground roll in both passes(GGR),the elongation of TPR rolled strip is obviously improved,and the mechanical property anisotropy is greatly *** anisotropy index of tensile strength and elongation are 42.58%and 52.59%of that of GGR rolled strip,which is mainly attributed to the significant decrease of the texture intensity of the strip by TPR *** results indicate that TPR process can obtain the stainless steel ultra-thin strip with smooth and uniform surface topography and good mechanical properties.

Purpose Silicon strip detectors are widely applied in space-based cosmic ray experiments and most of the silicon strip detectors deploy an analytical method for its ***,the analytical method simplifies the physical process of propagation of electrons/holes generated inside the silicon detector by particles that pass through the *** order to simulate silicon strip detectors with different configurations comprehensively,the Allpix^(2),an open-source software,is used to study those *** When particle passes through the silicon detector,energy is deposited based on Geant4 simulation,and electron-hole pairs are created due to the deposited *** Allpix^(2)simulation method and the analytical method are both used to calculate or simulate the diffusion and drift processes that electron-hole pairs propagate inside the silicon detector under internal electric field,and the number of electrons/holes accumulated at implanted strips are *** and conclusion The number of electrons/holes accumulated along the implanted strips are compared between the Allpix^(2)simulation method and analytical method for different incident angles and different incident positions,they are found to be in good agreement for proton particles,while there are discrepancies for carbon and silicon *** Allpix^(2)software may be an important tool for the study of response of silicon strip detectors in *** charge resolution of single implanted strip predicted by Allpix^(2)simulation method is about 4.7%for proton,3.8%for carbon and 1.6%for silicon particles for an incident angle of 45◦.

Mercury(Hg)pollution has been a global concern in recent decades,posing a significant threat to entire ecosystems and human health due to its cumulative toxicity,persistence,and transport in the *** intense interaction between mercury and selenium has opened up a new field for studying mercury removal from industrial flue gas *** the advantages of good Hg0 capture performance and lowsecondary pollution of the mineral selenium compounds,the most noteworthy is the relatively low regeneration temperature,allowing adsorbent regeneration with low energy consumption,thus reducing the utilization cost and enabling recovery of mercury *** paper reviews the recent progress of mineral selenium compounds in flue gas mercury removal,introduces in detail the different types ofmineral selenium compounds studied in the field ofmercury removal,reviews the adsorption performance of various mineral selenium compounds adsorbents on mercury and the influence of flue gas components,such as reaction temperature,air velocity,and other factors,and summarizes the adsorption mechanism of different fugitive forms of selenium *** on the current research progress,future studies should focus on the economic performance and the performance of different carriers and sizes of adsorbents for the removal of Hg0 and the correlation between the gas-particle flow characteristics and gas phase mass transfer with the performance of Hg0 removal in practical industrial *** addition,it remains a challenge to distinguish the oxidation and adsorption of Hg0 quantitatively.

Unraveling the precise mineralization age is vital to understand the geodynamic setting and ore-forming mechanism of the sediment-hosted Pb-Zn deposit;this has long been a *** Sichuan-Yunnan-Guizhou(SYG)triangle in the southwestern margin of the Yangtze Block is a globally recognized carbonate-hosted Pb-Zn metallogenic province and also an essential part of the South China low-temperature metallogenic *** region has>30 million tons(Mt)Zn and Pb resources and shows the enrichment of dispersed metals,such as Ga,Ge,Cd,Se,and *** the past 2 decades,abundant data on mineralization ages of Pb-Zn deposits within the SYG triangle have been documented based on various radioisotopic dating methods,resulting in significant progress in understanding the geodynamic background and ore formation of Pb-Zn deposits hosted in sedimentary rocks at SYG *** paper provides a comprehensive summary of the geochronological results and Pb-Sr isotopic data regarding Pb-Zn deposits in the SYG triangle,which identified two distinct Pb-Zn mineralization periods influencing the dynamic processes associated with the expansion and closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean in the western margin of the Yangtze *** predominant phase of Pb-Zn mineralization at SYG triangle spanned from the Middle Triassic to Early Jurassic(226-191 Ma),which was intensely correlated with the large-scale basin fluid transport triggered by the closure of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean and Indosinian *** secondary Pb-Zn mineralization phase occurred during the Late Devonian to Late Carboniferous and was controlled by extensional structures associated with the expansion of the Paleo-Tethys *** investigation is necessary to clarify the occurrence and potential factors involved in the Pb-Zn mineralization events during the Late Devonian to Late Carboniferous.
