Seabed structures and foundations related to deep-sea resource development:A review based on design and research

The deep‐sea ground contains a huge amount of energy and mineral resources,for example,oil,gas,and *** infrastructures such as floating structures,seabed structures,and foundations have been developed to exploit these *** seabed structures and foundations can be mainly classified into three types:subsea production structures,offshore pipelines,and *** study reviewed the development,installation,and operation of these infrastructures,including their structures,design,installation,marine environment loads,and *** this basis,the research gaps and further research directions were explored through this literature ***,different floating structures were briefly analyzed and reviewed to introduce the design requirements of the seabed structures and ***,the subsea production structures,including subsea manifolds and their foundations,were reviewed and ***,the basic characteristics and design methods of deep‐sea pipelines,including subsea pipelines and risers,were analyzed and ***,the installation and bearing capacity of deep‐sea subsea anchors and seabed trench influence on the anchor were *** the review,it was found that marine environment conditions are the key inputs for any offshore structure *** fabrication,installation,and operation of infrastructures should carefully consider the marine loads and geological *** structures have their own mechanical *** fatigue and stability of pipelines mainly depend on the soil‐structure *** selection should consider soil types and possible trench *** focuses and research gaps can provide a helpful guide on further research,installation,and operation of deep‐sea structures and foundations.

单、双侧穿刺经皮椎体后凸成形术治疗老年骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折的疗效比较

目的比较单、双侧穿刺经皮椎体后凸成形术(PKP)治疗老年骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折的疗效。方法将62例行PKP治疗的老年骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折患者按单、双侧穿刺不同分为单侧组(32例)和双侧组(30例)。比较两组骨水泥注入量及渗漏情况、术中X线透视时间、手术时间、术后疼痛VAS评分以及影像学指标。结果患者均获得随访,时间6~13个月。骨水泥注入量、术中X线透视时间、手术时间单侧组均少(短)于双侧组(P0.05)。单侧组3例、双侧组7例发生骨水泥渗漏,但均无临床症状。伤椎前缘高度、伤椎中央高度、Cobb角两组术后均较术前改善(P0.05)。结论单、双侧穿刺PKP治疗老年骨质疏松性椎体压缩骨折均能改善患者疼痛症状、纠正脊柱后凸畸形,恢复伤椎高度,单侧穿刺术中X线透视时间和手术时间更短、骨水泥注入量更少。

Effect of nucleating agents on the electrical properties of cross-linked polyethylene under tensile stress

During the operation of high-voltage cables,external stress and residual stress can affect the aggregated structure of insulating materials and lead to significant deterioration in their electrical *** investigate the evolution characteristics of the electrical properties of cross-linked polyethylene(XLPE)under mechanical stress,this paper ex-plains the relationship between the aggregated structure of XLPE and its electrical properties and proposes a method for improving insulation performance under me-chanical *** results show that metallocene polyethylene used as a nucleating agent can promote crystallisation through heterogeneous nucleation and increase Young's modulus by non-uniform nucleation,increasing crystallinity and reducing interplanar spacing,resulting in more complete crystal forms and reduced damage to the aggregated structure during the tensile *** nucleating agent modification,the XLPE crystallisation becomes more uniform,and interfacial adhesion forces *** weakened interface damage process between the amorphous and crystalline regions under tensile stress effectively inhibits the process of molecular chain polarisation turning and reduces trap *** modified XLPE crystal structure shows a tendency towards densification and enhanced molecular chain interactions,which can reduce the damage to the aggregated structure under tensile stress,while the reduced free volume inside the material and the shortened average free path of carriers can weaken the damage of high-energy electrons to molecular chains,thereby inhibiting the process of electrical tree *** results show that nucleating agents have great potential for maintaining the stable operation of XLPE cables under mechanical stress.

Zinc finger protein rotund deficiency affects development of the thoracic leg in Bombyx mori

The insect limb develops from the imaginal disc or larval leg during metamor- phosis. The molecular mechanisms involved in the development from the larval to the adult leg are poorly understood. Herein, we cloned the full length of a zinc finger gene rotund from Bombyx mori （Bmrn）, which contained a 1419 bp open reading frame, and encoded a 473 amino acid protein. Reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction and Western blot analyses demonstrated that Bmrn was expressed at higher levels in the epidermis than in other tissues tested, and it showed a very high expression level during metamorphosis. Knock-down of Bmrn produced defects in the tarsus and pretarsus, including the fusion and reduction of tarsomeres, and the developmental arrest of pretarsus. Our data showed that Bmrn is involved in the formation of the tarsus and pretarsus, whereas its homologous gene in Drosophila has been shown to affect three tarsal segments （t2-t4）, suggesting that the remodeling of the leg has involved changes in the patterning of gene regulation during evolution.

Cathepsin B protease is required for metamorphism in silkworm, Bombyx moil

Cathepsin B belongs to lysosomal cysteine protease of the papain family. Temporal and spatial expression analysis of cathepsin B of Bombyx mori （BmCtB） was carried out based on Expression Sequence Tags （ESTs） data, oligonucleotide microarray, reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction （RT-PCR） and quantitative real-time PCR. Expression of BmCtB was observed in all of the tissues and stages. Among the 10 tested tissues, the fat body and posterior silk gland are the two most enriched tissues with BmCtB. During Bombyx development, there was an expression fastigium of BmCtB during metamorphosis. RNA interference was used to suppress the expression of cathepsin B during metamorphosis. Significant developmental defective phenotypes were obtained in the RNAi treated group. The dramatically reduced expression of BmCtB was con^rmed by Northern blot and quantitative real-time PCR. These evidences strongly suggest cathepsin B proteinase was predominantly involved in the metabolism process of fat body and the posterior silk gland and was critical for metamorphism and development of silkworm, Bombyx mori.

Identification of MBF2 family genes in Bombyx mori and their expression in different tissues and stages and in response to Bacillus bombysepticus infection and starvation

The Multiprotein bridge factor 2 （MBF2） gene was first identified as a coactivator involved in BmFTZ-F 1-mediated activation of the Fushi tarazu gene. Herein, nine homologous genes of MBF2 gene are identified. Evolutionary analysis showed that this gene family is insect-specific and that the family members are closely related to response to pathogens （REPAT） genes. Tissue distribution analysis revealed that these genes could be expressed in a tissue-specific manner. Developmental profiles analysis showed that the MBF2 gene family members were highly expressed in the different stages. Analysis of the expression patterns of nine MBF2 family genes showed that Bacillus bombysepticus treatment induced the up-regulation of several MBF2 family genes, including MBF2-4, -7, -9, -8. Furthermore, we found the MBF2 family genes were modulated by starvation and the expression of these genes recovered upon re-feeding, except for MBF2-5, -9. These findings suggested roles for these proteins in insect defense against pathogens and nutrient metabolism, which has an important guiding significance for designing pest control strategies.

Global expression profile of silkworm genes from larval to pupal stages： Toward a comprehensive understanding of sexual differences

Sexual dimorphism is a widespread phenomenon in many higher animals. The genes and gene networks that underlie sex differences are poorly understood. Using microarray data we analyzed sex-related differences in the global expression profiles of silkworm genes from larval to pupal stages. Sex-biased genes could be divided into three clusters. Cluster 1 contained 932 genes that showed a female-biased expression trend at first and a male-biased trend afterward. Cluster 2 included 283 male-biased genes. Cluster 3 was comprised of 497 female-biased genes that were expressed during the late pupal stage. Cluster 1 genes were found to be related closely to cuticle proteins, hormones, binding proteins, enzyme regulators, structural proteins, transcription regulators and so on. Several genes in clusters 2 and 3 were associated with spermatogenesis and oogenesis, respectively. The chromosomal distribution of sex-biased genes showed evidence of chromosomal enrichment. In particular a large number of the silkworms＇ male-biased genes are located on the Z chromosome. These results provide new insights into the molecular differences that dictate sexual dimorphism in the silkworm.

应用光电导谱(PC)和光致发光谱(PL)研究了由分子束外延在InP(100)衬底上生长In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As获得的两种异质结外延结构,分别是在InP衬底上生长InAlAs形成的正向异质结样品(样品A:In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As/InP)和InAlAs层继续生长InP形成的上层为反向异质结的双异质结样品(样品B:InP/In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As/InP).PL和PC实验采用光从表面入射激发的测量构型,样品测量温度为77 K.样品A的PC谱显示,在激发光能量大于表面In_(0.52)Al_(0.48)As层的带隙时出现了电导陡降的反常变化,还在916 nm波长处呈现一小的电导峰结构.PL谱对应此波长位置则出现很强的发光峰.样品B则未观察到上述光谱特征,该差异可从两类异质结不同的界面电子结构获得解释.

现有分析方法对火灾下面内约束简支双向板的开裂、变形响应以及面内约束导致抗火性能降低的机理缺乏合理解释,本文应用ABAQUS有限元软件对火灾下面内约束钢筋混凝土简支双向板的温度场和热力耦合场进行了三维实体有限元分析,在实验验证基础上进行参数分析,探究钢筋和混凝土的挠度、应力变化规律和力学响应机理.结果表明:在火灾下,面内约束力削弱了板的倒拱效应与拉力膜效应,导致抗火性能显著降低.单向和双向面内约束、长宽比、荷载比的增大均会缩短板的倒拱效应与拉力膜效应阶段的时间.
