The separation-of-variable(SOV)methods,such as the improved SOV method,the variational SOV method,and the extended SOV method,have been proposed by the present authors and coworkers to obtain the closed-form analytical solutions for free vibration and eigenbuckling of rectangular plates and circular cylindrical *** taking the free vibration of rectangular thin plates as an example,this work presents the theoretical framework of the SOV methods in an instructive way,and the bisection–based solution procedures for a group of nonlinear eigenvalue ***,the explicit equations of nodal lines of the SOV methods are presented,and the relations of nodal line patterns and frequency orders are *** is concluded that the highly accurate SOV methods have the same accuracy for all frequencies,the mode shapes about repeated frequencies can also be precisely captured,and the SOV methods do not have the problem of missing roots as well.

Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths globally,and effective treatments are urgently *** present study aimed to investigate the inhibitory effect of Calculus Bovis(CB)on liver cancer and the underlying *** inhibited M2 tumor-associated macrophage polarization and modulated the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway,thereby suppressing the proliferation of liver cancer *** inhibitory effect on liver cancer growth was confirmed by both in vivo and in vitro experiments(detailed by Huang et al).The present study provides a theoretical basis for the application of CB for the treatment of liver cancer,providing new avenues for liver cancer treatment.

In order to develop and optimize simple and rapid techniques to identify the structural of tanshinones,crude extracts of Salvia miltiorrhiza bung were investigated by liquid chromatography/UV spectrometry with diode-array detection,liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(HPLC/ESI-MS), liquid chromatography/electrospray ionization multi-stage tandem mass spectrometry(HPLC/ESI-MS)and Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry(FT-ICR-MS).The tanshinone constituents of Salvia miltiorrhiza bung were exhaustively investigated by HPLC/PDA/ESI-MS and HPLC/ESI-MS,which allowed the on-line identification of various *** the accurate masses obtained from FT-ICR-MS and the tandem mass spectrometric(MS)data from an ion trap instrument with ESI source in positive ion mode, a series of tanshinones are reported and rationalized,three isomers at m/z 279 and a pair of isomer at m/z 281 were well separated and identified,another peak at m/z 281 but with different elemental composition was also differentiated(see Table 1).

Anion-exchange membrane water electrolyzers(AEMWEs)for green hydrogen production have received intensive attention due to their feasibility of using earth-abundant NiFe-based *** introducing a third metal into NiFe-based catalysts to construct asymmetrical M-NiFe units,the d-orbital and electronic structures can be adj.sted,which is an important strategy to achieve sufficient oxygen evolution reaction(OER)performance in ***,the ternary NiFeM(M:La,Mo)catalysts featured with distinct M-NiFe units and varying d-orbitals are reported in this *** and theoretical calculation results reveal that the doping of La leads to optimized hybridization between d orbital in NiFeM and 2p in oxygen,resulting in enhanced adsorption strength of oxygen intermediates,and reduced rate-determining step energy barrier,which is responsible for the enhanced OER *** critically,the obtained NiFeLa catalyst only requires 1.58 V to reach 1 A cm^(−2) in an anion exchange membrane electrolyzer and demonstrates excellent long-term stability of up to 600 h.

Neuronal growth, extension, branching, and formation of neural networks are markedly influenced by the extracellular matrix—a complex network composed of proteins and carbohydrates secreted by cells. In addition to providing physical support for cells, the extracellular matrix also conveys critical mechanical stiffness cues. During the development of the nervous system, extracellular matrix stiffness plays a central role in guiding neuronal growth, particularly in the context of axonal extension, which is crucial for the formation of neural networks. In neural tissue engineering, manipulation of biomaterial stiffness is a promising strategy to provide a permissive environment for the repair and regeneration of inj.red nervous tissue. Recent research has fine-tuned synthetic biomaterials to fabricate scaffolds that closely replicate the stiffness profiles observed in the nervous system. In this review, we highlight the molecular mechanisms by which extracellular matrix stiffness regulates axonal growth and regeneration. We highlight the progress made in the development of stiffness-tunable biomaterials to emulate in vivo extracellular matrix environments, with an emphasis on their application in neural repair and regeneration, along with a discussion of the current limitations and future prospects. The exploration and optimization of the stiffness-tunable biomaterials has the potential to markedly advance the development of neural tissue engineering.
