A novel method for the spectrophotometric determination of cefradine by using sodium nitroprusside as chromogenic reagent

A novel method is developed for the determination of cefradine by using sodium nitroprusside as chromogenic reagent. The experiment indicates that a russety product is formed by the reaction of cefradine with sodium nitroprusside in basic solution, and the maximum absorption wavelength （λmax） of russety product is 505 rim. And the sensitization of tetradecyl benzyl dimethyl ammonium chloride for the reaction of cefradine with sodium nitroprusside is remarkable, The apparent molar absorption coefficient （5505） is 2.81 × 103 L/mol cm. The linear equation isA = 0.0657 ＋ 0.00804C （μg/mL） in the range of 1.50-55.0μg/mL of cefradine with a correlation coefficient r = 0.9992, and the detection limit is 1.38 p,g/mL. This method has been applied to determine cefradine in capsule and tablet samples.

Terbium can form a ternary complex having a ratio of 1:1:1 with acetylacetone and EDTA. By adding cetyl pyridinium chloride into the above system, a marked enhancement of fluorescence intensity is observed and the ternary complex becomes more stable than before. For analytical application, the derivative spectrofluorimetric method has high sensitivity and the effect of foreign ions is very low. The optimum conditions were obtained. The calibration graph is linear over 5～100μg/mL.

Rare earth chelates of benzoyl urea derivatives were prepared in ethanol and fluorescence spectra of these chelates were studied in detail. A composition of [RE(BU)_3Phen] (NO_3)_3 was obtained. Correlation between chemical properties of ligands, chelates and spectroscopy was discussed. Intramolecular energy transfer in rare earth chelates was explained.

In view of recent environmental concerns,electrochemical water splitting for hydrogen(H2)as one of the important reactions has getting more and more attention in these ***,we synthesized a series of Mo,N,and P co-doped carbons as efficient electrocatalysts to replace the expensive platinum-based *** the final products,the combination of Mo_(2)C nanoparticles(NPs)and N,P co-doped carbons were fabricated using a simple molten salt *** notably,KCl as the template could be recycled and reused via water *** ratios of the precursors could affect the structure of the final production,and therefore further determine the performance of electrocatalytic towards hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).Owing to extensive supplies of active sites and heterogeneous structures that provide transfer channels for electrons,the optimal sample of GUPMo-2.00KCl exhibited the best HER activity among the as-synthesized samples,including low overpotentials,small Tafel slope,and good *** work opens up a novel prospect for the designing of high-performance electrocatalysts.

TiNb_(2)O_(7)has been emerged as one of the most promising electrode materials for high-energy lithium-ion ***,limited by the slow electron/ion transport kinetics,and insufficient active sites in the bulk structure,the TiNb_(2)O_(7)electrode still suffers from unsatisfactory lithium storage ***,we demonstrate a spatially confined strategy toward a novel TiNb_(2)O_(7)-NMC/MXene composite through a triblock copolymer-directed one-pot solvothermal route,where TiNb_(2)O_(7)quantum dots with a particle size of 2-3 nm are evenly embedded into N-doped mesoporous carbon(NMC)and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X)***,the as-prepared TiNb_(2)O_(7)-NMC/MXene anode exhibits a high reversible capacity(486.2 mAh g^(-1)at 0.1 A g^(-1)after 100 cycles)and long cycle lifespan(363.4 mAh g^(-1)at ss1 A g^(-1)after 500 cycles).Both experimental and theorical results further demonstrate that such a superior lithium storage performance is mainly ascribed to the synergistic effect among 0D TiNb_(2)O_(7)quantum dots,2D Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(X)MXene nanosheets,and N-doped mesoporous *** strategy presented also opens up new horizon for space-confined preparation of high-performance electrode materials.

This study focuses on the electrical properties and microstructure of polypropylene(PP)-based blends used for cable insulation in nuclear power plants(NPPs).The PP-based blend,comprising isotactic PP and propylene-based elastomer(PBE)at concentrations ranging from 0 to 50 wt%,underwent a melt blending process and subsequent cobalt-60 gamma-ray irradiation with doses ranging from 0 to 250 *** conductivity,trap distribution,and alternating(AC)breakdown strength were chosen to assess the insulation *** results indicate that the addition of PBE significantly improves the electrical properties of PP under *** PP,the electrical conductivity increased with irradiation,whereas the trap depth and breakdown strength decreased ***,for the blend,these changes initially exhibit opposite *** the irradiation was increased to 250 kGy,the AC breakdown strength of the blend improved by more than 21%compared to that of *** physical and chemical structures of the samples were investigated to explore the improvement *** results offer insights into the design of new cable-insulation materials suitable for NPPs.

Impacts of near-M_(s)austempering treatment on microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation kinetics of a medium Mn steel

The microstructure evolution and bainitic transformation of an Fe-0.19C-4.03Mn-1.48Si steel subjected to near-M_(s)austempering treatment were systematically investigated by combining dilatometer,X-ray diffraction,and electron *** additional austempering treatments with isothermal temperatures above M_(s)were used as *** show that the incubation period for the bainitic transformation occurs when the medium Mn steel is treated with the austempering temperature above M_(s).However,when subjected to near-M_(s)isothermal treatment,the medium Mn steel does not show an incubation period and has the fastest bainitic transformation ***,the largest volume fraction of bainite with a value of 74.7%is obtained on the condition of near-M_(s)austempering treatment after cooling to room *** and microstructure evolution analysis indicates that the elimination of the incubation period and the fastest rate of bainitic transformation are related to the preformed *** advent of preformed martensite allows the specimen to generate more bainite in a limited *** bainitic ferrite nucleation at austenite grain boundaries and through autocatalysis at ferrite/austenite interfaces,a model is established to understand the kinetics of bainite formation and it can describe the nucleation rate of bainitic transformation well when compared to the experimental results.
