Even though Paranosema locustae is widely used in China as a biological agent for controlling grasshoppers,the mortality rate is initially quite *** study sought to determine whether the simultaneous use of *** and Beauveria bassiana would be a more effective control ***,changes in the intestinal microbial communities of migratory locusts infected with the two pathogens were analyzed to investigate the roles of gut microbes in pathogen-host *** mortality rate of locusts inoculated with *** and *** simultaneously was not significantly higher than expected but the mortality rates of locusts inoculated with *** 3,6,and 9 days after inoculation with *** were significantly higher than if their effects were additive,indicating synergism.A MiSeq analysis found that Weissella was the most common bacterium,representing 41.48%and 51.62%of the total bacteria in the mid-and hindguts,respectively,and the bacterial declines were greatest during dual infections with *** and *** appropriately timed combined application of *** and *** was more effective against locusts than either treatment ***,the combined inoculation of the two pathogens changed the gut microflora of locusts,indicating the potential relevancy of their synergistic effects on locust control.

The isothermally compression deformation behavior of an elevated Cu/Li weight ratio Al–Cu–Li alloy was investigated under various deformation *** isothermal compression tests were carried out in a temperature range from 300 to 500℃ and at a strain rate range from 0.001 to 10 s^-*** results show that the peak stress level decreases with temperature increasing and strain rate decreasing,which is represented by the Zener–Hollomon parameter Z in the hyperbolic sine equation with the hot deformation activation energy of 218.5 k J/*** low Z value,the dynamic recrystallized grain is well formed with clean high-angle *** high Z value,a high dislocation density with poorly developed cellularity and considerable fine dynamic precipitates are *** on the experimental data and dynamic material model,the processing maps at strain of 0.3,0.5 and 0.7 were developed to demonstrate the hot workability of the *** results show that the main softening mechanism at high Z value is precipitate coarsening and dynamic recovery;the dynamic recrystallization of the alloy can be easily observed as ln Z ≤ 29.44,with peak efficiency of power dissipation of around 70%.At strains of 0.3,0.5 and 0.7,the flow instability domains are found at higher strain rates,which mainly locate at the upper part of processing *** addition,when the strain rate is 0.001 or 0.02 s^-1,there is a particular instability domain at 300–350℃.

17-Estradiol (E2) is a natural steroidal estrogen essential for a variety of physiological functions in organisms. However, external E2, which is renowned for its potent biological effects, is also considered to be an endocrine-disrupting compound (EDC) capable of disturbing the normal operation of the endocrine system, even at nanogram-per-liter (ng/L) concentrations. Studies have revealed that medical and livestock wastewater can be contaminated with E2, which poses potential risks to human health. Currently, the primary method for detecting E2 relies on liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, which is limited with regard to on-site or large-scale sample testing due to instrumental constraints. Herein, we developed a magnetic graphene oxide (MGO)/aptamer separating material. The MGO was synthesized by creating a water-in-oil microemulsion at 90 ℃, an agarose hydrogel to load the FeO nanoparticles, and layered graphene oxide (GO). In contrast to conventional methods, such as chemical co-precipitation and solvothermal approaches, this method is more time-efficient and does not require high temperature or pressure. Moreover, the use of a physical encapsulation technique for enwrapping the FeO nanoparticles and layered GO eliminates the need for chemical modification. This approach reduces the use of harmful chemicals, ensures complete loading, and results in highly efficient encapsulation. The MGO was characterized using Fourier-transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM), as well as dynamic light scattering (DLS) and Zeta potential analyses, which revealed that the FeO nanoparticles had been successfully loaded onto the GO to produce MGO particles mainly around 5 μm in size. Additionally, this study demonstrated that the aqueous MGO dispersion is highly stable. The advancement of direct seawater electrolysis is a significant step towards sustainable hydrogen production,addressing the critical need for renewable energy sources and efficient resource ***,direct seawater electrolysis has to face several challenges posed by the corrosiveness of highly concentrated chloride and the competitive chlorine evolution reaction(ClER).To overcome these issues,we designed a novel NiP_(2)@CoP electrocatalyst on a porous titanium microfiltration(Ti MF)*** obtained bifunctional NiP_(2)@CoP catalyst outperforms the Pt/C and IrO_(2),as evidenced by its low overpotentials of 192 and 425 mV at a current density of 500 mA·cm^(-2) for hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)in alkaline seawater(1 M KOH+0.5 M NaCl),***,only 231 and 569 mV overpotentials are required at the current density of 1500 mA·cm^(-2) towards HER and OER in alkaline seawater,*** importantly,no ClER was observed,demonstrating its excellent selectivity to *** selection of porous Ti MF membrane as an electrode substrate further enhances the performance by providing a robust structure that promotes the fast generation and release of gas *** promising outcomes obtained with NiP_(2)@CoP catalysts on Ti MF support,therefore,pave the way for the commercial viability of direct seawater electrolysis technologies at industrial-level current densities.

After nearly one hundred years of research, metallurgy(metallurgical science and engineering) has gradually become a system with three levels of knowledge:(1) micro metallurgy at the atomic/molecular scale,(2) process metallurgy at the procedure/device, and(3) macrodynamic metallurgy at the full process/process group. Macro-dynamic metallurgy development must eliminate the concept of an "isolated system" and establish concepts of "flow," "process network," and "operating program" to study the "structure–function–efficiency" in the macrodynamic operation of metallurgical manufacturing processes. It means considering "flow" as the ontology and observing dynamic change by"flow" to solve the green and intelligent potential of metallurgical enterprises. Metallurgical process engineering is integrated metallurgy, toplevel designed metallurgy, macro-dynamic operated metallurgy, and engineering science level metallurgy. Metallurgical process engineering is a cross-level, comprehensive, and integrated study of the macro-dynamic operation of manufacturing processes. Metallurgical process engineering studies the physical nature and constitutive characteristics of the dynamic operation of steel manufacturing process, as well as the analysis-optimization of the set of procedure functions, coordination-optimization of the set of procedures' relations, and reconstruction-optimization of the set of procedures in the manufacturing process. The study establishes rules for the macro operation of the manufacturing process, as well as dynamic and precise objectives of engineering design and production operation.

BACKGROUND Sternal tumors are difficult to diagnose, and usually need to be differentiated from other diseases such as tuberculosis, osteosarcoma, intrathoracic thyroid and thymoma. The sternum is a rare site of Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is often misdiagnosed as tuberculosis on routine *** SUMMARY We reported a 47-year-old female patient with chest pain in the upper sternum for 1 mo. Chest computed tomography found a mass in the upper *** and immunohistochemistry of the biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of typical Hodgkin’s lymphoma(mixed cellularity subtype). Patient was diagnosed with primary sternal Hodgkin’s lymphoma and administered 6 cycles of adriamycin, bleomycin, vinblastine, and dacarbazine chemotherapy. Patient had no tumor recurrence and progression at a follow-up visit 2 years *** This study highlights the rarity of primary sternal Hodgkin’s lymphoma and the challenges of its diagnosis. A Pub Med and Web of Science search revealed 10 reported cases of sternal involvement in Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
