This paper proposes a measurement method related to the braking deformation of a complex *** the braking process,the deformation of the wheel includes large amounts of movement,vibration,warping,and distortion.A novel subset assignment and correlation method is proposed to measure the complex *** proposed method can greatly improve the accuracy and stability of the calculation of complex deformations by simplifying the complex deformation into translational deformations in logarithmic coordinate *** to the simulation and actual experiments,the proposed method can be utilized to measure the deformations of up to 100%tensile strain under complex *** to the accuracy verification experiment,the error of the proposed method is less than 50 *** results show that the proposed method can effectively carry out structural deformation measurement in the complex motion and deformation *** proposed method has great significance for structural performance analysis and optimization design considering complex motion and deformation.

The recent realization of valley physics in photonic systems has enriched the topological phases of light with protected edge modes and shown applications in designing high-performance photonic devices. However, the widely reported valley Hall effect of light in two-dimensional systems is limited to one single polarization. here, we present dual-polarization two-dimensional valley photonic crystals by simultaneously opening two frequency accidental degenerate Dirac cones. Two band gaps with different polarizations are characterized by opposite-valley Chern numbers, which are confirmed by the opposite-phase vortex distributions of bulk modes and opposite Berry curvatures. This situation results in the polarization-dependent refraction of bulk and edge modes, which locate in opposite valleys. The polarization-independent topological valley transport is also demonstrated. Our work shows the flexible control of light in topological photonic systems with a polarization degree of freedom and has applications in polarization multiplexing photonic devices.

Chern insulators have been generalized to many classical wave systems and thereby lead to many potential applications such as robust waveguides, quantum computation and high-performance lasers. However, the band structure of a material can be either topologically trivial or non-trivial, depending on how the crystal structure is designed. here, we propose a second Chern crystal in a four-dimensional parameter space by introducing two extra synthetic translation dimensions. Since the topology of the bulk bands in the synthetic translation space is intrinsically non-trivial, our proposed four-dimensional crystal is guaranteed to be topologically non-trivial regardless of the crystal’s detailed configuration. We derive the topologically protected modes on the lower dimensional boundaries of such a crystal via dimension ***, we observe the one-dimensional gapless dislocation modes and confirm their robustness in experiments. Our findings provide novel perspectives on topologically non-trivial crystals and may inspire designs of classical wave devices.

Controllable design of the catalytic electrodes with hierarchical superstructures is expected to improve their electrochemical ***,a self-supported integrated electrode(NiCo-ZLDH/NF)with a unique hierarchical quaternary superstructure was fabricated through a self-sacrificing template strategy from the metal–organic framework(Co-ZIF-67)nanoplate arrays,which features an intriguing well-defined hierarchy when taking the unit cells of the NiCo-based layered double hydroxide(NiCo-LDH)as the primary structure,the ultrathin LDH nanoneedles as the secondary structure,the mesoscale hollow plates of the LDH nanoneedle arrays as the tertiary structure,and the macroscale three-dimensional frames of the plate arrays as the quaternary ***,the distinctive structure of NiCo-ZLDH/NF can not only accelerate both mass and charge transfer,but also expose plentiful accessible active sites with high intrinsic activity,endowing it with an excellent electrochemical performance for urea oxidation reaction(UOR).Specially,it only required the low potentials of 1.335,1.368 and 1.388 V to deliver the current densities of 10,100 and 200 mA cm^(-2),respectively,much superior to those for typical *** NiCo-ZLDH/NF as the bifunctional electrode for both anodic UOR and cathodic heR,an energy-saving electrolysis system was further explored which can greatly reduce the needed voltage of 213 mV to deliver the current density of 100 mA cm^(-2),as compared to the conventional water electrolysis system composed of *** work manifests that it is prospective to explore the hierarchically nanostructured electrodes and the innovative electrolytic technologies for high-efficiency electrocatalysis.

Microendoscopes are vital for disease detection and clinical diagnosis. The essential issue for microendoscopes is to achieve minimally invasive and high-resolution observations of soft tissue structures inside deep body ***, the microscope objective is a must with the capabilities of both high lateral resolution in a wide field of view(FOV) and miniaturization in size. here, we propose a meta-objective, i.e., microscope objective based on cascaded metalenses. The two metalenses, with the optical diameters of 400 μm and 180 μm, respectively, are mounted on both sides of a 500-μm-thick silica film. Sub-micrometer lateral resolution reaches as high as 775 nm in such a naked meta-objective, with monochromatic aberration correction in a 125 μm full FOV and near diffraction limit imaging. Combined with a fiber bundle microscope system, the single cell contour of biological tissue(e.g., water lily leaf) can be clearly observed, compared to the indistinguishable features in other conventional lens-based fiber bundle systems, such as plano–convex and gradient refractive index(GRIN) cases.

Many areas are now experiencing data streams that contain privacy-sensitive *** the sharing and release of these data are of great commercial value,if these data are released directly,the private user information in the data will be ***,how to continuously generate publishable histograms(meeting privacy protection requirements)based on sliding data stream windows has become a critical issue,especially when sending data to an untrusted third *** histogram publication methods are unsatisfactory in terms of time and storage costs,because they must cache all elements in the current sliding window(sW).Our work addresses this drawback by designing an efficient online histogram publication(EOHP)method for local differential privacy data ***,in the EOHP method,the data collector first crafts a histogram of the current SW using an approximate counting ***,the data collector reduces the privacy budget by using the optimized budget absorption mechanism and adds appropriate noise to the approximate histogram,making it possible to publish the histogram while retaining satisfactory data *** experimental results on two different real datasets show that the EOHP algorithm significantly reduces the time and storage costs and improves data utility compared to other existing algorithms.

In silicon photonics,the cavity mode is a fundamental mechanism to design integrated passive devices for on-chip optical information ***,the corner state in a second-order topological photonic crystal(PC)rendered a global method to achieve an intrinsic cavity *** is crucial to explore such a topological corner state in silicon photonic integrated circuits(PICs)under in-plane ***,we study both theoretically and experimentally the topological nanophotonic corner state in a silicon-on-insulator PC cavity at a telecommunications *** theory,the expectation values of a mirror-flip operation for the Bloch modes of a PC slab are used to characterize the topological *** from topologically distinct bulk polarizations of two types of dielectric-vein PCs,the corner state is induced in a 90-deg-bend interface,localizing at the corner point of real space and the Brillouin zone boundary of reciprocal *** implement in-plane excitation in an experiment,we fabricate a cross-coupled PC cavity based on the bend interface and directly image the corner state near 1383 nm using a far-field ***,by means of the temporal coupled-mode theory,the intrinsic Q factor of a cross-coupled cavity(about 8000)is retrieved from the measured transmission *** work gives deterministic guidance and potential applications for cavity-mode-based passive devices in silicon PICs,such as optical filters,routers,and multiplexers.

The abuse of tetracycline antibiotics has caused great harm to human health and *** inexpensive,convenient and sensitive methods for the detection of tetracycline antibiotics is highly ***,based on the H_(4)ddp ligand[H_(4)ddp=3-(3,5-dicarboxyphenyl)pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid],two novel zinc-based metal-organic frameworks(MOFs){[Zn_(3)(ddp)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(4)]·3H_(2)O}n(Zn1-ddp)and{[Zn_(3)(ddp)_(2)(H_(2)O)_(4)]·3H_(2)O}n(Zn2-ddp)were successfully designed by delicate structural *** Zn1-ddp and Zn2-ddp exhibited excellent water and chemical stability and showed excellent fluorescence quenching performance for tetracycline ***,the more advanced framework structure and better fluorescent performance make Zn1-ddp more sensitive than Zn2-ddp in fluorescent detection with a detection limit of 0.29µmol/L for tetracycline(TC),0.09µmol/L for doxycycline(DOX),0.10µmol/L for minocycline(MIN)and metacycline(MEL),0.19µmol/L for chlortetracycline(CTC),and 0.67µmol/L for oxytetracycline(OTC)among tetracycline *** fluorescence quenching mechanism of Zn1-ddp and Zn2-ddp for tetracycline antibiotics detection was deeply *** reasons for the superior detection performance of Zn1-ddp over Zn2-ddp were also analyzed in depth through Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry(FTIR),X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)analysis and framework structure *** developed method opens up a new perspective for antibiotics detection based on zinc-based MOFs.
