Joint fuzzy background and adaptive foreground model for moving target detection

Moving target detection is one of the most basic tasks in computer *** conventional wisdom,the problem is solved by iterative optimization under either matrix Decomposition(MD)or matrix Factorization(MF)*** utilizes foreground information to facilitate background *** uses noise-based weights to fine-tune the *** both noise and foreground information contribute to the recovery of the *** jointly exploit their advantages,inspired by two framework complementary characteristics,we propose to simultaneously exploit the advantages of these two optimizing approaches in a unified framework called Joint matrix Decomposition and Factorization(JMDF).To improve background extraction,a fuzzy factorization is *** fuzzy membership of the background/foreground association is calculated during the factorization process to distinguish their contributions of both to background *** describe the spatio-temporal continuity of foreground more accurately,we propose to incorporate the first order temporal difference into the group sparsity constraint *** temporal constraint is adjusted *** foreground and the background are jointly estimated through an effective alternate optimization process,and the noise can be modeled with the specific probability *** experimental results of vast real videos illustrate the effectiveness of our *** with the current state-of-the-art technology,our method can usually form the clearer background and extract the more accurate ***-noise experiments show the noise robustness of our method.

Accelerated heterogenous ring-opening polymerization towards well-defined helical poly(N-allyl alanine)with clickable side chains

Well-defined poly(N-allyl alanine)has been synthesized by heterogenous ring-opening polymerization(HROP)of less reactive N-allyl-alanine N-carboxyanhydride,using acetic acid as the catalyst and benzylamine as the initiator,in non-polar ***,the polymerization exhibited typical features of living polymerization though both monomer(liquid)and polymer(solid)have minimal solubility in *** obtained polymer showed a stable helix structure independent of the temperatures screened,as evidenced by circular dichroism ***,the preliminary study demonstrated that the side chains can be post-functionalized through thiol-ene click chemistry with quantitative ***,this work provides guidance for the development of accelerated HROP of other liquid monomers bearing low ***,the helical and functionalizable poly(N-allyl alanine)could be a useful“clickable platform”for the design of variable biomaterials via efficient click chemistry.

To overcome the inaccuracy problem of the traditional wedge evaluation of steel plates and strips caused by the ran-domness of the thicknesses of two local points and improve the reliability of the wedge index,the double-centroid method for the wedge evaluation was proposed,and a model based on the centroid theory was ***,an integral model for the discrete thickness values of the cross-section profiles was *** discussion focused on the distinct characteristics of the two-point method,asymmetric method,and double-centroid method in evaluating the asymmetric distribution of *** three methods were employed to evaluate the wedge values of both the theoretical and measured cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and the accuracies of three wedge evaluation models were analyzed and *** results showed that the double-centroid method objectively reflects the degree and variation characteristics of the wedge values of the cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and this method is feasible,reliable,and outstanding.

Objective The effect of the functionally unknown gene C6orf120 on autoimmune hepatitis was investigated on C6orf120 knockout rats(C6orf120^(-/-))and THP-1 *** Six–eight-week-old C6orf120^(-/-)and wild-type(WT)SD rats were injected with Con A(16 mg/kg),and euthanized after 24 *** sera,livers,and spleens were ***-1 cells and the recombinant protein(rC6ORF120)were used to explore the mechanism in *** frequency of M1 and M2 macrophages was analyzed using flow *** blotting and PCR were used to detect macrophage polarization-associated *** C6orf120 knockout attenuated Con A-induced autoimmune *** cytometry indicated that the proportion of CD68^(+)CD86^(+)M1 macrophages from the liver and spleen in the C6orf120^(-/-)rats decreased.C6orf120 knockout induced downregulation of CD86 protein and the mRNA levels of related inflammatory factors TNF-α,IL-1β,and IL-6 in the liver.C6orf120 knockout did not affect the polarization of THP-1 ***,rC6ORF120 promoted the THP-1 cells toward CD68^(+)CD80^(+)M1 macrophages and inhibited the CD68^(+)CD206^(+)M2 *** C6orf120 knockout alleviates Con A-induced autoimmune hepatitis by inhibiting macrophage polarization toward M1 macrophages and reducing the expression of related inflammatory factors in C6orf120^(-/-)rats.

Impact of Polymer matrix on Polymer Mechanochromism from Excited State Intramolecular Proton Transfer

Mechanochromic polymers based on non-covalent changes have attracted much attention ***,we report the impact of inter/intramolecular hydrogen bonds on polymer mechanochromism from the excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) ***-NH2-OH and PhMz=2A are designed and obtained by simple and high-yield synthesis,and are connected into polyurethane and poly(methyl acrylate-co-2-ethylhexyl acrylate),*** the initial state,the PhMz-NH2-OH@PU sample shows blue fluorescence from the excited enol form (E*) excitons,owing to intermolecular hydrogen bonds that interrupt the ESIPT reactions but the PhMz=2A@Pma-2-EA sample expresses cyan fluorescence belonging to the excited keto form (K*) emission,implying that the intramolecular hydrogen bonds ***,under stretching,external force can tune the emission of the PhMz=2A@Pma-2-EA sample from K* to E* *** external force can putatively still promote a bond rotation,ESIPT reactions remain equivalently interrupted in both the relaxed and stressed states in a hydrogen-bond donating *** calculation confirms the force-induced increase in dihedral angle for the transition of ESIPT-on/***,PhMz-NH2-OH@PU and PhMz=2A@Pma-2-EA showed disparate initial ESIPT states and further different responses/sensitivity to *** study reports a novel and efficient strategy for enriching mechanochromic investigation and extending the applications of ESIPT reactions.

Dielectric elastomers(DEs)have emerged as one of the most promising artificial muscle technologies,due to their exceptional properties such as large actuation strain,fast response,high energy density,and flexible processibility for various *** the past two decades,researchers have been working on developing DE materials with improved properties and exploring innovative applications of dielectric elastomer actuators(DEAs).This review article focuses on two main topics:recent material innovation of DEs and development of multilayer stacking processes for DEAs,which are important to promoting commercialization of *** begins by explaining the working principle of a ***,recently developed strategies for preparing new DE materials are introduced,including reducing mechanical stiffness,increasing dielectric permittivity,suppressing viscoelasticity loss,and mitigating electromechanical instability without *** the next section,different multilayer stacking methods for fabricating multilayer DEAs are discussed,including conventional dry stacking,wet stacking,a novel dry stacking method,and micro-fabrication-enabled stacking *** review provides a comprehensive and up-to-date overview of recent developments in high-performance DE materials and multilayer stacking *** highlights the progress made in the field and also discusses potential future directions for further advancements.

Approaching high oxygen evolution reaction performance by synergetic dual-ion leaching

Self-reconstruction of catalysts during oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is crucial for the development of energy conversion ***,the relationship between the specific atomic structure of pre-catalysts and their electrocatalytic behavior after reconstruction via dual-ion leaching has not been extensively *** this work,we design a highly effective non-noble metal OER catalyst with heterointerface through continuous self-reconstruction of Co_(2)(OH)_(3)Cl@NiMoO_(4)as pre-catalyst by a straightforward dual-ion(***_(4)^(2-)and Cl^(-))***-situ Raman and in-situ Fourier transform infrared(FT-IR)spectroscopy have precisely identified the progressive phase transformation of the pre-catalyst during self-reconstruction,which results in a stable heterojunction of CoOOH and NiOOH(CoOOH@NiOOH).Further calculations based on density functional theory(DFT)of CoOOH@NiOOH evident that more electrons will be aggregated in the Fermi level of ***,Gibbs free energy(ΔG)for different OER steps of CoOOH@NiOOH exhibit lower energy costs of all intermediates,implying the well catalytic ***,the catalyst derived from dual-ion leaching displays outstanding OER performance,characterized by an overpotential of 275 mV at a current density of 10 ma·cm^(-2)and exceptional stability over 12 h *** work successfully paves a way of finding high-performance OER catalysts based on non-noble metal through dual-ion leaching during self-reconstruction.

Conductive edge-warping graphite mesas for robust structural superlubricity

Structural superlubricity(SSL) refers to a state of ultralow friction and zero wear when two solid surfaces slide against each other. Recent investigations have identified amorphous carbon at the edge of the graphite mesa as the primary source of friction in such SSL systems. Here, the tensile stress of metal thin film is exploited to engineer vertically conductive edge-warping graphite mesas(EWGM). Through this approach, robust SSL performance is realized, demonstrated by sliding an 8 μm side length square EWGM on an atomically smooth Au substrate for 10000 cycles at a constant voltage of 1 m V. In this SSL system,differential friction coefficients lower than 1.5 × 10^(-4) are achieved, with static contact resistance between EWGM and Au substrate as low as 28Ω and sliding contact resistance as low as 32Ω. Moreover, the EWGM exhibits SSL behavior on polished Si wafer substrates. Furthermore, because of the no-edge contact with the substrate during sliding, friction is independent of the sliding speed of the EWGM. This study presents the first successful fabrication of conductive EWGM. Remarkably, in both EWGM-Au and EWGM-Si SSL systems, the measured frictions are more than one order of magnitude lower than those of ordinary self-retracting graphite mesas with no-edge warping, and no wear is observed during extended current-carrying ***, these findings establish a solid groundwork for the future realization of macroscale conductive SSL systems.
