Internal multiples are commonly present in seismic data due to variations in velocity or density of subsurface media. They can reduce the signal-to-noise ratio of seismic data and degrade the quality of the image. With the development of seismic exploration into deep and ultradeep events, especially those from complex targets in the western region of China, the internal multiple eliminations become increasingly challenging. Currently, three-dimensional(3D) seismic data are primarily used for oil and gas target recognition and drilling. Effectively eliminating internal multiples in 3D seismic data of complex structures and mitigating their adverse effects is crucial for enhancing the success rate of drilling. In this study, we propose an internal multiple prediction algorithm for 3D seismic data in complex structures using the Marchenko autofocusing theory. This method can predict the accurate internal multiples of time difference without an accurate velocity model and the implementation process mainly consists of several steps. Firstly, simulating direct waves with a 3D macroscopic velocity ***, using direct waves and 3D full seismic acquisition records to obtain the upgoing and downgoing Green's functions between the virtual source point and surface. Thirdly, constructing internal multiples of the relevant layers by upgoing and downgoing Green's functions. Finally, utilizing the adaptive matching subtraction method to remove predicted internal multiples from the original data to obtain seismic records without multiples. Compared with the two-dimensional(2D) Marchenko algorithm, the performance of the 3D Marchenko algorithm for internal multiple prediction has been significantly enhanced, resulting in higher computational accuracy. Numerical simulation test results indicate that our proposed method can effectively eliminate internal multiples in 3D seismic data,thereby exhibiting important theoretical and industrial application value.

With the rapid development of aquaculture in lakes and reservoirs, its negative effects on water quality and aquatic organisms are clearly emerging. Toward a better understanding of these effects, chemical and biological monitoring was conducted in the Fangbian Reservoir to study the relationship between aquaculture and eutrophication. As a domestic water supply source, this reservoir has reached the mesotrophic level. The concentrations of total nitrogen （TN） and total phosphorus （TP） in the Fangbian Reservoir have frequently exceeded the prescriptive level according to the Environmental Quality Standardgfor SurJace Water （GB3838-2002）. Pond and fence aquaculture feeding is the main cause of high levels of nitrogen and phosphorus, accounting for nearly half of the total pollution, and causing the reservoir environmental capacity to be exceeded. The amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus that went directly to the reservoir through the residual bait and fish droppings in fence aquaculture were 42 768 kg per year and 10 856 kg per year respectively, from 2007 to 2009. About 2 913 kg of nitrogen and 450 kg of phosphorus were imported to the reservoir through the exchange of water from the culturing ponds at the same time. Therefore, controlling the aquaculture scale and promoting eco-aquaculture are key measures for lessening the eutrophication degree and improving the water quality.

Repair of left ventricular aneurysm： ten-year experience in Chinese patients

Background A large transmural myocardial infarction often results in a dyskinetic or akinetic left ventricular aneurysm （LVA）. This study aimed to explore the early and long-term clinical outcomes and to identify predictors for survivals and hospital re-admission after the repair of left ventricular aneurysm. Methods We followed up 497 patients who had undergone LVA repair from a single center in China between 1995 and 2005. The perioperative parameters were recorded. Risk factors for early mortality and long-term results were analyzed by multivariate Logistic regression. Cox＇s proportional hazard model was used to calculate risk factors for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events, cause of death and re-admission. Kaplan-Meier curve was employed to analyze long-term survival. Results The operative mortality was 2.0%. The long-term mortality was 11.1% and cardiac causes contributed to 61.8% of the overall long-term mortality. Four hundred and thirty-two patients survived during the follow-up period and 37.5% of them had been re-admitted at least one time. One hundred and five patients experienced major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events. Survival analysis exhibited that the probability of survival at 1 and 5 years after operation was 96% and 86% respectively. Previous atrial fibrillation was the independent risk factor for early mortality. Independent risk factors for long-term mortality were poor left ventricular ejection fraction and stroke, and risk factors for cardiac mortality were intraventricular block, stroke and poor left ventricular ejection fraction. Stroke, intraventricular block and advanced age were independent risk factors for major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular events, and New York Heart Association （NYHA） class Ill-IV was the only risk factor for hospital re-admission.
