A semi-infinite waveguide acts as a mirror and helps protect the qubit in front of it from ***,we investigate the interference effect in an open waveguide consisting of resonators with different decay *** find that a lossy resonator works as a mirror and changes the effective decay rate of the *** spontaneous radiation of qubit is related to its environment,and we can control it by arranging the lossy resonator's position or *** approach helps improving the qubit performance,as well as the quantum gate fidelities.

As superconducting quantum circuits are scaling up rapidly towards the noisy intermediate-scale quantum(NISQ)era,the demand for electronic control equipment has increased *** fully control a quantum chip of N qubits,the common method based on up-conversion technology costs at least 2×N digital-to-analog converters(DACs)and N IQ *** expenses and complicate mixer calibration have become a hinderance for intermediate-scale quantum *** we propose a universal control scheme for superconducting circuits,fully based on parametric *** control N qubits on a chip,our scheme only requires N DACs and no IQ mixer,which significantly reduces the *** key idea in the control scheme is to introduce a global pump signal for single-qubit *** theoretically explain how the universal gates are constructed using parametric *** fidelity analysis shows that parametric single-qubit(two-qubit)gates in the proposed scheme can achieve low error rates of 10^(4),with a gate time of about 60 ns(100 ns).

The influences of perforating phase and bedding planes on the fracture deflection in laminated shale

The perforating phase leads to complex and diverse hydraulic fracture propagation behaviors in laminated shale formations. In this paper, a 2D high-speed imaging scheme which can capture the interaction between perforating phase and natural shale bedding planes was proposed. The phase field method was used to simulate the same conditions as in the experiment for verification and hydraulic fracture propagation mechanism under the competition of perforating phase and bedding planes was *** results indicate that the bedding planes appear to be no influence on fracture propagation while the perforating phase is perpendicular to the bedding planes, and the fracture propagates along the perforating phase without deflection. When the perforating phase algins with the bedding planes, the fracture initiation pressure reserves the lowest value, and no deflection occurs during fracture propagation. When the perforating phase is the angle 45°, 60°and 75°of bedding planes, the bedding planes begin to play a key role on the fracture deflection. The maximum deflection degree is reached at the perforating phase of75°. Numerical simulation provides evidence that the existence of shale bedding planes is not exactly equivalent to anisotropy for fracture propagation and the difference of mechanical properties between different shale layers is the fundamental reason for fracture deflection. The findings help to understand the intrinsic characteristics of shale and provide a theoretical basis for the optimization design of field perforation parameters.

The notorious growth of zinc dendrite and the water-induced corrosion of zinc metal anodes（ZMAs）restrict the practical development of aqueous zinc ion batteries（AZIBs）.In this work,a zinc metallized,imide-pillared covalent organic framework（ZPC） protective film has been engineered as a stable Zn2+ion-conducting interphase to modulate interfacial kinetics and suppress side reactions for *** to bare Zn,ZPC@Zn exhibits a higher Zn2+ionic conductivity,a larger Zn2+transference number,a lower electronic conductivity,a smaller desolvation activation energy and correspondingly a significant suppression of corrosion,hydrogen evolution and Zn ***,the ZPC@Zn||ZPC@Zn symmetric cell obtains a cycling lifespan over 3000 h under 5 mA cm-2for 1 mA h *** ZPC@Zn||NH4V4O10coin-type full battery delivers a specific capacity of 195.8 mA h g-1with a retention rate of78.5% at 2 A g-1after 1100 cycles,and the ZPC@Zn||NH4V4O10pouch full cell shows a retention of70.1% in reversible capacity at 3 A g-1after 1100 *** present incorporation of imide-linked covalent organic frameworks in the surface modification of ZMAs will offer fresh perspectives in the search for ideal protective films for the practicality of AZIBs.

In superconducting circuit,microwave resonators and capacitors are crucial components,and their quality has a strong impact on circuit *** we develop a novel wet etching process to define these two components using common photoresist developer as *** method reduces subsequent steps and can be completed immediately after *** measuring the internal quality factor of resonators,we show that it is possible to achieve similar or better performance when compared with samples made by standard etching *** easy-to-implement method may boost the yield hence providing an alternative fabrication process for microwave resonators and capacitors.

Aiming at the difficult problem of solving the conformation statistics of complex polymers, this study presents a novel and concise conformation statistics theoretical approach based on Monte Carlo and Neural Network method. This method offers a new research idea for investigating the conformation statistics of complex polymers, characterized by its simplicity and practicality. It can be applied to more complex topological structure, more higher degree of freedom polymer systems with higher dimensions, theory research on dynamic self-consistent field theory and polymer field theory, as well as the analysis of scattering experimental data. The conformation statistics of complex polymers determine the structure and response properties of the system. Using the new method proposed in this study, taking the semiflexible ring diblock copolymer as an example, Monte Carlo simulation is used to sample this ring conformation to construct the dataset of polymer. The structure factor describing conformation statistics are expressed as continuous functions of structure parameters by neural network supervised learning. This is the innovation of this work. As an application, the structure factors represented by neural networks were introduced into the random phase approximation theory to study the microphase separation of semiflexible ring diblock copolymers. The influence of the ring's topological properties on the phase transition behavior was pointed out.

P-and SV-wave dispersion and attenuation have been extensively investigated in saturated poroelastic media with aligned ***,there are few existing models that incorporate the multiple wave attenuation mechanisms from the microscopic scale to the macroscopic ***,in this work,we developed a unified model to incorporate the wave attenuation mechanisms at different scales,which includes the microscopic squirt flow between the microcracks and pores,the mesoscopic wave-induced fluid flow between fractures and background(FB-WIFF),and the macroscopic Biot's global flow and elastic scattering(ES)from the *** tang's modified Biot's theory and the mixed-boundary conditions,we derived the exact frequency-dependent solutions of the scattering problem for a single penny-shaped fracture with oblique incident P-and *** then developed theoretical models for a set of aligned fractures and randomly oriented fractures using the Foldy *** results indicated that microcrack squirt flow considerably influences the dispersion and attenuation of P-and SV-wave *** coupling effects of microcrack squirt flow with the FB-WIFF and ES of fractures cause much higher velocity dispersion and attenuation for P waves than for SV *** oriented fractures substantially reduce the attenuation caused by the FB-WIFF and ES,particularly for the ES attenuation of SV *** a comparison with existing models in the limiting cases and previous experimental measurements,we validated our model.
