Fully Chemical Recyclable Poly(γ-butyrolactone)-based Copolymers with Tunable Structures and Properties

The emerging chemical recyclable polymers,such as poly(γ-butyrolactone)(PGBL)and poly((R)-3,4-trans six-membered ring-fused GBL)(P((R)-M)),provide a good solution to the plastic ***,these homopolymers suffer from limited structures and ***,we reported a fully chemical recyclable copolymer P(GBL-co-((R)-M))through ring-opening copolymerization(ROCOP)of GBL and(R)-*** employing organomagnesium as the catalyst and regulating the reaction conditions,the chemical structures of copolymers were wellcontrolled(GBL content=13%-78%,Mn=6560-15600 g/mol,DM=1.08-1.59).The resultant P(GBL-co-((R)-M))exhibited fully chemical recyclability,which rapidly and quantitatively depolymerized into initial GBL and(R)-M monomer through *** varying GBL content,tunable thermal properties were achieved for P(GBL-co-((R)-M)).The onset decomposition temperatures of copolymers varied from 193°C to 234°C.A linear evolution of glass transition temperature(T_(g))of P(GBL-co-((R)-M))versus GBL content was obtained as following equation of Tg=-1.06×GBL mol%×100+*** hope that the reported fully chemical recyclable copolymers with tunable structures and properties would serve as the candidate material for sustainable applications.

Advanced persistent threat(APT) is a powerful attack pattern in which attackers lurk in the system, waiting for opportune moments and launching attacks. Remote state estimation(RSE) is an essential scenario in the cyber-physical system(CPS). The attacker's objective is to take advantage of the vulnerability in the RSE system, expanding the estimation error of the remote estimator(RE). However, the lurking demand compels the attacker to consider harvesting energy from an external quality-changing environment,which also restricts the attacker. It is of great military interest to manage attack energy in an unreliable environment and with limited resources.

Oncogenic KRAS reprograms pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma(PDAC) cells to a state that is awfully resistant to *** alternative coping strategy is to trigger a nonapoptotic cell ***,a multi specific platinum complex SEP was constructed by conjugating a quinone derivative seratrodast to a prodrug of ***,SEP-treated KRAS-mutant PDAC cells showed the characteristics of pyroptosis,apoptosis and necroptosis,similar to PANoptosis(a newfound inflammatory cell death).Mechanistically,SEP could enter cancer cells effectively,then damage nuclear DNA,boost mitochondrial superoxide anion radicals and affect various signaling pathways related to redox homeostasis and tumor *** our best knowledge,SEP is the first metal complex,even small molecule,to elicit PANoptosis(pyroptosis,apoptosis and necroptosis) in cancer cells,providing a new strategy to overcome apoptotic resistance of KRAS-mutant PDAC.

Sludge reduction with Tubificidae and the impact on the performance of the wastewater treatment process

To reduce excess sludge, a Tubificidae reactor was combined with an integrated oxidation ditch with vertical circle （IODVC）, and a new integrated system was developed for wastewater treatment, A pilot-scale of this integrated system was tested to investigate the sludge reduction with Tubificidae and the impact on effluent quality and sludge production. The dominant worm was Branchnria Sowerbyi in the Tubificidae reactor after inoculation of Branchnria Sowerbyi and Limnodrilns sp., and the maximal volume density of wet Tubificidae in vessels of the Tubificidae reactor was 17600 g/m^3. Two operational modes, treating the excess sludge （first mode） and the returned sludge （second mode） of IODVC by the Tubificidae reactor, were used in this experiment. The results showed that the excess sludge reduction rate was 46.4% in the first mode, and the average sludge yield of the integrated system was 6.19× 10^-5 kg SS/kg COD in the second mode. Though the sludge returned to IODVC via the Tubificidae reactor, it had little impact on the effluent quality and the sludge characteristics of the IODVC. No new type of recalcitrant substance in the supernatant was discharged into the environment when the sludge was treated by Tubificidae. The experimental results also indicated that no significant changes occurred on the viscosity, specific resistance, and the floc size distribution of the sludge.

Background:Acute decompensated heart failure(ADHF)is a life-threatening and costly *** re-mains regarding the effi cacy and renal tolerability of ultrafi ltration for treating *** therefore performed this meta-analysis to evaluate this clinical ***:A search of PubMed,EMBASE,and the Cochrane database of controlled trials was performed from in-ception to March 2021 for relevant randomized controlled *** quality of the included trials and outcomes was evaluated with the use of the risk of bias assessment tool and the Grading of Recommendations,Assessment,Develop-ment and Evaluation(GRADE)approach,*** risk ratio and the standardized mean difference(SMD)or weighted mean difference(WMD)were computed and pooled with fi xed-effects or random-effects ***:This meta-analysis included 19 studies involving 1281 *** ltration was superior to the control treatments for weight loss(WMD 1.24 kg,95%confi dence interval[CI]0.38-2.09 kg,P=0.004)and fl uid removal(WMD 1.55 L,95%CI 0.51-2.59 l,P=0.003)and was associated with a signifi cant increase in serum creatinine level compared with the control treatments(SMD 0.15 mg/dL,95%CI 0.00-0.30 mg/dL,P=0.04).However,no signifi cant effects were found for serum N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide level,length of hospital stay,all-cause mortality,or all-cause rehospitalization in the ultrafi ltration ***:The use of ultrafi ltration in patients with ADHF is superior to the use of the control treatments for weight loss and fl uid removal,but has adverse renal effects and lacks signifi cant effects on long-term prognosis,in-dicating that this approach to decongestion in ADHF patients is effi cient for fl uid management but less safe renally.

Intraseasonal variability of the Kuroshio observed via mooring at 18°N

Insufficient observations near the origin of the Kuroshio have led to incomplete understanding of the intraseasonal variability(ISV)of the *** measurements of the Kuroshio velocity were performed with an array of three profiler moorings(122.7°E,123°E,and 123.3°E)along 18°N from January 2018 to February *** ISV of the Kuroshio at 18°N was investigated based on a combination of mooring observations and global high-resolution HYbrid Coordinate Ocean Model reanalysis *** estimated time-averaged transport in the upper 350 m across the observation transect was 6.5±2.6 Sv(1.0 Sv=10^(6)m^(3)/s).Two significant ISV peaks at 50-60 and~100 d were recognized in the power spectra of the meridional velocity and *** analysis indicated that the ISV at 50-60 d was caused by westward-propagating eddies at average propagation speed of~13 cm/s and wavelength of~635 *** ISV peak at~100 d was mainly caused by northward-propagating eddies generated in the North Equatorial Current *** investigation indicated that the ISV of the Kuroshio at 18°N is dominated by meridional transport,rather than by the zonal migration of the Kuroshio main *** findings provide a better understanding of the ISV of the Kuroshio east of Luzon Island.

Debris slopes are widely distributed across the Three Gorges Reservoir area in China,and seasonal fluctuations of the water level in the area tend to cause high-frequency microseisms that subsequently induce landslides on such debris *** this study,a cumulative damage model of debris slope with varying slope characteristics under the effects of frequent microseisms was established,based on the accurate definition of slope damage *** cumulative damage behaviour and the mechanisms of slope instability and sliding under frequent microseisms were thus systematically investigated through a series of shaking table tests and discrete element numerical simulations,and the influences of related parameters such as bedrock,dry density and stone content were *** results showed that the instability mode of a debris slope can be divided into a vibration-compaction stage,a crack generation stage,a crack development stage,and an instability *** the action of frequent microseisms,debris slope undergoes the last three stages cyclically,which causes the accumulation to slide out in layers under the synergistic action of tension and shear,causing the slope to become *** are two sliding surfaces as well as the parallel tensile surfaces in the final instability of the debris *** the process of instability,the development trend of the damage accumulation curve remains similar for debris slopes with different ***,the initial vibration compaction effect in the bedrock-free model is stronger than that in the bedrock model,with the overall cumulative damage degree in the former being lower than that of the *** damage degree of the debris slope with high dry density also develops more slowly than that of the debris slope with low dry *** damage development rate of the debris slope does not always decrease with the increase of stone *** damage degree growth rate of the debris slope with the optimal stone

Convection in a horizontal fluid layer heated from below is one of models for studying patterns of convection in binary fluid mixtures and has been extensively studied. In this article, the convection structures in a rectangular cell were investigated for the aspect-ratio Г= 12 and the separation ratio ψ = -0.47. Simulations were preformed by solving the hydrodynamic equations using the SIMPLE method. A Counter Propagating Wave （CPW） state was found in binary fluid convection with a periodically horizontal motion of defects, and the pattern dynamics was further discuss.
