Objective china is among the 3. countries with a high burden of tuberculosis(TB)worldwide,and TB remains a public health *** Prefecture in the southern xinjiang Autonomous Region is considered as one of the highest TB burden regions in ***,molecular epidemiological studies of Kashgar are *** A population-based retrospective study was conducted using whole-genome sequencing(WGS)to determine the characteristics of drug resistance and the transmission *** A total of 1,668 isolates collected in 2020 were classified into {3.neages 2(46.0%),3.27.5%),and 4(26.5%).The drug resistance rates revealed by WGS showed that the top three drugs in terms of the resistance rate were isoniazid(7.4%,124/1,668),streptomycin(6.0%,100/1,668),and rifampicin(3.3.,55/1,668).The rate of rifampicin resistance was 1.8%(23.1,290)in the new cases and 9.4%(3./3.0)in the previously treated *** resistance mutations were detected more frequently in {3.neage 2 strains than in {3.neage 3.or 4 strains,respectively:18.6%vs.8.7 or 9%,P3./1,668).Multivariate logistic analyses indicated that sex,age,occupation,{3.neage,and drug resistance were the risk factors for recent *** the low rate of drug resistance,drug-resistant strains had a higher risk of recent transmission than the susceptible strains(adjusted odds ratio,1.414;95%CI,1.023.1.954;P=0.03.).Among all patients with drug-resistant tuberculosis(DR-TB),78.4%(171/218)were attributed to the transmission of DR-TB *** Our results suggest that drug-resistant strains are more transmissible than susceptible strains and that transmission is the major driving force of the current DR-TB epidemic in Kashgar.

The concept of critical N concentration(N_c)has been widely used in agronomy as the basis for diagnosis of crop N status,and allows discrimination between field situations of sub-optimal and supra-optimal N supply.A critical N dilution curve of N_c=3..0W^(-0.3.),where W is the aboveground biomass(Mg DM ha^(-1))and N_c the critical N concentration in aboveground dry matter(g kg^(-1)DM),was developed for spring maize in *** objectives were to validate whether this European critical N dilution curve was appropriate for summer maize production in the North china Plain(NCP)and to develop a critical N dilution curve especially for summer maize production in this *** total 23. data points from 16 experiments were used to test the European critical N dilution *** observations showed that the European critical N dilution curve was unsuitable for summer maize in the NCP,especially at the early growth *** the data obtained,a critical N dilution curve for summer maize in the NCP was described by the equation of N_c=27.2W^(-0,27),when aboveground biomass was between 0.64 and 11.17 Mg DM ha^(-1).Based on this curve,more than 90%of the data for the N deficiency supply treatments had an N nutrition index(NNI)1.

Objectives To identify the loci involved in nonsyndromic cleft lip with or without cleft palate （NSCL/P） in Northern Chinese people in Shenyang by using genomewide and interaction linkage *** Two multiplex families in Shenyang from North {3. were ascertained through probands with NSCL/*** of every member was drawn for DNA extraction and *** were available for 3.2 autosomal short tandem repeat （STR） markers from the ABI Prism linkage Mapping Set version *** between markers and NSCL/P was assessed by 2-point parametric LOD scores,multipoint heterogeneity parametric LOD scores （HLODs）,and multipoint nonparametric linkage score （NPL）.Results The initial scan suggested linkage on Chromosomes 1,2,and *** subsequent fine mapping,1q3.-q42 showed a maximum multipoint LOD score of 1.9（empirical P=0.013. and an NPL score of 2.3. （empirical P=0.053..For 2p24-p25,the multipoint NPL increased to 2.94 （empirical P=0.007）.2-locus interaction analysis obtained a maximum NPL score of 3.73.（P=0.00078） and a maximum LOD score of 3.for Chromosome 1 （at 221 cM） and Chromosome 2 （at 29 cM）.Conclusion Both parametric and nonparametric linkage scores greatly increased over the initial linkage scores on 1q3.-q42,suggesting a susceptibility locus in this *** linkage gave a strong evidence for a candidate region on chromosome *** superiority of 2-locus linkage scores compared to single-locus scores gave additional evidence for linkage on 1q3.-q42 and 2p24-p25,and suggested that certain genes in the two regions may contribute to NCSL/P risks with interaction.

芦苇(Phragmites australis)作为典型的根茎型多年生湿地植物,具有广泛的环境耐受性。该研究采用盆栽实验,采取裂区实验设计,水分处理为主区,包括淹水和干旱两个水平,铅(Pb)为副区,包括0、500、1500、3.000、4 500 mg·kg–1 5个水平,共10个处理,每个处理12个重复,研究淹水和干旱条件下Pb污染对芦苇生长、生物量分配及光合作用的影响,以期明确不同生境下芦苇适应或忍耐重金属污染而采取的策略,为芦苇应用于湿地恢复和污染修复提供理论依据。结果表明,在淹水处理中,Pb显著抑制地下芽形成和根茎生长,但对子株数没有影响;与母株相比子株具有高的日生长速率、光合速率和生物量(母株的3.7倍)。在干旱环境中,Pb显著抑制根、地下芽和根茎生长,母株和子株生物量积累及光合作用,且这些指标均小于淹水处理的。无论在淹水还是干旱环境中,芦苇体内绝大部分Pb积累在根中,根茎和子株中Pb含量较少,被转运至母株中的Pb大约是子株的3.。淹水条件下子株体内Pb含量小于干旱处理的。结果表明,干旱和Pb的协同作用显著抑制芦苇生长、生物量积累和光合作用,可能导致子株生产力和种群密度减小甚至种群衰退。但淹水芦苇能够采取相应的Pb分配策略减缓Pb污染对芦苇生长、生理和繁殖的负面影响,有利于芦苇种群的繁衍和稳定。

Objective Silicosis, caused by inhalation of silica dust, is the most serious occupational disease in {3. and the aim of present study was to explore the protective effect of Ang(1-7) on silicotic fibrosis and myofibroblast differentiation induced by Ang II. Methods HOPE-MED 8050 exposure control apparatus was used to establish the rat silicosis model. Pathological changes and collagen deposition of the lung tissue were examined by H.E. and VG staining, respectively. The localizations of ACE2 and α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA) in the lung were detected by immunohistochemistry. Expression levels of collagen type I, α-SMA, ACE2, and Mas in the lung tissue and fibroblasts were examined by western blot. Levels of ACE2, Ang(1-7), and Ang II in serum were determined by EliSA. Co-localization of ACE2 and α-SMA in fibroblasts was detected by immunofluorescence. Results Ang(1-7) induced pathological changes and enhanced collagen deposition in vivo. Ang(1-7) decreased the expressions of collagen type I and α-SMA and increased the expressions of ACE2 and Mas in the silicotic rat lung tissue and fibroblasts stimulated by Ang II. Ang(1-7) increased the levels of ACE2 and Ang(1-7) and decreased the level of Ang II in silicotic rat serum. A779 enhanced the protective effect of Ang(1-7) in fibroblasts stimulated by Ang II. Conclusion Ang(1-7) exerted protective effect on silicotic fibrosis and myofibroblast differentiation induced by Ang II by regulating ACE2-Ang(1-7)-Mas axis.

Changes in water quality from source water to finished water and tap water at two conventional drinking water treatment plants(DWTPs)were *** the routine water quality testing,Caenorhabditis elegans-based toxicity assays and the fluorescence excitation–emission matrices technique were also *** DWTPs supplied drinking water that met government *** current test conditions,both the investigated finished water and tap water samples exhibited stronger lethal,genotoxic and reprotoxic potential than the relative source water sample,and the tap water sample was more lethal but tended to be less genotoxic than the corresponding finished water ***,the nearly complete removal of tryptophan-like substances and newly generated tyrosine-like substances were observed after the treatment of drinking water,and humic-like substances were identified in the tap *** on these findings,toxic pollutants,including genotoxic/reproductive toxicants,are produced in the drinking water treatment and/or distribution ***,further studies are needed to clarify the potentially important roles of tyrosine-like and humic-like substances in mediating drinking water toxicity and to identify the potential sources of these ***,tryptophan-like fluorescence may be adopted as a useful parameter to monitor the treatment performance of *** observations provided insights into the importance of utilizing biotoxicity assays and fluorescence spectroscopy as tools to complement the routine evaluation of drinking water.

Objective Clinical characteristics and outcome in COVID-19 with brucellosis patients has not been well demonstrated,we tried to analyze clinical outcome in local and literature COVID-19 cases with brucellosis before and after *** We retrospectively collected hospitalization data of comorbid patients and prospectively followed up after discharge in Heilongjiang Infectious Disease Hospital from January 15,2020 to April29,***,epidemiological,clinical symptoms,radiological and laboratory data,treatment medicines and outcomes,and follow up were analyzed,and findings of a systematic review were *** A total of four COVID-19 with brucellosis patients were *** patient had active brucellosis before covid and 3.patients had nonactive brucellosis before *** median age was54.5 years,and all were males(100.0%).Two cases(50.0%)were moderate,and one was mild and asymptomatic,*** cases(75.0%)had at least one comorbidity(brucellosis excluded).All4 patients were found in COVID-19 nucleic acid *** C and D had only headache and fever on admission,*** cases were treated with Traditional Chinese medicine,western medicines for three cases,no adverse reaction occurred during *** patients were cured and ***,one case(25.0%)had still active brucellosis without re-positive COVID-19,and other three cases(75.0%)have no symptoms of discomfort except one case fell fatigue and anxious during the follow-up period after *** the literature review,two similar cases have been reported in two case reports,and were both recovered,whereas,no data of follow up after *** These cases indicate that COVID-19 patients with brucellosis had favorable outcome before and after *** clinical studies should be conducted to confirm our findings.
