As wave height is an important parameter in marine climate measurement,its accurate prediction is crucial in ocean *** also plays an important role in marine disaster early warning and ship design,***,challenges in the large demand for computing resources and the improvement of accuracy are currently *** resolve the above mentioned problems,sequence-to-sequence deep learning model(Seq-to-Seq)is applied to intelligently explore the internal law between the continuous wave height data output by the model,so as to realize fast and accurate predictions on wave height ***,ensemble empirical mode decomposition(EEMD)is adopted to reduce the non-stationarity of wave height data and solve the problem of modal aliasing caused by empirical mode decomposition(EMD),and then improves the prediction accuracy.A significant wave height forecast method integrating EEMD with the Seq-to-Seq model(EEMD-Seq-to-Seq)is proposed in this paper,and the prediction models under different time spans are *** with the long short-term memory model,the novel method demonstrates increased continuity for long-term prediction and reduces prediction *** experiments of wave height prediction on four buoys show that the EEMD-Seq-to-Seq algorithm effectively improves the prediction accuracy in short-term(3-h,6-h,12-h and 24-h forecast horizon)and long-term(48-h and 72-h forecast horizon)predictions.

Though numerical wave models have been applied widely to significant wave height prediction,they consume massive computing memory and their accuracy needs to be further *** this paper,a two-dimensional(2D)significant wave height(SWH)prediction model is established for the South and East China *** proposed model is trained by Wave Watch III(WW3)reanalysis data based on a convolutional neural network,the bidirectional long short-term memory and the attention mechanism(CNNBiLSTM-Attention).It adopts the convolutional neural network to extract spatial features of original wave height to reduce the redundant information input into the BiLSTM ***,the BiLSTM model is applied to fully extract the features of the associated information of time series ***,the attention mechanism is used to assign probability weight to the output information of the BiLSTM layer units,and finally,a training model is *** to 24-h prediction experiments are conducted under normal and extreme conditions,*** the normal wave condition,for 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of the correlation coefficients on the test set are 0.996,0.991,0.980,and 0.945,*** corresponding mean values of the root mean square errors are measured at 0.063 m,0.105 m,0.172 m,and 0.281 m,*** the typhoon-forced extreme condition,the model based on CNN-BiLSTM-Attention is trained by typhooninduced SWH extracted from the WW3 reanalysis *** 3-,6-,12-and 24-h forecasting,the mean values of correlation coefficients on the test set are respectively 0.993,0.983,0.958,and 0.921,and the averaged root mean square errors are 0.159 m,0.257 m,0.437 m,and 0.555 m,*** model performs better than that trained by all the WW3 reanalysis *** result suggests that the proposed algorithm can be applied to the 2D wave forecast with higher accuracy and efficiency.

Early Devonian Post-collisional Granitic Magmatism in the North Qilian Orogenic Belt,Western China:Insights into Lithospheric Delamination and Orogenic Collapse

Post-collisional magmatism contains important clues for understanding the reworking and growth of continental crust,as well as lithospheric delamination and orogenic *** Devonian magmatism has been identified in the North Qilian Orogenic Belt(NQOB).This paper reports an integrated study of petrology,whole-rock geochemistry,Sm-Nd isotope and zircon U-Pb dating,as well as Lu-Hf isotopic data,for two Early Devonian intrusive *** Yongchang and Chijin granites yield zircon U-Pb ages of 394-407 Ma and 414 Ma,*** of them are characterized by weakly peraluminous to metaluminous without typical aluminium-rich minerals,LREE-enriched patterns with negative Eu anomalies and a negative correlation between P_(2)O_(5) and SiO_(2) contents,consistent with geochemical features of I-type *** from the studied granites display negative to weak positive ε_(Hf)(t)values(−5.7 to 2.1),which agree well with those of negative ε_(Nd)(t)values(−6.4 to−2.9)for the whole-rock samples,indicating that they were derived from the partial melting of Mesoproterozoic ***,low Sr/Y ratios(1.13-21.28)and high zircon saturation temperatures(745℃ to 839℃,with the majority being>800℃)demonstrated a relatively shallow depth level below the garnet stability field and an additional heat *** together,the Early Devonian granitic magmatism could have been produced by the partial melting of ancient crustal materials heated by mantle-derived magmas at high-temperature and low-pressure conditions during postcollisional extensional *** data obtained in this study,when viewed in conjunction with previous studies,provides more information about the tectonic processes that followed the closure of the North Qilian *** tectonic transition from continental collision to post-collisional delamination could be constrained to~430 Ma,which is provided by the sudden decrease of Sr/Y and La/Yb ratios and an increase in zircon ε_(Hf)(t)values for

Cryopreservation of red blood cells(RBCs)provides great potential benefits for providing transfusion timely in *** concentrations of glycerol(20%or 40%)are used for RBC cryopreservation in current clinical practice,which results in cytotoxicity and osmotic injuries that must be carefully ***,existing studies on the low-glycerol cryopreservation of RBCs still suffer from the bottleneck of low hematocrit levels,which require relatively large storage space and an extra concentration process before transfusion,making it inconvenient(time-consuming,and also may cause injury and sample lose)for clinical *** this end,we develop a novel method for the glycerol-free cryopreservation of human RBCs with a high final hematocrit by using trehalose as the sole cryoprotectant to dehydrate RBCs and using core–shell alginate hydrogel microfibers to enhance heat transfer during *** from previous studies,we achieve the cryopreservation of human RBCs at high hematocrit(>40%)with high recovery(up to 95%).Additionally,the washed RBCs post-cryopreserved are proved to maintain their morphology,mechanics,and functional *** may provide a nontoxic,high-efficiency,and glycerol-free approach for RBC cryopreservation,along with potential clinical transfusion benefits.

Silicone rubber(SR)is widely used for cable insulation and operates in multi-stress coupling *** dielectric properties and ageing performance are the essential factors affecting cable *** this study,the frequency domain spectroscopy of unaged SR and SR aged under various conditions is *** dielectric responses before and after ageing are analysed in depth by the conjoint analysis via multiple complex planes(permittivity,conductivity,and modulus).Typical conductivity and interfacial polarisation properties,as well as property changes resulting from thermal and tensile ageing,are *** results show that tensile ageing promotes conductance and interfacial polarisation,while thermal ageing shows the opposite *** on the multi-core model and charge carrier hopping transport model,thermal and tensile ageing mechanisms on the conductance and interfacial polarisation behaviours of SR are *** behaviours exhibit positively correlated changing characteristics,suggesting that the two behaviours may originate from a common *** carrier transport process,promoted by the tensile effect and slightly suppressed by the thermal effect,is the primary factor and considered an important indicator to evaluate the dielectric properties of SR insulation.

Non-heading Chinese cabbage, a variety of Brassica campestris, is an important vegetable crop in the Yangtze River Basin of China. However,the immaturity of its stable transformation system and its low transformation efficiency limit gene function research on non-heading Chinese cabbage. Agrobacterium rhizogenes-mediated(ARM) transgenic technology is a rapid and effective transformation method that has not yet been established for non-heading Chinese cabbage plants. Here, we optimized conventional ARM approaches(one-step and two-step transformation methods) suitable for living non-heading Chinese cabbage plants in nonsterile environments. Transgenic roots in composite non-heading Chinese cabbage plants were identified using phenotypic detection, fluorescence observation, and PCR analysis. The transformation efficiency of a two-step method on four five-day-old non-heading Chinese cabbage seedlings(Suzhouqing, Huangmeigui, Wuyueman, and Sijiu Caixin) was 43.33%-51.09%, whereas using the stout hypocotyl resulted in a transformation efficiency of 54.88% for the 30-day-old Sijiu *** one-step method outperformed the two-step method;the transformation efficiency of different varieties was above 60%, and both methods can be used to obtain transgenic roots for functional studies within one month. Finally, optimized ARM transformation methods can easily,quickly, and effectively produce composite non-heading Chinese cabbage plants with transgenic roots, providing a reliable foundation for gene function research and non-heading Chinese cabbage genetic improvement breeding.

Acupotomy alleviates knee osteoarthritis in rabbit by regulating chondrocyte mitophagy via Pink1-Parkin pathway

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of acupotomy, on mitophagy and the Pink1-Parkin pathway in chondrocytes from rabbits with knee osteoarthritis(KOA).METHODS: A KOA model was established via the modified Videman method. Rabbits were randomly divided into a control group(CON), KOA group and KOA + acupotomy group(Acu). Rabbits in the acupotomy group were subjected to acupotomy for 4 weeks after model establishment. The behavior of the rabbits before and after intervention was recorded. Cartilage degeneration was evaluated by optical microscopy and fluorescence microscopy. The level of mitophagy was evaluated by transmission electron microscopy,immunofluorescence and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The expression of phosphatase and tensin homolog(PTEN)-induced kinase 1(Pink1)-Parkin mitophagy pathway components was evaluated by immunofluorescence, Western blotting and real-time polymerase chain ***: In rabbits with KOA, joint pain, mobility disorders and cartilage degeneration were observed, the Mankin score was increased, collagen type Ⅱ(Col-Ⅱ)expression was significantly decreased, mitophagy was inhibited, mitochondrial function was impaired, and factors associated with the Pink1-Parkin pathway were inhibited. Acupotomy regulated the expression of Pink1-Parkin pathway-related proteins, the mitophagy-related protein microtubule-associated protein-1 light chain-3,the translocase of the outer membrane, and the inner mitochondrial membrane 23; increased the colocalization of mitochondria and autophagosomes; promoted the removal of damaged mitochondria;restored mitochondrial adenosine-triphosphate(ATP) production;and alleviated cartilage degeneration in rabbits with ***: Acupotomy played a role in alleviating KOA in rabbits by activating mitophagy in chondrocytes via the regulation of proteins that are related to the Pink1-Parkin pathway.
