Numerous analytical models have been developed to predict ground deformations induced by tunneling,which is a critical issue in tunnel ***,the accuracy of these predictions is often limited by errors and uncertainties resulting from model selection and parameter fittings,given the paucity of monitoring data in field *** paper proposes a novel approach to estimate tunnelling-induced ground deformations by applying Bayesian model averaging to several representative prediction *** accounting for both model and parameter uncertainties,this approach enables more realistic predictions of ground deformations than individual ***,our results indicate that the Gonzalez-Sagaseta model outperforms other models in predicting ground surface settlements,while the Loganathan-Poulos model is most suitable for predicting subsurface vertical and horizontal ***,our analysis reveals that when monitoring data are sparse,model uncertainties may contribute up to 78.7%of the total ***,obtaining sufficient data for parameter fitting is crucial for accurate *** proposed method in this study offers a more realistic and efficient prediction of tunnelling-induced ground deformations.

Doxorubicin(DOX)is a commonly administered chemotherapy drug for treating hematological malignancies and solid tumors;however,its clinical application is limited by significant ***(Cyn)is a flavonoid glycoside distributed in honeysuckle,with confirmed potential biological functions in regulating inflammation,pyroptosis,and oxidative ***,the effects of Cyn were evaluated in a DOX-induced cardiotoxicity(DIC)mouse model,which was established by intraperitoneal injections of DOX(5 mg/kg)once a week for three *** mice in the treatment group received dexrazoxane,MCC950,and Cyn every two *** biochemistry,histopathology,immunohistochemistry,reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR),and western blotting were conducted to investigate the cardioprotective effects and potential mechanisms of Cyn *** results demonstrated the significant benefits of Cyn treatment in mitigating DIC;it could effectively alleviate oxidative stress to a certain extent,maintain the equilibrium of cell apoptosis,and enhance the cardiac function of *** effects were realized via regulating the transcription levels of pyroptosis-related genes,such as nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3),caspase-1,and gasdermin D(GSDMD).Mechanistically,for DOX-induced myocardial injury,Cyn could significantly modulate the expression of pivotal genes,including adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase(AMPK),peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorγcoactivator-1α(PGC-1α),sirtuin 3(SIRT3),and nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2).We attribute it to the mediation of AMPK/SIRT3/Nrf2 pathway,which plays a central role in preventing DOX-induced cardiomyocyte *** conclusion,the present study confirms the therapeutic potential of Cyn in DIC by regulating the AMPK/SIRT3/Nrf2 pathway.

Use of traditional mineral oil(MO)as a liquid insulation in transformers has spanned more than 130 ***,MO has poor heat resistance,a low ignition point,and is a non-renewable resource,which does not meet development requirements for high-performance and environmentally friendly insulation ***,researchers have explored alternatives such as natural ester(NE)and synthetic ester(SE)oils,as well as mixed insulation *** insulating oil is a blend of diverse insulating oil types,with optimal performance achieved by adjusting proportions of base *** article summarizes the innovative achievements and development of mixed insulation oil in terms of development of mixed ratio,basic physical chemical properties,electrical properties,thermal stability,and application including operation and maintenance *** these efforts,this article aims to provide recommendations for future development of mixed insulating oils to advance liquid dielectric research based on enhancement mechanisms.

While encryption technology safeguards the security of network communications,malicious traffic also uses encryption protocols to obscure its malicious *** address the issues of traditional machine learning methods relying on expert experience and the insufficient representation capabilities of existing deep learning methods for encrypted malicious traffic,we propose an encrypted malicious traffic classification method that integrates global semantic features with local spatiotemporal features,called BERT-based Spatio-Temporal Features Network(BSTFNet).At the packet-level granularity,the model captures the global semantic features of packets through the attention mechanism of the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(BERT)*** the byte-level granularity,we initially employ the Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU)model to extract temporal features from bytes,followed by the utilization of the Text Convolutional Neural Network(TextCNN)model with multi-sized convolution kernels to extract local multi-receptive field spatial *** fusion of features from both granularities serves as the ultimate multidimensional representation of malicious *** approach achieves accuracy and F1-score of 99.39%and 99.40%,respectively,on the publicly available USTC-TFC2016 dataset,and effectively reduces sample confusion within the Neris and Virut *** experimental results demonstrate that our method has outstanding representation and classification capabilities for encrypted malicious traffic.

Quantum key distribution(QKD)is a physical layer encryption technique that enables two distant parties to exchange secure keys with information-theoretic *** the last two decades,QKD has transitioned from laboratory research to real-world applications,including multi-user quantum access networks(QANs).This network structure allows users to share a single-photon detector at a network node through time-division multiplexing,thereby significantly reducing the network ***,current QAN implementations require additional hardware for auxiliary tasks such as time *** address this issue,we propose a cost-efficient QAN that uses qubit-based *** this approach,the transmitted qubits facilitate time synchronization,eliminating the need for additional synchronization *** tested our scheme by implementing a network for two users and successfully achieved average secure key rates of 53.84 kbps and 71.90 kbps for each user over a 50-km commercial fiber *** addition,we investigated the capacity of the access network under cross-talk and loss *** simulation results demonstrate that this scheme can support a QAN with 64 users with key rates up to 1070 *** work provides a feasible and cost-effective way to implement a multi-user QKD network,further promoting the widespread application of QKD.

Background:Glioblastoma multiforme(GBM)is the most general malignancy of the primary central nervous system that is characterized by high aggressiveness and *** protein 159(TMEM159)is an endoplasmic reticulum protein that can form oligomers with *** TMEM159-seipin complex decides the site of lipid droplet(LD)formation,and the formation of LDs is a marker of ***,the role of TMEM159 in the progression of GBM has not been investigated to ***:In this study,we examined the genes that may be associated with patient prognosis in GBM by bioinformatics analyses,and identified the key genes that affect the development of GBM using single-cell RNA sequencing *** biological functions of TMEM159 in GBM cells were additionally assessed by clone formation and transwell assays as well as using a model of chick embryo chorioallantois membrane(CAM)and western *** association between TMEM159 and epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)was finally analyzed in GBM ***:A prognostic model was established and validated for predicting the *** curve analysis showed a critical difference in the prognosis of the high-and low-risk groups predicted by the prognostic *** results demonstrated that TMEM159 affected the proliferation and invasion of GBM *** chick embryo CAM assays demonstrated that the inhibition of TMEM159 expression reduced angiogenesis in the CAM ***:The prognostic model achieved good predictive potential for high-risk *** findings also revealed that TMEM159 might be an important prognostic factor for GBM,indicating that the protein may be a promising therapeutic target for suppressing the development of GBM.

Reactive oxygen species(ROS)plays important roles in living *** ROS is a double-edged sword,which can eliminate drug-resistant bacteria,but excessive levels can cause oxidative damage to cells.A core–shell nanozyme,Ce O_(2)@ZIF-8/Au,has been crafted,spontaneously activating both ROS generating and scavenging functions,achieving the multifaceted functions of eliminating bacteria,reducing inflammation,and promoting wound *** Au Nanoparticles(NPs)on the shell exhibit high-efficiency peroxidase-like activity,producing ROS to kill ***,the encapsulation of Ce O_(2) core within ZIF-8 provides a seal for temporarily limiting the superoxide dismutase and catalase-like activities of Ce O_(2) ***,as the ZIF-8 structure decomposes in the acidic microenvironment,the Ce O_(2) core is gradually released,exerting its ROS scavenging activity to eliminate excess ROS produced by the Au *** two functions automatically and continuously regulate the balance of ROS levels,ultimately achieving the function of killing bacteria,reducing inflammation,and promoting wound *** innovative ROS spontaneous regulators hold immense potential for revolutionizing the field of antibacterial agents and therapies.
