With resource exploitation and engineering construction gradually going deeper,the surrounding rock dynamic disaster becomes frequent and *** anchorage support is a common control method of surrounding rock in underground *** study the dynamic damage characteristics of anchored rock and the energy absorption control mechanism of dynamic disasters,a new type of constant resistance and energy absorption(CREA)material with high strength,high elongation and high energy absorption characteristics is developed.A contrast test of rockbursts in anchored rock with different support materials is *** test results show that the surface damage rates and energy release degree of anchored rock with common bolt(CB)and CREA are lower than those of unanchored rock,*** total energy,average energy and maximum energy released by CREA anchored rock are 30.9%,94.3%and 84.4%lower than those of CB anchored *** with unanchored rock,the rockburst peak stress in the CREA anchored rock is increased by 39.9%,and the rockburst time is delayed by 53.2%.Based on the rockburst energy calculation model,the evolution law of rockburst peak stress and energy release is *** control mechanism of CREA support units on rock dynamic failure is clarified.

Fast and robust production of quantum superposition states by the fractional shortcut to adiabaticity

The fractional shortcut to adiabaticity(f-STA)for the production of quantum superposition states is proposed firstly via a three-level system with aΛ-type linkage pattern and a four-level system with a tripod *** fast and robust production of the coherent superposition states is studied by comparing the populations for the f-STA and the fractional stimulated Raman adiabatic passage(f-STIRAP).The states with equal proportions can be produced by fixing the controllable parameters of the driving pulses at the final moment of the whole *** effects of the pulse intensity and the time delay of the pulses on the production process are discussed by monitoring the populations on all of the quantum *** particular,the spontaneous emission arising from the intermediate state is investigated by the quantum master *** result reveals that the f-STA exhibits superior advantages over the f-STIRAP in producing the superposition states.

Study on static characteristics of a novel prestress-reinforced railway subgrade

Understanding the reinforcement effect of the newly developed prestressed reinforcement components(PRCs)(a system composed of prestressed steel bars(PSBs),protective sleeves,lateral pressure plates(LPPs),and anchoring elements)is technically significant for the rational design of prestressed subgrade.A three-dimensional finite element model was established and verified based on a novel static model test and utilized to systematically analyze the influence of prestress levels and reinforcement modes on the reinforcement effect of the *** results show that the PRCs provide additional confining pressure to the subgrade through the diffusion effect of the prestress,which can therefore effectively improve the service performance of the *** to the unreinforced conventional subgrades,the settlements of prestressreinforced subgrades are *** settlement attenuation rate(Rs)near the LPPs is larger than that at the subgrade center,and increasing the prestress positively contributes to the stability of the subgrade *** the multi-row reinforcement mode,the reinforcement effect of PRCs can extend from the reinforced area to the unreinforced *** addition,as the horizontal distance from the LPPs increases,the additional confining pressure converted by the PSBs and LPPs gradually diminishes when spreading to the core load bearing area of the subgrade,resulting in a decrease in the *** the singlerow reinforcement mode,PRCs can be strategically arranged according to the local areas where subgrade defects readily occurred or observed,to obtain the desired reinforcement ***,excessive prestress should not be applied near the subgrade shoulder line to avoid the shear failure of the subgrade *** can be flexibly used for preventing and treating various subgrade defects of newly constructed or existing railway lines,achieving targeted and classified prevention,and effectively improving the bearing performance and deformati

Design Considerations on Voltage and Current Transfer Ratio of High-Frequency Transformers

A high frequency(HF)transformer is key equipment for dc-dc converter to achieve galvanic isolation and voltage *** operating frequency increases,voltage and current transfer ratio of HF transformer may significantly deviate from the turn ratio due to parasitic effects,failing to transfer expected voltage and current from the primary side to the secondary *** this paper,design considerations on voltage and current transfer ratio of the HF transformer are investigated to obtain expected transfer *** revealing parasitic effects on transfer characteristic(TC)of the HF transformer with load,deviation between voltage/current transfer ratio and turn ratio is correlated with the ratio of voltage/current TC resonant frequency and operating ***,constraints for parasitic parameters to obtain expected transfer ratio are proposed,and practical measures to achieve improvements in transformer design are discussed.A 20kHz HF transformer prototype is used as an application,by which evaluations on deviation of voltage/current transfer ratio and turn ratio are verified,and voltage/current transfer performance of the prototype are effectively improved by optimal design based on the proposed principles.

Anisotropy characterization of upper shanghai clays: Shear strength and small-strain stiffness

Comprehensive investigations have been conducted to study the structure and overconsolidation of upper Shanghai clays, i.e. Layers 2–6 clays, typically located at depths of 30–40 m. However, limited information is available on their anisotropy, and even less is known about the correlation between structure, overconsolidation, and anisotropy. In this study, the undrained anisotropy characteristics of shear strength and small-strain shear stiffness in upper Shanghai Layers 2–6 clays were thoroughly assessed using a series of K0-consolidated undrained triaxial compression (TC) and triaxial extension (TE) tests (K0 is the coefficient of lateral earth pressure at rest). The effective stress paths, shear strength, and small-strain shear stiffness from the undrained TC and TE tests demonstrate the anisotropic behaviors in upper Shanghai clays. Analyses of data from upper Shanghai clays and other clays worldwide indicate that the shear strength anisotropy ratio (Ks) converges at 0.8 as the overconsolidation ratio (OCR) and plasticity index (Ip) increase, while the small-strain shear stiffness anisotropy ratio (Re) converges at 1.0. The influence of OCR on Ks and Re is more pronounced than that of Ip and sensitivity (St). Nevertheless, no clear correlation between Ks and Re is observed in upper Shanghai clays.

The alpine ecosystem has great potential for carbon *** organic carbon(SOC)and total nitrogen(TN)are highly sensitive to climate change,and their dynamics are crucial to revealing the effect of climate change on the structure,function,and services of the ***,the spatial distribution and controlling factors of SOC and TN across various soil layers and vegetation types within this unique ecosystem remain inadequately *** this study,256 soil samples in 89 sites were collected from the Three River Headwaters Region(TRHR)in China to investigate SOC and TN and to explore the primary factors affecting their distribution,including soil,vegetation,climate,and geography *** results show that SOC and TN contents in 0-20,20-40,40-60,and 60-80 cm soil layers are 24.40,18.03,14.04,12.40 g/kg and 2.46,1.90,1.51,1.17 g/kg,respectively;with higher concentrations observed in the southeastern region compared to the northwest of the ***-way analysis of variance reveals that SOC and TN levels are elevated in the alpine meadow and the alpine shrub relative to the alpine steppe in the 0-60 cm soil *** structural equation model explores that soil water content is the main controlling factor affecting the variation of SOC and ***,the geography,climate,and vegetation factors notably indirectly affect SOC and TN through soil ***,it can effectively improve soil water and nutrient conditions through vegetation restoration,soil improvement,and grazing management,and the change of SOC and TN can be fully understood by establishing monitoring networks to better protect soil carbon and nitrogen.

Dynamic Collaborative Data Download in Heterogeneous Satellite Networks

Low-earth-orbit(LEO)satellite network has become a critical component of the satelliteterrestrial integrated network(STIN)due to its superior signal quality and minimal communication ***,the highly dynamic nature of LEO satellites leads to limited and rapidly varying contact time between them and Earth stations(ESs),making it difficult to timely download massive communication and remote sensing data within the limited time *** address this challenge in heterogeneous satellite networks with coexisting geostationary-earth-orbit(GEO)and LEO satellites,this paper proposes a dynamic collaborative inter-satellite data download strategy to optimize the long-term weighted energy consumption and data downloads within the constraints of on-board power,backlog stability and time-varying ***,the Lyapunov optimization theory is applied to transform the long-term stochastic optimization problem,subject to time-varying contact time and on-board power constraints,into multiple deterministic single time slot problems,based on which online distributed algorithms are developed to enable each satellite to independently obtain the transmit power allocation and data processing decisions in ***,the simulation results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed scheme over benchmarks,e.g.,achieving asymptotic optimality of the weighted energy consumption and data downloads,while maintaining stability of the on-board backlog.

Investigations of liquid-liquid transitions in metallic melts by fast differential scanning calorimetry

Liquid-liquid transition in metallic melts is an intriguing phenomenon often confused with liquid-liquid separation, oxidation or precipitation. Here, we employ a state-of-the-art ultrafast chip-based differential scanning calorimeter to investigate the thermal behavior of six metallic melts, ranging from unary to quinary systems, at temperatures above their liquidus. Calorimetric signals of liquid-liquid transition vary across systems: Sn melts showed no direct endothermic or exothermic events, though liquid-liquid transition influenced solidification and melting temperatures, while Yb-Zn melts exhibited an exothermic peak during cooling,indicating liquid-liquid transition. Thermal signals in other systems including Li, Pd-Ni-P, Yb-Mg-Zn-Cu and Au-Ag-Pd-Cu-Si,are primarily driven by compositional changes. Our in-situ analysis provides new insights into the structural and compositional evolution of metallic melts, offering significant implications for the design and processing of novel materials.

Efficacy and safety of radiotherapy in patients with microsatellite stable or proficient mismatch repair colorectal cancer liver metastasis

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer is one of the malignant tumors with a high incidence and mortality rate globally,and the occurrence of liver metastasis significantly affects patient survival *** recent years,the application of immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)in cancer treatment has made important progress,especially showing good therapeutic effects in patients with high microsatellite instability or mismatch repair ***,for the majority of patients with microsatellite stable(MSS)or proficient mismatch repair(pMMR)colorectal cancer,the efficacy of ICIs is limited,prompting researchers to explore combination therapy strategies to improve *** drugs such as tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)and radiotherapy are believed to work synergistically with ICIs by modifying the tumor microenvironment and enhancing antigen *** To investigate the efficacy and safety of the combination therapy of radiotherapy,ICIs,and TKIs in patients with MSS or pMMR colorectal cancer liver metastasis(CCLM),in order to provide new clinical treatment *** A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 43 MSS or pMMR CCLM patients treated at our hospital from September 2021 to July *** on the treatment interventions received,the patients were divided into a control group(n=21,receiving ICIs and TKIs combination therapy)and an observation group(n=22,receiving radiotherapy,ICIs,and TKIs triple therapy).The therapeutic effects,serum tumor markers(carcinoembryonic antigen and RESULTS The disease control rate in the observation group(63.64%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(23.81%)(P<0.05)).Both groups showed a decrease in carcinoembryonic antigen and carbohydrate antigen 199 levels post-treatment,with the observation group demonstrating a more significant change(P<0.05).The median progression-free survival and median overall survival in the control group were 5.1 months and 7.6 months,respectively,
