Bioinspired Ultrasensitive Flexible Strain Sensors for Real‑Time Wireless Detection of Liquid Leakage

Liquid leakage of pipeline networks not only results in considerableresource wastage but also leads to environmental pollution and ecological *** response to this global issue, a bioinspired superhydrophobic thermoplastic polyurethane/carbon nanotubes/graphene nanosheets flexible strain sensor (TCGS) hasbeen developed using a combination of micro-extrusion compression molding andsurface modification for real-time wireless detection of liquid leakage. The TCGSutilizes the synergistic effects of Archimedean spiral crack arrays and micropores,which are inspired by the remarkable sensory capabilities of scorpions. This designachieves a sensitivity of 218.13 at a strain of 2%, which is an increase of 4300%. Additionally, it demonstrates exceptional durability bywithstanding over 5000 usage cycles. The robust superhydrophobicity of the TCGS significantly enhances sensitivity and stability indetecting small-scale liquid leakage, enabling precise monitoring of liquid leakage across a wide range of sizes, velocities, and compositionswhile issuing prompt alerts. This provides critical early warnings for both industrial pipelines and potential liquid leakage scenariosin everyday life. The development and utilization of bioinspired ultrasensitive flexible strain sensors offer an innovative and effectivesolution for the early wireless detection of liquid leakage.

The functional heterogeneity of hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs) has been comprehensively investigated by single-cell transplantation ***,the heterogeneity regarding their physiological contribution remains an open question,especially for those with life-long hematopoietic fate of rigorous selfrenewing and balanced differentiation *** this study,we revealed that Procr expression was detected principally in phenotypical vascular endothelium co-expressing DII4 and CD44 in the midgestation mouse embryos,and could enrich all the HSCs of the embryonic day 11.5(E11.5) aortagonad-mesonephros(AGM) *** then used a temporally restricted genetic tracing strategy to irreversibly label the Procr-exp res sing cells at ***,most labeled mature HSCs in multiple sites(such as AGM) around E11.5 were functionally categorized as lymphomyeloid-balanced HSCs assessed by direct ***,the labeled cells contributed to an average of 7.8% of immunophenotypically defined HSCs in E14.5 fetal liver(FL) and 6.9% of leukocytes in peripheral blood(PB) during one-year ***,in aged mice of 24 months,the embryonically tagged cells displayed constant contribution to leukocytes with no bias to myeloid or lymphoid ***,we demonstrated,for the first time,the existence of a subtype of physiologically long-lived balanced HSCs as hypothesized,whose precise embryonic origin and molecular identity await further characterization.

Prior to the generation of hematopoietic stem cells(HSCs)from the hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs)mainly in the dorsal aorta in midgestational mouse embryos,multiple hematopoietic progenitors including erythro-myeloid progenitors and lymphoid progenitors are generated from yolk sac *** HSCindependent hematopoietic progenitors have recently been identified as major contributors to functional blood cell production until ***,little is known about yolk sac ***,combining integrative analyses of multiple single-cell RNA-sequencing datasets and functional assays,we reveal that Neurl3-EGFP,in addition to marking the continuum throughout the ontogeny of HSCs from HECs,can also serve as a single enrichment marker for yolk sac ***,while yolk sac HECs have much weaker arterial characteristics than either arterial endothelial cells in the yolk sac or HECs within the embryo proper,the lymphoid potential of yolk sac HECs is largely confined to the arterial-biased subpopulation featured by the Unc5b ***,the B lymphoid potential of hematopoietic progenitors,but not for myeloid potentials,is exclusively detected in Neurl3-negative subpopulations in midgestational *** together,these findings enhance our understanding of blood birth from yolk sac HECs and provide theoretical basis and candidate reporters for monitoring step-wise hematopoietic differentiation.

Hematopoietic stem progenitor cells(HSPCs)are derived from a specialized subset of endothelial cells named hemogenic endothelial cells(HECs)via a process of endothelial-to-hematopoietic transition during ***,with the usage of multiple single-cell technologies and advanced genetic lineage tracing techniques,namely,“TIF”approaches that combining transcriptome,immunophenotype and function/fate analyses,massive new insights have been achieved regarding the cellular and molecular evolution underlying the emergence of HSPCs from embryonic vascular *** this review,we focus on the most recent advances in the enrichment markers,functional characteristics,developmental paths,molecular controls,and the embryonic site-relevance of the key intermediate cell populations bridging embryonic vascular and hematopoietic systems,namely HECs and pre-hematopoietic stem cells,the immediate progenies of some HECs,in mouse and human ***,using expression analyses at both transcriptional and protein levels and especially efficient functional assays,we propose that the onset of Kit expression is at the HEC stage,which has previously been controversial.

本研究在常规强伸仪上引入了非接触式激光测微模块直接测量单丝炭纤维拉伸时标记物的微小位移,使得新测试系统可以同时准确地测量炭纤维单丝的强度、模量和断裂应变,而无需常规方法中复杂的系统校正.通过对炭纤维T300试样的测试可知,激光测微法的准确性和稳定性优于常规测试方法,并且能清晰地检测到炭纤维在受力过程中存在的非虎克行为.结果表明,激光测微法中标记物作为纤维变形的载体成为准确测量的关键标记,应选择有较好遮光性的材料并且垂直于纤维轴粘贴,标记的测量边最好为线性,在保证一定测量范围的前提下尽可能减小标记尺寸.

Long-duration aqueous Zn-ion batteries achieved by dual-salt highly-concentrated electrolyte with low water activity

Aqueous Zn-ion batteries have attracted much attention due to their unique high safety and low-cost ***,their practical applications are at a slow pace due to their short cycle life,which fundamentally results from the instability of the positive/negative electrode interface in the traditional dilute aqueous electrolytes with high water *** highly concentrated electrolyte（HCE）has been considered as an effective *** previous studies of single salt-based HCE（SSHCE）,herein,a new dual-salt HCE（15 m ZnCl2+10 m NH4NH2SO3DS-HCE） was proposed for the first ***-HCE was proven to simultaneously possess higher conductivity than traditional dilute electrolytes and ultralow water activity of SS-HCE by the regulation of dual high-concentration salts on the solvation structure,which renders the Zn‖Zn symmetric cell the record-long cycling life of 2200 h compared with those with SS-HCE（30 m ZnCl2,300 h） and other reported ***,the Zn‖NH4V4O10full cell with DS-HCE demonstrated impressed rate capability within a wide-range current densities from 0.1 to 10 A ***,at the high current density of 5 A g-1,the full cell shows almost100% capacity retention after 4000 cycles,which indicates the promising future of the DS-HCE system for long-duration aqueous Zn-ion batteries.

Forecasting step-like landslide displacement through diverse monitoring frequencies

The precision of landslide displacement prediction is crucial for effective landslide prevention and mitigation ***,the role of surface monitoring frequency in influencing prediction accuracy has been largely *** study examined the effect of varying monitoring frequencies on the accuracy of displacement predictions by using the Baijiabao landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area(TGRA)as a case *** collected surface automatic monitoring data at different intervals,ranging from daily to *** Ensemble Empirical Mode Decomposition(EEMD)algorithm was utilized to dissect the accumulated displacements into periodic and trend components at each monitoring *** fitting was applied to forecast the trend component while the periodic component was predicted with two state-of-the-art neural network models:Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU).The predictions from these models were integrated to derive cumulative displacement forecasts,enabling a comparative analysis of prediction accuracy across different monitoring *** results demonstrate that the proposed models achieve high accuracy in landslide displacement forecasting,with optimal performance observed at moderate monitoring ***,the daily mean average error(MAE)decreases sharply with increasing monitoring frequency,reaching a *** findings were corroborated by a parallel analysis of the Bazimen landslide,suggesting that moderate monitoring intervals of approximately 7 to 15 days are most conducive to achieving enhanced prediction accuracy compared to both daily and monthly intervals.

Carbon-based foams with a three-dimensional structure can serve as a lightweight template for the rational design and control-lable preparation of metal oxide/carbon-based composite microwave absorption *** this study,a flake-like nickel cobaltate/re-duced graphene oxide/melamine-derived carbon foam(FNC/RGO/MDCF)was successfully fabricated through a combination of solvo-thermal treatment and high-temperature *** indicated that RGO was evenly distributed in the MDCF skeleton,providing ef-fective support for the load growth of FNC on its *** S3,the FNC/RGO/MDCF composite prepared by solvothermal method for 16 h,exhibited a minimum reflection loss(RL_(min))of-66.44 dB at a thickness of 2.29 *** the thickness was reduced to 1.50 mm,the optimal effective absorption bandwidth was 3.84 *** of the absorption mechanism of FNC/RGO/MDCF revealed that its excellent absorption performance was primarily attributed to the combined effects of conduction loss,multiple reflection,scattering,in-terface polarization,and dipole polarization.
