Intelligent reflecting surface-assisted federated learning in multi-platoon collaborative networks

Inspired by mobile edge computing(MEC),edge learning has gained a momentum by directly performing model training at network edge without sending massive data to a centralized data center.However,the quality of model training will be affected by the limited communication and computing resources of network edge.In this paper,how to improve the training performance of a federated learning system aided by intelligent reflecting surface(IRS)over vehicle platooning networks is studied,where multiple platoons train a shared federated learning model.Multi-platoon cooperation can alleviate the pressure of data processing caused by the limited computing resources of single platoon.Meanwhile,IRS can enhance the inter-platoon communication in a cost-effective and energy-efficient manner.Firstly,the federated learning optimization problem of maximizing the learning accuracy is formulated by jointing platoon scheduling,bandwidth allocation and phase shifts at the IRS to maximize the number of scheduled platoon.Specif-ically,in the proposed learning architecture each platoon updates the learning model with its own data and uploads it to the global model through IRS-based wireless networks.Then,a method based on sequential optimization algorithm(SOA)and a group-based optimization method are analyzed for single IRS aided and large-scale IRS aided commu-nication,respectively.Finally,a platoon scheduling scheme is designed based on the communication reliability and computing reliability of platoons.Simulation results demonstrate that large-scale IRS assisted communication can effectively improve the reliability of multi-user communication networks.The scheduling scheme based on learning reliability balances the communication performance and computing performance of platoons.

Edge computing paradigm for 5G architecture has been considered as one of the most effective ways to realize low latency and highly reliable communication,which brings computing tasks and network resources to the edge of network.The deployment of edge computing nodes is a key factor affecting the service performance of edge computing systems.In this paper,we propose a method for deploying edge computing nodes based on user location.Through the combination of Simulation of Urban Mobility(SUMO)and Network Simulator-3(NS-3),a simulation platform is built to generate data of hotspot areas in Io T scenario.By effectively using the data generated by the communication between users in Io T scenario,the location area of the user terminal can be obtained.On this basis,the deployment problem is expressed as a mixed integer linear problem,which can be solved by Simulated Annealing(SA)method.The analysis of the results shows that,compared with the traditional method,the proposed method has faster convergence speed and better performance.

The demand for building-integrated photovoltaics and portable energy systems based on flexible photovoltaic technology such as perovskite embedded with exceptional flexibility and a superior power-to-mass ratio is enormous.The photoactive layer,i.e.,the perovskite thin film,as a critical component of flexible perovskite solar cells(F-PSCs),still faces long-term stability issues when deformation occurs due to encountering temperature changes that also affect intrinsic rigidity.This literature investigation summarizes the main factors responsible for the rapid destruction of F-PSCs.We focus on long-term mechanical stability of F-PSCs together with the recent research protocols for improving this performance.Furthermore,we specify the progress in F-PSCs concerning precise design strategies of the functional layer to enhance the flexural endurance of perovskite films,such as internal stress engineering,grain boundary modification,self-healing strategy,and crystallization regulation.The existing challenges of oxygen-moisture stability and advanced encapsulation technologies of F-PSCs are also discussed.As concluding remarks,we propose our viewpoints on the large-scale commercial application of F-PSCs.

Prediction of Remaining Parking Spaces Based on EMD-LSTM-BiLSTM Neural Network

The traffic congestion caused by the mismatch between the demand of car owners and the supply of parking spaces has become one of the severe traffic problems in various places. It is important to predict the remaining parking space which can not only help the driver to plan their trips reasonably but also reduce the pressure on urban road traffic. To reduce the stochastic fluctuations of complex data and improve the predictability of parking spaces， a hybrid prediction model EMD-LSTM-BiLSTM is proposed， which is combined the adaptive ability of empirical mode decomposition (EMD) to process time series data and the advantage of long short-term memory network (LSTM) and bidirectional long short-term memory network (BiLSTM) to solve long-range dependencies. First， the EMD algorithm is employed to decompose the components of different scales in the time series and generate a series of mode functions with the same characteristic scale. Next， the construction， training， and prediction of the LSTM-BiLSTM neural network are completed in the deep learning framework Keras. BiLSTM was built for proposing the bi-directional temporal features of the sequences， and LSTM was responsible for learning the output features， which effectively avoids large prediction errors. Finally， the performance of the model is verified by the actual parking data sets of different parking lots for parking space prediction. The proposed hybrid model is compared with a variety of current mainstream deep learning algorithms， and the effectiveness of the EMD-LSTM-BiLSTM method is validated. The results may provide some potential insights for parking prediction.

Attitude control without angular velocity measurement for flexible satellites

In this paper, by using quaternion models, the problem of attitude control is investigated for a class of flexible satellites. Two control laws are presented for the considered flexible satellite models to guarantee convergence of the closed-loop systems without using angular velocity measurement. One is in the form of a partial state feedback for the case where the modal variable is available, and the other is in the form of an observer-based partial state feedback for the case where the modal variable cannot be measured. Finally, an example is employed to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed control laws.

时间是检视现代社会生活结构和质量的基本模式。博士生行动取向、学术生活和时间体验会通过时间规范、截止期限和时间规章来与整个时间系统需求进行协调和兼容。基于博士生个体叙事视角,对他们日常学术生活中的时间结构进行质性分析发现,博士生的读博旅程在时间加速下的不同阶段生成的时间体验和主观感受是不同的,分别为:阈限过渡阶段的时间积累与失序、陷入加速循环阶段的时间规训与赶工、主动走出竞速漩涡的时间自由与增能。摒弃量化、加速和竞速的时间观,探寻个体与制度环境、时间结构的共鸣关系,重构博士生的学术时间观。

2019年,随着《中共中央国务院关于建立国土空间规划体系并监督实施的若干意见》的出台,详细规划经历了从开发导向转向发展与保护相统一、从城镇建设管控转向全域国土空间用途管制、从技术理性主导转向要素市场化配置的转变。面对国土空间规划的改革,原平市抓住机遇,先行先试,开展了《原平市滨河新区控制性详细规划》的编制。文章结合《原平市滨河新区控制性详细规划》,详细介绍了原平市滨河新区控规的创新路径,包括遵循生命共同体理念、将健康风险评估融入详细规划、打造面向线上线下的社区生活圈等,以期为其他地区的相关规划提供参考。

A high efficiency and low toxicity radiosensitizer,OsN(PhenOH)Cl_3,was designed and synthesized through substituent regulation.To the best of our knowledge,this is the first osmium-based coordination complex radiosensitizer.The experimental results shown that this radiosensitizer induced G2/M cell cycle arrest mainly through induction of intracellular ROS overproduction.

Robust Semi-nonnegative matrix Factorization with Adaptive Graph Regularization for Gene Representation

Various data representation algorithms have been proposed for gene expression. There are some shortcomings in traditional gene expression methods,such as learning the ideal affinity matrix to effectively capture the geometric structure of genetic data space,and reducing noises and outliers influences of data input.We propose a novel matrix factorization algorithm called Robust semi-nonnegative matrix factorization(RSNMF)with adaptive graph regularization, which simultaneously performs matrix robust factorization with learning affinity matrix in a unified optimization framework. RSNMF also uses a loss function based on ?2,1-norm to improve the robustness of the model against noises and outliers.A novel Augmented Lagrange multiplier(ALM) is designed to obtain the optimal solution of RSNMF. The results of extensive experiments that were performed on gene expression datasets demonstrate that RSNMF outperforms the other algorithms, which validates the effectiveness and robustness of RSNMF.
