Different Acupuncture Therapies for Postherpetic Neuralgia:An Overview of Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis

Background: Postherpetic neuralgia(PHN) is the most common complication of herpes zoster infection and affects patients' quality of life. Acupuncture therapy is regarded as a competitive method of treatment for analgesia. Objective: To summarize evidence from systematic reviews(SRs) and evaluate the effectiveness and safety of different acupuncture therapies for treating PHN. Methods: Eight electronic databases were searched from their inception to August 5, 2022, including 4 international electronic databases(PubMed, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science) and 4 Chinese databases(Chinese Biomedical Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, VIP Database and Wanfang Database).Methodological quality was assessed by A Measurement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews 2(AMSTAR 2).The Risk of Bias in Systematic Review(ROBIS) tool was used to assess the risk of bias in SRs. Evidence level was assessed by the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation(GRADE)approach. Results: Totally, 7 SRs were included, including 128 studies and 9,792 patients. In AMSTAR 2, most of the SRs were of low or critically low levels since they had more than 1 critical deficiency. In ROBIS, 1 SR(14.29%)was rated as high risk, and the other 6(85.71%) were rated as low risk. In the GRADE system, 9 outcomes(28.13%)were valued as high level, 5(15.63%) as moderate level, 1(3.13%) as low, and 17(53.13%) as very low. In the effectiveness of acupuncture therapy, the group "moxibustion vs. original medical treatment" [mean difference(MD)=–1.44, 95% confidence interval(CI): –1.80 to –1.08, I2=99%, P<0.00001] was of the highest heterogeneity and the group "bloodletting vs. original medical treatment"(MD=–2.80, 95% CI: –3.14 to –2.46, I2=0, P<0.00001)was of the lowest heterogeneity. Machine learning-based grayscale analyses for lithofacies identification of the Shahejie formation, Bohai Bay Basin, China

It is of great significance to accurately and rapidly identify shale lithofacies in relation to the evaluation and prediction of sweet spots for shale oil and gas reservoirs. To address the problem of low resolution in logging curves, this study establishes a grayscale-phase model based on high-resolution grayscale curves using clustering analysis algorithms for shale lithofacies identification, working with the Shahejie Formation, Bohai Bay Basin, China. The grayscale phase is defined as the sum of absolute grayscale and relative amplitude as well as their features. The absolute grayscale is the absolute magnitude of the gray values and is utilized for evaluating the material composition(mineral composition + total organic carbon) of shale, while the relative amplitude is the difference between adjacent gray values and is used to identify the shale structure type. The research results show that the grayscale phase model can identify shale lithofacies well, and the accuracy and applicability of this model were verified by the fitting relationship between absolute grayscale and shale mineral composition, as well as corresponding relationships between relative amplitudes and laminae development in shales. Four lithofacies are identified in the target layer of the study area: massive mixed shale, laminated mixed shale, massive calcareous shale and laminated calcareous shale. This method can not only effectively characterize the material composition of shale, but also numerically characterize the development degree of shale laminae, and solve the problem that difficult to identify millimeter-scale laminae based on logging curves, which can provide technical support for shale lithofacies identification, sweet spot evaluation and prediction of complex continental lacustrine basins.

Comparative transcriptome analysis identifies key regulators of nitrogen use efficiency in chrysanthemum

Nitrogen(N)is a limiting factor that determines the yield and quality of *** variation in N use efficiency(NUE)has been reported among chrysanthemum *** performed a transcriptome analysis of two chrysanthemum genotypes,'Nannonglihuang'(LH,N-efficient genotype)and'Nannongxuefeng"(XF,N-inefficient genotype),under low N(0.4 mmol L^(-1)N)and normal N(8 mmol L^(-1)N)treatments for 15 d and an N recovery treatment for 12 h(low N treatment for 15 d and then normal N treatment for 12 h)to understand the genetic factors impacting NUE in *** two genotypes exhibited contrasting responses to the different N *** N-efficient genotype LH had significant superiority in agronomic traits,N accumulation and glutamine synthase activity under both normal N and low N *** N treatment promoted root growth in LH,but inhibited root growth in *** analysis revealed that the low N treatment increased the expression of some N metabolism genes,genes related to auxin and abscisic acid signal transduction in the roots of both genotypes,as well as genes related to gibberellin signal transduction in roots of *** N recovery treatment just increased the expression of genes related to cytokinin signal transduction in roots of *** expression levels of the NRT2.1,AMT1.1,and Gln1 genes related to gibberellin and cytokinin signal transduction were higher in roots of LH than in XF under different N treatments,suggesting that the genes related to N metabolism and hormone(auxin,abscisic acid,gibberellin,and cytokinin)signal transduction in roots of LH are more sensitive to different N treatments than those of ***-expression network analysis(WGCNA)also identified hub genes like bZIP43,bHLH93,NPF6.3,IBR10,MYB62,PP2C,PP2C06 and NLP7,which may be the key regulators of N-mediated responses in chrysanthemum and play crucial roles in enhancing NUE and resistance to low N stress in the N-efficient chrysanthemum *** results r

AIM:To investigate the effect of 0.01%low-concentration atropine(LA)on quantitative contrast sensitivity function(qCSF)in children with ***:This paired case-control study included 90 eyes of 58 children who were sex-,age-,and refractionmatched and equally divided into two groups:the 0.01%LA group had undergone 6mo use of daily 0.01%atropine and control group was naïve to *** ophthalmic examinations and qCSF test without refractive correction were *** groups were compared in monocular and binocular qCSF parameters,including the area under logCSF,CSF acuity,and contrast sensitivity(CS)at 1.0-18.0 cycle per degree(cpd).RESULTS:In the monocular comparison,the CSF acuity of the LA group was significantly higher than that of the control group(7.58±5.51 vs 6.37±4.22 cpd,P<0.05).The subgroup analysis showed that in the 6-9y group,CSF acuity was significantly higher in the LA group than the control group(8.76±6.19 vs 6.54±4.25 cpd,P<0.05),and in the Female group,low refraction sphere group,and high refraction cylinder group,the CS at high spatial frequencies(12.0 and 18.0 cpd)were significantly higher in the LA group than in the control group(all P<0.05).In the binocular test,CSF acuity and CS at 12.0 cpd were significantly higher in the LA group than in the control group(10.95±7.00 vs 8.65±5.12 cpd;0.17±0.33 vs 0.06±0.16,respectively;both P<0.05).CONCLUSION:Use of LA may result in improved CS in children with early onset myopia.

Generally speaking,the precursors of ozone(O_(3)),nitrogen oxides and volatile organic compounds are very low in desert areas due to the lack of anthropogenic emissions and natural emissions,and thus O_(3)concentrations are relatively ***,high summer background concentrations of about 100μg/m^(3)or 60 ppb were found in the Alxa Desert in the highland of northwest China based on continuous summer observations from 2019 to 2021,which was higher than the most of natural background areas or clean areas in world for summer O_(3)background *** high O_(3)background concentrations were related to surface features and ***-intensity anthropogenic activity areas in desert areas can cause increased O_(3)concentrations or pollution,but also generated O_(3)depleting substances such as nitrous oxide,which eventually reduced the regional O_(3)baseline *** dioxide(NO2)also had a dual effect on O_(3)generation,showing promotion at low concentrations and inhibition at high *** addition,sand-dust weather reduced O_(3)clearly,but O_(3)eventually stabilized around the background concentration values and did not vary with sand-dust particulate matter.

低温贮藏对猕猴桃果实成熟软化相关基因表达影响

为探究低温对果实采后成熟软化与淀粉降解的影响,以红阳猕猴桃果实为试验材料,研究在低温贮藏期间,猕猴桃果实硬度,可溶性固形物、乙烯、淀粉含量以及淀粉酶相关基因的变化。结果表明,低温贮藏能显著抑制猕猴桃果实采后成熟软化,延缓果实淀粉的降解和可溶性固形物含量的增加,维持贮藏期间果实较高的硬度。低温贮藏抑制乙烯合成关键基因AcACO1和AcACS1的表达,抑制乙烯合成。同时,低温贮藏显著抑制淀粉降解相关基因AcAMY1、AcBAM1/3、AcISA3、AcLDA1和AcDPE1的表达。在低温贮藏后期,淀粉酶相关基因AcAMY1、AcBAM1/3、AcLDA1和AcDPE1的表达与乙烯释放速率有关。综上,低温贮藏延缓猕猴桃采后成熟软化进程与淀粉降解密切相关,可能主要通过抑制乙烯合成,从而影响贮藏后期淀粉降解速率,最终延缓果实软化进程。本研究结果为猕猴桃采后低温贮藏提供了理论依据。

The expansive spectral coverage and superior optical properties of lithium niobate(LN)offer a comprehensive suite of tools for exploring novel *** high-quality(Q)photonic resonator cavities is crucial for enhancing light-matter ***,this task is challenging as the device performance is heavily dependent on the fabrication quality of the *** this paper,we present experimental validation of an etchless approach to fabricating high-Q photonic crystal nanobeam cavities(PCNBCs).We successfully fabricate PCNBCs with Q factors exceeding 105 while maintaining high transmittance by capitalizing on the low waveguide loss and high fabrication tolerance of TE-polarized ***,the Q factor achieved here exceeds previous reports on etchless LN PCNBCs by over an order of *** from this advancement,we further explore a variety of optical functions,including thermo-optic tuning,optically induced bistability,and Fano line shapes *** findings present promising prospects for a versatile platform technique,facilitating the development of high-performance electro-optic or acousto-optic modulators,optical logic devices,and quantum photonics,highlighting its significant impact in the field of photonic integration.
