Vibration quality is a vital indicator for assessing the progress of modern *** dynamic vibration absorber(DVA)based on the acoustic black hole(ABH)feature is a new passive control method that manipulates *** offers efficient energy focalization and broad-spectrum vibration suppression,making it highly promising for applications in large equipment such as aircraft,trains,and *** previous advancements in ABH-DVA development,certain challenges remain,particularly in ensuring effective coupling with host structures during *** address these issues,this study proposes a partitioned ABH-featured dynamic vibration absorber(PABH-DVA)with partitions in the radial direction of the *** employing a plate as the host structure,simulations and experiments were conducted,demonstrating that the PABH-DVA outperforms the original symmetric ABH-DVA in terms of damping *** study also calculated and compared the coupling coefficients of the two ABH-DVAs to uncover the mechanism behind the enhanced *** results revealed that the PABH-DVA exhibits more coupled modes,occasionally with lower coupling coefficients than the symmetric *** influence of frequency ratio and modal mass was further analyzed to explain the reasons behind the PABH-DVA's superior damping ***,the study discussed the impact of the number of slits and their *** research further explains the coupling mechanism between the ABH-DVA and the controlled structure,and provides new ideas for the further application of ABH in engineering.

Understanding and management of triplet excitons transition in the same molecule remain a great ***,for the first time,by host engineering,manageable transitions of triplet excitons in a naphthalimide derivative NDOH were achieved,and monitored through the intensity ratio(ITADF/IRTP)between thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)and room-temperature phosphorescence(RTP).Energy differences between lowest triplet excited states of host and guest were changed from 0.03 to 0.17 eV,and ITADF/IRTP of NDOH decreased by 200 times,thus red shifting the afterglow *** was proposed that shorter conjugation length led to larger band gaps of host materials,thus contributing to efficient Dexter and inefficient Förster energy ***,no transition to singlet state and only strongest RTP with quantum yield of 13.9%could be observed,when PBNC with loosest stacking and largest band gap acted as *** work provides novel insight for the management and prediction of triplet exciton transitions and the development of smart afterglow materials.

Lactococcus lactis and Streptococcus thermophilus are considered as ideal chassis of engineered probiotics,while food-grade genetic tools are limited in those ***,a Zn^(2+)-controlled gene expression(ZICE)system was identified in the genome of *** CGMCC7.179,including a transcriptional regulator sczAst and a promoter region of cation transporter czcD(PczcDst).Specific binding of the SczAst to the palindromic sequences in PczcDst was demonstrated by EMSA analysis,suggesting the regulation role of SczAst on *** evaluate their possibility to control gene expression in vivo,the sczAst-PczcDst was employed to drive the expression of green fluorescence protein(GFP)gene in *** NZ9000 and *** CGMCC7.179,*** of the transformants could express GFP under Zn^(2+)induction,while no fluorescence without Zn^(2+)*** optimal conditions,Zn^(2+)was used at a final concentration of 0.8 mM in *** and 0.16 mM in *** at OD600 close to 0.4,and omitting yeast extract powder in the medium unexpectedly improved GFP expression level by *** the help of the ZICE system,engineered *** and *** strains were constructed to secret cytokine interleukin-10(IL-10)with immunogenicity,and the IL-10 content in the supernatant of the engineered *** was 59.37%of that under the nisin controlled expression *** study provided a tightly controlled expression system by the food-grade inducer Zn^(2+),having potential in development of engineered probiotics.

Genome sequencing has revealed frequent mutations in Ras homolog family member A(RHOA) among various cancers with unique aberrant profiles and pathogenic effects, especially in peripheral T-cell lymphoma(PTCL). The discrete positional distribution and types of RHOA amino acid substitutions vary according to the tumor type, thereby leading to different functional and biological properties, which provide new insight into the molecular pathogenesis and potential targeted therapies for various tumors. However, the similarities and discrepancies in characteristics of RHOA mutations among various histologic subtypes of PTCL have not been fully elucidated. Herein we highlight the inconsistencies and complexities of the type and location of RHOA mutations and demonstrate the contribution of RHOA variants to the pathogenesis of PTCL by combining epigenetic abnormalities and activating multiple downstream pathways. The promising potential of targeting RHOA as a therapeutic modality is also outlined. This review provides new insight in the field of personalized medicine to improve the clinical outcomes for patients.

It has been reported that the ply gap influences the ballistic resistance of spaced multi-ply fabric systems,but its working mechanism was not well-understood. This paper reports the experimental and numerical approaches and results of an investigation on the mechanisms that enable the improved ballistic performance of spaced multi-ply systems. Penetration tests were performed over a range of impact velocities ranging from 200 m/s to 400 m/s. The results confirmed that the ply gap is beneficial to the energy absorption capability of the systems. This is because the front plies tend to absorb more energy when they are not immediately constrained by the rear plies. During a ballistic event, the gap relieves the reflection of the compressive pulse, prolonging the projectile engagement time with the front plies;on the other hand, the rear plies become increasingly less active in dissipating energy as the gap *** the gap is sufficiently widened to avoid any interference between the plies before the failure of the front ply, the responses of the whole system no longer vary. It was also found that the ballistic performance of the spaced systems is influenced by ply thickness, impact velocity, and the stacking order of the ply gap.
