A new framework based on the curved Riemannian manifold is proposed to calculate the numerical solution of the Lyapunov matrix equation by using a natural gradient descent algorithm and taking the geodesic distance as the objective function. Moreover, a gradient descent algorithm based on the classical Euclidean distance is provided to compare with this natural gradient descent algorithm. Furthermore, the behaviors of two proposed algorithms and the conventional modified conjugate gradient algorithm are compared and demonstrated by two simulation examples. By comparison, it is shown that the convergence speed of the natural gradient descent algorithm is faster than both of the gradient descent algorithm and the conventional modified conjugate gradient algorithm in solving the Lyapunov equation.

Ultrasonic phased array technology has been gradually applied to industrial nondestructive testing in recent *** sound field of the focusing and steering beam radiating from the phased array is a nonuniform distribution in the spatial position so that the echo signals of same size defects will be changed according to defect *** analyze these defects quantitatively,a model-based method for the distance amplitude correction is proposed for the phased array *** on a non-paraxial multi-Gaussian beam model and flaw scattering models,an ultrasonic measurement model for the phased array system is proposed to calculate the echo signals from side-drilled holes at different ***,these model-based distance amplitude curves are compared with the traditional experimental results for different focusing and steering *** two methods have a good agreement.

Dear Editor,By targeting the programmed cell death 1(PD-1)pathway with monoclonal antibodies(mAbs),immune checkpoint therapy(ICT)has achieved unprecedented clinical success in the treatment of multiple tumors.1,2 Cancer cells evade the host immune system via both the tolerance of T cells and functional suppression of innate immune cells.3 CD47 provides a“do not eat me”signal by binding to signal regulatory protein alpha(SIRPα)to prevent innate immune cells from attacking host cells.4 Recently,macrophages were found to restore antitumor reactivity by blocking the interaction between upregulated CD47 on tumor cells and SIRPαon innate immune cells.5 However,it remains unknown whether there are blocking“hotspots”on CD47 for mAb-based anti-CD47 therapy or additional blocking hotspot regions within CD47 for therapeutic mAb *** it is overexpressed on tumor cells,CD47 is also expressed in many normal cells,including red blood cells and platelets.6 Some validated CD47-blocking mAbs under clinical investigation induce hemagglutination and anemia.7 Thus,designing an engineered CD47-blocking antibody to exert a therapeutic effect with limited hemagglutination is needed.

Dear Editor,The emergence of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2(SARS-CoV-2)variants threatens efforts to contain the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)***(B.1.1.529),the fifth novel SARS-CoV-2 variant of concern(VOC),harbors 15 mutations in the receptor-binding domain(RBD)of the spike(S)protein.1 These mutations include almost all the sites of existing VOCs(Alpha/B.1.1.7,Beta/B.1.351,Gamma/P.1,and Delta/B.1.617.2).2–4 Importantly,the key mutations directly interact with the ACE2 receptor and constitute the main target of neutralizing antibodies(NAbs),which is believed to alter the sensitivity to a large number of NAbs.

基于振动响应的钢筋桁架叠合板的舒适度研究

为了研究应用于住宅楼楼板的钢筋桁架叠合板的振动舒适度问题,通过试验研究了整体式连接钢筋桁架叠合板在人致激励荷载作用下的振动响应。试验设计了单人行走、3人不同步行走和3人同步行走3个荷载激励,并对单人行走荷载设计了纵向行走、横向行走和对角线行走3条路径,研究分析叠合板在不同人致激励下和行走路径的振动响应;同时建立叠合板精细化有限元模型,分析板底保护层厚度、桁架高度、混凝土与钢筋密度比和模量比对叠合板自振频率的影响。结果表明:人致激励下的峰值加速度沿层高的增大而增大,荷载工况的峰值加速度由大到小依次为3人同步行走、3人不同步行走、单人行走,单人行走下峰值加速度与行走路径无关;叠合板自振频率随板底保护层厚度的增大而减小,在桁架钢筋高度为80 mm达到最大,与混凝土和钢筋密度比成反比,与混凝土和钢筋模量比成正比。

结合六轴机械手和超声无损检测技术实现自动检测,是检测自动化领域重要发展方向。超声检测要遵循运动平稳原则,检测轨迹中姿态变化较大会导致机械手速度突变,造成超声耦合不佳影响检测结果。针对上述问题,提出一种基于特殊欧几里得群信息几何结构的轨迹突变点识别方法,以轨迹当前点和前后若干点的黎曼均值差异为突变点检测依据,来预先识别出轨迹突变点,进而在这些突变点附近进行速度平滑处理。利用六轴机械手运动学反解方法验证了基于黎曼均值方法识别轨迹突变点的有效性。进一步,开展了机械手平台运动实验,识别突变点并降低邻近三点速度,使机械手各轴检测运动更加平稳。
