The facility-based production method is an important stage in the development of modern agriculture,lifting natural light and temperature restrictions and helping to improve agricultural production *** address the problems of difficulty and low accuracy in detecting pests and diseases in the dense production environment of tomato facilities,an online diagnosis platform for tomato plant diseases based on deep learning and cluster fusion was proposed by collecting images of eight major prevalent pests and diseases during the growing period of tomatoes in a facility-based *** diagnostic platform consists of three main parts:pest and disease information detection,clustering and decision-making of detection results,and platform diagnostic ***,based on the You Only Look Once(YOLO)algorithm,the key information of the disease was extracted by adding attention module(CBAM),multi-scale feature fusion was performed using weighted bi-directional feature pyramid network(BiFPN),and the overall construction was designed to be compressed and lightweight;Secondly,the k-means clustering algorithm is used to fuse with the deep learning results to output pest identification decision values to further improve the accuracy of identification applications;Finally,a detection platform was designed and developed using Python,including the front-end,back-end,and database of the system to realize online diagnosis and interaction of tomato plant pests and *** experiment shows that the algorithm detects tomato plant diseases and insect pests with mAP(mean Average Precision)of 92.7%,weights of 12.8 Megabyte(M),inference time of 33.6 *** with the current mainstream single-stage detection series algorithms,the improved algorithm model has achieved better performance;The accuracy rate of the platform diagnosis output pests and diseases information of 91.2%for images and 95.2%for *** is a great significance to tomato pest control research and t

To realize the visual navigation of agricultural robots in the complex environment of orchards,this study proposed a method for fruit tree recognition and navigation based on *** YOLOv5s model was selected and trained to identify the trunks of the left and right rows of fruit trees;the quadratic curve was fitted to the bottom center of the fruit tree recognition box,and the identified fruit trees were divided into left and right columns by using the extreme value point of the quadratic curve to obtain the left and right rows of fruit trees;the straight-line equation of the left and right fruit tree rows was further solved,the median line of the two straight lines was taken as the expected navigation path of the robot,and the path tracing navigation experiment was carried out by using the improved LQR control *** experimental results show that under the guidance of the machine vision system and guided by the improved LQR control algorithm,the lateral error and heading error can converge quickly to the desired navigation path in the four initial states of[0 m,−0.34 rad],[0.10 m,0.34 rad],[0.15 m,0 rad]and[0.20 m,−0.34 rad].When the initial speed was 0.5 m/s,the average lateral error was 0.059 m and the average heading error was 0.2787 rad for the navigation trials in the four different initial *** average driving was 5.3 m into the steady state,the average value of steady state lateral error was 0.0102 m,the average value of steady state heading error was 0.0253 rad,and the average relative error of the robot driving along the desired navigation path was 4.6%.The results indicate that the navigation algorithm proposed in this study has good robustness,meets the operational requirements of robot autonomous navigation in orchard environment,and improves the reliability of robot driving in orchard.

A silicon photonic spectrometer with multiple customized wavelength bands is developed by introducing multiple channels of wideband optical filters based on multimode waveguide gratings(MWGs)for pre-filtering and the corresponding thermally tunable narrowband filter for high *** these multiple customized wavelength bands,the central wavelengths,bandwidths,and resolutions are designed flexibly as desired,so that the system is simplified and the footprint is minimized for several practical applications(e.g.,gas sensing).A customized silicon photonic spectrometer is designed and demonstrated experimentally with four wavelength bands centered around1310 nm,1560 nm,1570 nm,and 1930 nm,which is,to the best of our knowledge,the first on-chip spectrometer available for sensing multiple gas components like HF,CO,H_(2)S,and CO_(2).The spectral resolutions of the four wavelength bands are 0.11 nm,0.08 nm,0.08 nm,and 0.37 nm,*** a customized silicon photonic spectrometer shows great potential for various applications,including gas monitors,wearable biosensors,and portable spectral-domain optical coherence tomography.

Background:Large cancer registries help analyze the prognosis of rare malignancies,such as advanced vulvar *** study aimed to compare the overall survival(OS)rates of patients with metastatic vulvar cancer who had undergone chemoradiotherapy and radiotherapy alone and identify prognostic factors using data from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results(SEER)***:In this retrospective cohort study,we used the SEER database to identify patients with metastatic vulvar cancer diagnosed between 2000 and *** score matching was performed to balance the ***–Meier curves and Cox models were used to analyze ***:A total of 685 patients were included and divided into chemoradiotherapy and radiotherapy groups,and 400 patients were included after propensity score *** chemoradiotherapy group had higher OS in the matched cohort(hazard ratio[HR]=0.7367;95%confidence interval[CI]:0.5906–0.9190;P=0.0049)than the radiotherapy group,which was similar to that in the pre-matched cohort(P<0.0001).Patients who had undergone surgeryþradiotherapy with or without chemotherapy showed higher OS rates than those who had received radiotherapy with or without chemotherapy for patients aged<75 years and local tumor excision/destruction or surgical removal of the primary site was the recommended surgical choice(P<0.05).Chemoradiotherapy is sufficient for patients 75 years of ***:Patients with metastatic vulvar cancer should undergo surgery if they can tolerate *** chemoradiotherapy should be encouraged because this treatment modality was associated with higher OS than radiotherapy alone.

Experimental determination of heat generation rates is crucial in the thermal safety design of automotive batteries. A thermal protection method(TPM) is proposed to determine the heat generation rates of 18650 cylindrical lithium-ion batteries under different discharge rates. The physical model based on the thermal protection method is established, and its feasibility is demonstrated through theoretical analysis. In the experimental setup, by introducing lateral thermal protection batteries(TPB) to minimize the heat loss of the center test battery(CTB), heat generation rates of the battery can be obtained based on the temperature change of the CTB. The average heat generation rates of the battery at 1, 2, and 3 C discharge rates are found to be0.255, 0.844, and 1.811 W, respectively, which can be quadratically correlated with the discharge rate. In addition, a benchmark test of the present measurement against the commonly used accelerating rate calorimeter(ARC) was conducted. Relatively small deviations of 3.77%, 4.20%, and 1.09% were identified in the heat generation rates for the discharge rates at 1, 2, and 3 C. In comparison with the ARC equipment, the present TPM can be more representative of the transient battery heat generation characteristics with a much shorter time for thermal equalization. Finally, to further verify the accuracy of the present method,standard samples of the same size as the actual battery were made, which were capable of controlling heat generation through a direct current power supply. A comparison of the heat inputs of the standard sample with the heat generation rates measured by the thermal protection method shows a relative deviation of 1.01% maximum. With high measurement accuracy and an easy-tobuild experimental setup, the proposed method has promising prospects in automotive applications.

Laser powder bed fusion(L-PBF)has been employed to additively manufacture WE43 magnesium(Mg)alloy biodegradable implants,but WE43 L-PBF samples exhibit excessively rapid *** this work,dense WE43 L-PBF samples were built with the relativity density reaching 99.9%.High temperature oxidation was performed on the L-PBF samples in circulating air via various heating temperatures and holding *** oxidation and diffusion at the elevated temperature generated a gradient structure composed of an oxide layer at the surface,a transition layer in the middle and the *** oxide layer consisted of rare earth(RE)oxides,and became dense and thick with increasing the holding *** matrix was composed ofα-Mg,RE oxides and Mg_(24)RE_(5) *** precipitates almost disappeared in the transition *** passivation effect was observed in the samples treated by a suitable high temperature *** original L-PBF samples lost 40%weight after 3-day immersion in Hank’s solution,and broke into fragments after 7-day *** casted and solution treated samples lost roughly half of the weight after 28-day *** high temperature oxidation samples,which were heated at 525℃ for 8 h,kept the structural integrity,and lost only 6.88%weight after 28-day *** substantially improved corrosion resistance was contributed to the gradient structure at the *** one hand,the outmost dense layer of RE oxides isolated the corrosive medium;on the other hand,the transition layer considerably inhibited the corrosion owing to the lack of ***,high temperature oxidation provides an efficient,economic and safe approach to inhibit the corrosion of WE43 L-PBF samples,and has promising prospects for future clinical applications.

The production of selenium-enriched fish can contribute to alleviating selenium deficiency in human ***,it is still unclear which selenium source,as an additive,can efficiently and costeffectively produce high-quality selenium-enriched *** study evaluated the effects of selenium nanoparticles(SeNP),selenite,and selenomethionine(SeMet)on the growth,antioxidant capacity,selenium content,selenium speciation,and meat quality of grass *** diets were prepared,including a basal diet(BD)and three concentrations(0.1,0.3,and 0.9 mg/kg)of SeNP,selenite,and SeMet.A total of600 fish(250.79±1.57 g)were randomly assigned to 30 tanks(3 tanks/group).Fish were fed the experimental diet three times daily for 60 *** this study,SeNP most significantly promoted the growth and antioxidant capacity of grass carp,with 0.3 mg/kg SeNP identified as the optimal additive ***,SeNP demonstrated equally excellent bioavailability as SeMet and significantly increased the content of SeMet in grass carp(Ctenopharyngodon idella)***,compared to SeMet and selenite,dietary SeNP could more significantly enhance the content of selenocysteine(SeCys2)and methylselenocysteine(MeSeCys)in grass carp muscle *** addition,we have demonstrated that SeCys2and MeSeCys promote apoptosis of cancer cells(HeLa)through the mitochondrial apoptotic pathway(involving Bax and Bcl-2).Furthermore,as an additive,0.3 mg/kg SeNP significantly improved the flesh quality of grass carp by reducing crude fat and heavy metal content,as well as increasing the levels of eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA)and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA)and the ratio of n-3/n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA).In summary,SeNP is the most suitable additive for producing selenium-enriched fish.

Antimicrobial photodynamic therapy(aPDT)has been considered a noninvasive and effective modality against the bacterial infection of peri‑implantitis,especially the aPDT triggered by near-infrared(NIR)light due to the large penetration depth in ***,the complexity of hypoxia microenvironments and the distance of aPDT sterilization still pose challenges before realizing the aPDT clinical *** to the long lifespan and transmission distance of therapeutic gas molecules,we design a multi-functional gas generator that combines aPDT as well as O_(2) and CO gas release function,which can solve the problem of hypoxia(O_(2))in PDT and the problem of inflammation regulation(CO)in the distal part of peri‑implant inflammation under near-infrared(NIR)*** the composite nanoplatform that spin-coated on the surface of titanium implants,up-conversion nanoparticles(UCNPs)were involved in converting the NIR to visible,which further excites the partially oxidized stannic sulfide(SnS_(2)),realizing the therapeutic gas *** green(ICG)was further integrated to enhance the aPDT performance(Ti-U@SnS_(2)/I).Therefore,reactive oxygen species(ROS),CO,and O_(2) can be controllably administered via a composite nano-platform mediated by a single NIR light(808 nm).This implant surface modification strategy could achieve great self-enhancement antibacterial effectiveness and regulate the lingering questions,such as relieving the anoxic microenvironment and reaching deep infection sites,providing a viable antibiotic-free technique to combat peri‑implantitis.
