Quantitatively distinguishing sediments from the Yangtze River and the Yellow River using δEu_N-ΣREEs plot

Sediment samples were collected from the lower channel of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River and the contents of rare earth elements (REEs) were measured. In addition, some historical REEs data were collected from published literatures. Based on the δEuN-ΣREEs plot, a clear boundary was found be-tween the sediments from the two rivers. The boundary can be described as an orthogonal polynomial equation by ordinary linear regression with sediments from the Yangtze River located above the curve and sediments from the Yellow River located below the curve. To validate this method, the REEs con-tents of sediments collected from the estuaries of the Yangtze River and the Yellow River were meas-ured. In addition, the REEs data of sediment Core 255 from the Yangtze River and Core YA01 from the Yellow River were collected. Results show that the samples from the Yangtze River estuary and Core 255 almost are above the curve and most samples from the Yellow River estuary and Core YA01 are below the curve in the δEuN-ΣREEs plot. The plot and the regression equation can be used to distin-guish sediments from the Yangtze River and the Yellow River intuitively and quantitatively, and to trace the sediment provenance of the eastern seas of China. The difference between the sediments from two rivers in the δEuN-ΣREEs plot is caused by different mineral compositions and regional climate patterns of the source areas. The relationship between δEuN and ΣREEs is changed little during the transport from the source area to the river, and from river to the sea. Thus the original information on mineral compositions and climate of the source area was preserved.

Synthesis, Post-modification and Catalytic Properties of Metal-organic Framework NH2-MIL-53（Al）

A postsynthetic modification method was used to prepare salicylaldehyde functionalized metal-organicframeworks through the nucleophilic addition of salicylaldehyde with the amine group present in the frameworks ofNH2-MIL-53（A1）. Hydroxyl groups were successfully grafted onto NI-I2-MIL-53（A1）, and imine groups were ***, these hydroxyl and imine groups of the resulting NH2-MIL-53（A1）-SA can be used as the anchoringgroup to stabilise Au^3＋ ions and Au^0 nanoparticles（NPs）. By doing this, Au^3＋ ions and Au^0 NPs were successfully en-capsulated in the cages of NH2-MIL-53（A1） by a simple impregnation method. The resulting gold functionalizedNH2-MIL-53（AI） showed good catalytic activities in the one-pot synthesis of structurally divergent propargylaminesby three-component coupling reactions of aldehydes, amines and alkynes. Various aromatic/aliphatic aldehydes, aro-matic alkynes, and piperidine were able to undergo three-component coupling on NH2-MIL-53（A1）-Au. In addition,the catalyst NH2-M/L-53（A/）-Au was recovered easily by centrifugation and reused up to four times. Thus, it can beused for the environmentally friendly synthesis ofpropargylamines.

（3,3）-Connected Three-dimentional Supramolecular Metal Organic Polyhedral Based on Nanometresized Ligand with Magnetism Properties

A three-dimentinal metal organic framework [Co2（L）CI（DMF）2（H20）]（DMF）3（H20）3 based on the nano- metresized ligand 4,4＇,4＂-[1,3,5-benzenetriyltris（carbonylimino）]trisbenzoic acid was synthesized, and characterized by means of single-crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, thermogravimetry analysis and magnetism. This obtained structure can be considered to be constructed from 2D layer, which displays the topology of hbc based on Co2（COO）3 secondary building unit, and further to be linked into a 3D suprarnolecular architecture by N--H...O hydrogen bonds. The magnetism of the complex was carried out, which shows ferromag- netic exchange interactions.

目的研究产前孕妇检查中染色体拷贝数变异(Copy Number Variation, CNV)筛查的临床意义。方法将2023年1—12月在本院产前诊断中心行羊膜腔穿刺的669例羊水样本同时进行低深度全基因组测序(Copy Number Variation Sequencing, CNV-seq)和染色体核型分析。结果送检的669例羊水样本中CNV-seq检测出21三体47例,18三体13例,13三体3例,性染色体非整倍体异常18例,这些结果与显带染色体核型分析结果一致;性染色体结构异常4例;嵌合体核型6例;致病或疑似致病CNVs 18例;临床意义未明的染色体微缺失、微重复37例,其中2例经遗传咨询终止妊娠;CNV-seq检测染色体异常检出率为16.29%(109/669),CNV-seq与核型分析两者联合检测共检出135例致病性异常,异常检出率为20.18%(135/669),比使用单一的染色体G显带核型分析高出3.44%。结论 CNV-seq在高风险孕妇产前诊断中有良好的应用价值,与核型分析相结合,有助于提高遗传性疾病的诊断,提高产前诊断水平。

Provenance of colorless and brown volcanic glass in late Pleistocene tephra layers in the Western Philippine Sea

Tephra layers in the western Philippine Sea,characterized by abundant volcanic glass shards,may provide crucial evidence on the eruption history of volcanoes and tectonic evolution of the western Pacific.A 220-ka sediment core from the Benham Rise in the western Philippine Sea offers new insights into the provenance of four intercalated tephra layers(T1–T4,in chronological order)containing either colorless or brown glass *** to primitive mantle,all glass shards are enriched in large-ion lithophile elements,such as Rb,Cs,and Pb,and depleted in high field-strength elements,such as Th,Nb,and Ta,indicating a subduction-related *** colorless glass shards are characterized by high SiO_(2)(>78%)and light rare earth element(LREE)contents as well as high La/Sm ratios(>9),low FeO and MgO contents(100),pointing to a rhyolitic composition and a medium-K calc-alkaline serial *** contrast,the brown glass shards are characterized by lower SiO_(2)(<63%)and LREE contents,higher FeO,MgO,and CaO contents,lower La/Sm(<6)and Ba/Th(<75),and similar Sr/Y ratios(<15),indicating derivation from medium to high-K calc-alkaline andesite *** glass shards from layers T3(152 ka)and T4(172 ka)were correlated with volcanic deposits from the Taal and Laguna Caldera in the Maccolod Corridor,respectively,while the colorless glass shards from layers T1(36.5 ka)and T2(61.2 ka)were likely sourced from the Irosin Caldera in the Bicol *** the provenance of late Pleistocene tephra layers in the western Philippine Sea is helpful to complement a Philippine volcanic history and establish a regional tephrochronostratigraphy.

A preliminary study on fingerprinting approach in marine sediment dynamics with the rare earth elements

Locating the quantitized natural sediment fingerprints is an important work for marine sediment dynamics *** total of 146 sediment samples were collected from the Shelf of the East China Sea and five rivers,including Huanghe （Yellow）,Changjiang （Yangtze）,Qiantang,Ou and Min *** sediment grain size and the contents of rare earth elements （REEs） were measured with laser particle size analyzer and ICP-MS *** results show that absolute REE content （ΣREE） and the concentration ratio of light REEs to heavy REEs （L/HREE） are different in the sediments among those *** are higher REE contents in being less than 2 m and 2–31 μm fractions in the Changjiang Estuary surface *** REE contents of bulk sediment are dominated by the corresponding values of those leading *** of sediment is higher close to the estuaries and declines seaward on the inner shelf of the East China Sea （ECS）.The L/HREE ratio has a tendency of increase southward from 28 ？ *** conditions plays a predominate role on spacial distributions of the surficial sediment’s REE *** some situations,the currents tend to remove the coarser light grains from initial populations,as well as the deposit of the finer heavy mineral *** other situations,the currents will change the ratio of sediment constituents,such as ratio between silts and clays in the *** a result,the various values of REE or L/HREE ratio in different bulk sediments are more affected by the change of size-fractions than source *** the long-term stable hydrodynamic environment,i.e.,the East China Sea Shelf,new sediment transport model based on the size and density gradation concept may help to understand the spatial distribution patterns of REE parameters.

Detrital sediments derived from the Philippine Islands are one of the main sources of deep-sea sediments in the western Philippine ***,systematic research on their characteristics and transport mechanisms are *** used parametric end-member analysis to quantitatively partition the grain size of detrital sediments in core MD06-3052 from the Bicol Shelf in the western Philippine Sea;three endmembers EMI,EM2,and EM3,whose respective modes were at 2,10,and 45 μm,were *** also measured the Sr and Nd isotopic compositions of different size fractions(20 μm) of the detrital sediments and the results showed that the detrital sediments mainly originate from the Philippine *** EMI and EM2 are transported to the Bicol Shelf mainly by surface and bottom currents from the islands,and component EM3 is delivered by gravity flow from the exposed shelf during low sea-level *** content of the total detrital fraction and the three end-members,as well as the mass accumulation rates(MARs) of the coarse detritus(EM2 and EM3),were considerably higher during glacial periods(40-14 ka and 150-130 ka) than during other intervals;the glacials corresponded to a low sea level,while the MAR of the fine detritus(EMI) did not increase remarkably during 40-14 *** therefore concluded that the input of coarse detritus to the Bicol Shelf from the islands was mainly controlled by sea-level *** of the input of fine-grained detritus(EM1) was influenced not only by sea level but also by ocean currents and regional ***,our results help understand "source-to-sink" processes in the western Pacific marginal seas and their response to global change.

Low-temperature processed solar cells with formamidinium tin halide perovskite/fullerene heterojunctions

A new type of lead-free, formamidinium （FA）-based halide perovskites, FASnf2Br, are investigated as light-harvesting materials for low-temperature processed p-i-n heterojunction solar cells with different configurations. The FASnlaBr perovskite, with a band-gap of 1.68 eV, exhibits optimal photovoltaic performance after low-temperature annealing at 75 ~C. By using C60 as electron-transport layer, the device yields a hysteresis-less power conversion efficiency of 1.72%. The possible use of an inorganic MoO~ film as a new type of independent hole-transport layer for the present tin-based perovskite solar cells is also demonstrated.

Diversity characterization and association analysis of agronomic traits in a Chinese peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.) mini-core collection

Association mapping is a powerful approach for exploring the molecular basis of phenotypic variations in plants. A peanut （Arachis hypogaea L.） mini-core collection in China comprising 298 accessions was genotyped using lo9 simple sequence repeat （SSR） markers, which identified 554 SSR alleles and phenotyped for 15 agronomic traits in three different environments, exhibiting abundant genetic and phenotypic diversity within the panel. A model-based structure analysis assigned all accessions to three groups. Most of the accessions had the relative kinship of less than o.05, indicating that there were no or weak relationships between accessions of the mini- core collection. For 15 agronomic traits in the peanut panel, generally the Q ＋ K model exhibited the best performance to eliminate the false associated positives compared to the Q model and the general linear model-simple model. In total, 89 SSR alleles were identified to be associated with 15 agronomic traits of three environments by the Q＋K model-based association analysis. Of these, eight alleles were repeatedly detected in two or three environments, and 15 alleles were commonly detected to be associated with multiple agronomic traits. Simple sequence repeat allelic effects confirmed significant differences between different genotypes of these repeatedly detected markers. Our results demonstrate the great potential of integrating the association analysis and marker-assisted breeding by utilizing the peanut mini-core collection.
