Free amino acid(FAA)is the important component of vinegar that infl uences quality perception and consumer *** is one of the major metabolites produced by microorganisms;however,the microbial metabolic network on FAA biosynthesis remains *** metagenomic analysis,this work aimed to elucidate the roles of microbes in FAA biosynthesis during Monascus rice vinegar *** profiles from functional analyses showed 14 dominant genera with high contributions to the metabolism *** metabolic network for FAA biosynthesis was then constructed,and the microbial distribution in different metabolic pathways was *** results revealed that 5 functional genera were closely involved in FAA *** study illuminated the metabolic roles of microorganisms in FAA biosynthesis and provided crucial insights into the functional attributes of microbiota in vinegar fermentation.

Two-dimensional systems that simultaneously harbor superconductivity and nontrivial band topology may serve as appealing platforms for realizing topological superconductivity with promising applications in fault-tolerant quantum ***,based on first-principles calculations,we show that monolayered Co n and Co P with the isovalent Fe Se-like structure are stable in freestanding form,even though their known bulk phases have no resemblance to *** two systems are further revealed to display intrinsic band inversions due to crystal field splitting,and such orderings are preserved with the inclusion of spin-orbit coupling(SOC),which otherwise is able to open a curved band gap,yielding a non-zero Z2 topological invariant in each *** a mechanism of topologicalization is distinctly contrasted with that identified recently for the closely related monolayers of CoX(X=As,Sb,Bi),where the SOC plays an indispensable role in causing a nontrivial band ***,we demonstrate that,by applying equi-biaxial tensile strain,the electron-phonon coupling strength in monolayered Con can be significantly enhanced,yielding a superconducting transition temperature(Tc)up to 7-12 K for the Coulomb pseudopotential ofμ*=0.2-0.1,while the CoP monolayer shows very low Tc even under pronounced *** different superconducting behaviors can be attributed to different variations in lattice softening and electronic density of states around the Fermi level upon *** central findings enrich the understanding of different mechanisms of band inversions and topologicalization and offer platforms for achieving the coexistence of superconductivity and nontrivial band topology based on two-dimensional systems.

The main contribution in this article is threefold:(1)we show the necessary and sufficient condition for graphs to be fractional(g,f)-covered which can be expressed in different forms,and extended to fractional(g,f,m)-covered graphs;(2)the concept of fractional-critical covered graph is put forward and its necessary and sufficient condition is given;(3)we present the degree condition for a graph to be fractional(g,f,n′,m)-critical covered,and show that degree bound is sharp when m is ***,the related result in fractional((a,b,n′,m)-critical covered setting is also verified.

The conversion of commercially available chiral sulfinamides into pharmaceutically useful chiral sulfoximines via direct SIVfunctionalization is synthetically attractive but challenging due to the competitive reaction of n-functionalization. Herein, we disclose a novel strain-release strategy to access stereospecific and chemoselective SIV-arylation and alkenylation of sulfinamides using arynes and strained cyclic alkynes. This method tolerates an unprecedented chemical diversity of functional groups attached to the nitrogen center(n-R). The origin of the high SIV-selectivity is elucidated by density functional theory calculations, suggesting a stepwise mechanism for the aryne substrates and a concerted mechanism for the cyclic alkynes.

Strong anisotropic corrosion and mechanical properties caused by specimen orientations greatly limit the applications of wrought magnesium *** investigate the influences of specimen orientation,the corrosion tests and(corrosion)fatigue crack growth tests were *** rolled and transverse surfaces of the materials show distinct corrosion rate differences in the stable corrosion stage,but the truth is the opposite for the initial stage of *** air,specimen orientations have a significant influence on the plastic deformation mechanisms near the crack tip,which results in different fatigue fracture surfaces and cracking *** with R-T specimens,n-T specimens show a slower fatigue crack growth(FCG)rate in air,which can be attributed to crack closure effects and deformation twinning near the crack *** corrosion environment will not significantly change the main plastic deformation mechanisms for the same type of ***,the FCG rate in phosphate buffer saline(PBS)is one order of magnitude higher than that in air,which is caused by the combined effects of hydrogen-induced cracking and anodic *** to the similar corrosion rates at crack tips,the specimens with different orientations display close FCG rates in PBS.

Deep learning has emerged in many practical applications,such as image classification,fault diagnosis,and object *** recently,convolutional neural networks(Cnns),representative models of deep learning,have been used to solve fault ***,the current design of Cnns for fault detection of wind turbine blades is highly dependent on domain knowledge and requires a large amount of trial and *** this reason,an evolutionary YOLOv8 network has been developed to automatically find the network architecture for wind turbine blade-based fault ***8 is a Cnn-backed object detection ***,to reduce the parameter count,we first design an improved Fasternet module based on the Partial Convolution(PConv)***,to enhance convergence performance,we improve the loss function based on the efficient complete intersection over the *** on this,a flexible variable-length encoding is proposed,and the corresponding reproduction operators are *** experimental results confirmthat the proposed approach can achieve better fault detection results and improve by 2.6%in mean precision at 50(mAP50)compared to the existing ***,compared to training with the YOLOv8n model,the YOLOBFE model reduces the training parameters by 933,937 and decreases the GFLOPS(Giga Floating Point Operations Per Second)by 1.1.

The all-optical wavelength conversion using cascaded four-wave mixing(FWM)phenomena with graphene oxide(GO)and a highly nonlinear fiber(HnLF)device is demonstrated *** has a strong third-order nonlinear effect and is an excellent nonlinear optical material for nonlinear optical wavelength *** group velocity matching of pump and signal,HnLF,and GO amplification promote the cascaded nonlinear frequency mixing *** the experimental and analytical results,the maximum spacing between signal and pump is 21 nm,and specifically,the order of cascaded FWM light increases from order 1 to order 2 with increasing GO,and the first-order FWM conversion effi-ciency increases to a maximum of−14.5 *** the best of our knowledge,this is the first time that cascaded FWM-based all-optical wavelength conversion in HnLF-GO with wide wavelength selectivity is investigated with combined pump and signal *** findings not only provide an effective method for achieving all-optical wavelength conversion in cascaded FWM but also offer the possibility of fabricating high-performance nonlinear optical devices.

Exceptional mechanical performance and macroscale superlubricity enabled by core-shell-like MoS_(2)/B_(4)C film

Molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2)) films are widely deployed in industrial applications owing to their inherent interlayer slip characteristics, offering energy consumption savings and prolonged mechanical part performance. nevertheless, their practical utility is limited by environmental constraints and the limitations of preparation techniques, which hinder the attainment of robust superlubricity(friction coefficient n, through magnetron sputtering technology, we synthesize a core-shell-like nanocomposite composed of MoS_(2)nanosheets encapsulating B_(4)C. The core-shell-like structure enables the resulting films to preferentially grow crystalline MoS_(2), providing them with outstanding mechanical properties and efficient lubrication over a wide range of temperatures. Remarkably, such film achieves robust macroscale superlubricity and an ultralow wear rate(1.7 ×10^(-8)mm^(3)n-1m^(-1)) under high contact stress in a mild vacuum environment. This noteworthy outcome is primarily attributable to the self-segmentation of the macroscale contact interface during the friction process, involving:(1) a large amount of wear debris is embedded into the wear track to create extensive micro-sized asperities;(2) a nanolayer of amorphous carbon enriched with oxide nanoparticles is formed on the uppermost part of these asperities;(3) numerous incommensurate nanocontacts comprising nanoparticles and highly oriented MoS_(2)nanosheets are established, culminating in the achievement of robust superlubricity. Our pioneering design, coupled with the elucidation of the underlying superlubricity mechanism, holds significant promise for advancing the development of robust and high-performance lubricants.
