ZrO_(2)-YO_(1.5)-TaO_(2.5)(ZYTO)is a promising top-coat material for thermal barrier coatings(TBCs).The bulk properties of ZYTO have been reported by several studies,but its performances as TBCs are less-well understood.In this work,ZYTO TBCs were prepared by air plasma spraying(APS)and their thermal cycling performances were investigated at 1150℃.Despite of the good bulk properties,APS ZYTO TBCs present an extremely short thermal fatigue life.This is attributed to the non-equilibrium grain-boundary segregation of TaO_(2.5) induced by limited solubility and rapid quenching during APS process,resulting in a tetragonal(t)to cubic(c)and metastable-tetragonal(tm)phase transformation in ZYTO TBCs.The volume shrinkage(~0.74vol%)of phase transformation leads to many cracks at the c/tm phase boundaries after deposition.On the other hand,the formation of cubic phase with massive grain-boundary Ta segregation induces a large intergranular embrittlement and a weak bonding strength(~5.3 MPa),resulting in the premature failure of the ZYTO TBCs.

Music in advertising plays a crucial role in making the audience feel beyond the multi-level visual experience.The intrinsic link between brand publicity and advertising music has long been a puzzle.This paper discusses the impact of the consistency between the emotional characteristics of music and brand personality on brand experience and expands the discussion to brand experience under market competition.We use the examples of Canon and Apple for our study.The results shows that:(1)the higher the degree of consistency between the emotional experience from music and brand personality,the greater the positive effect on brand experience;(2)this positive effect is not as significant for functional brands as it is for representative brands;(3)the consistency between the emotional experience from music and brand personality has a greater impact on brand experience for representative brands than functional brands.The results provide practical guidance for branding campaigns.

Dear Editor,Nucleic acids are responsible for storing life’s“genetic code.”Decoding nucleic acids enables scientists to understand the essence of life in depth.Anatomy is the foundation of surgery;the secrets of surgery may lie in“natural spaces.”An excellent surgeon is always following“avascular natural spaces.”Each finding of important spaces is cheering for surgeons and will probably result in a leap in the development of a series of operations.The membrane anatomy(MA)concept has been proposed against this backdrop.It has been described as the“holy plane”and“angel hair”by Dr.Richard J.Heald,who promotes the development of rectal cancer surgery.1 Significant progress has beenmade in gastrointestinal,rectal,and other surgeries based on the“membrane plane,”which shows fewer surgical complications and a better radical cure.1-3 Promisingly,the surgical era of MA is coming.However,the membrane-anatomy structures are hard to display in cadaver dissection or surgical practice.Surgeries today are still mainly based on gross anatomy from cadaver dissection and unsystematic“spaces”found in operations,resulting in a high rate of complications and variation in surgical quality.

Immunotherapies based on immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)have significantly improved patient outcomes and offered new approaches to cancer therapy over the past decade.To date,immune checkpoint inhibitors(ICIs)of CTLA-4 and PD-1/PD-L1 represent the main class of immunotherapy.Blockade of CTLA-4 and PD-1/PD-L1 has shown remarkable efficacy in several specific types of cancers,however,a large subset of refractory patients presents poor responsiveness to ICB therapy;and the underlying mechanism remains elusive.Recently,numerous studies have revealed that metabolic reprogramming of tumor cells restrains immune responses by remodeling the tumor microenvironment(TME)with various products of metabolism,and combination therapies involving metabolic inhibitors and ICIs provide new approaches to cancer therapy.Nevertheless,a systematic summary is lacking regarding the manner by which different targetable metabolic pathways regulate immune checkpoints to overcome ICI resistance.Here,we demonstrate the generalized mechanism of targeting cancer metabolism at three crucial immune checkpoints(CTLA-4,PD-1,and PD-L1)to influence ICB therapy and propose potential combined immunotherapeutic strategies co-targeting tumor metabolic pathways and immune checkpoints.

Numerical Study on Effect of Non-uniform CMAS Penetration on TGO Growth and Interface Stress Behavior of APS TBCs

The penetration of CaO-MgO-Al_(2)O_(3)-SiO_(2)(CMAS)is one of the most significant factors that induce the failure of air-plasma-sprayed thermal barrier coatings(APS TBCs).The direct penetration of CMAS changes the thermal/mechanical properties of the top coat(TC)layer,which affects the thermal mismatch stress behavior and the growth of thermally grown oxide(TGO)at the TC/bond coat(BC)interface,thereby resulting in a more complicated interface stress state.In the present study,a two-dimensional global model of APS TBCs with half of the TC layer penetrated by CMAS is established to investigate the effect of non-uniform CMAS penetration on the interface stress behavior.Subsequently,a local model extracted from the global model is established to investigate the effects of interface morphologies and CMAS penetration depth.The results show that non-uniform CMAS penetration causes non-uniform TGO growth in APS TBCs,which consequently causes the stress behavior to vary along the interface.Furthermore,the CMAS pen-etration depth imposes a significant effect on the TC/TGO interface stress behavior,whereas the interface roughness exerts a prominent effect on the stress level at the BC/TGO interface under CMAS penetration.This study reveals the mechanism associated with the effect of non-uniform CMAS penetration on the interface stress behavior in APS TBCSs.

Vehicle sensor networks(VSN)play an increasingly important part in smart city,due to the interconnectivity of the infrastructure.However similar to other wireless communications,vehicle sensor networks are susceptible to a broad range of attacks.In addition to ensuring security for both data-at-rest and data-in-transit,it is essential to preserve the privacy of data and users in vehicle sensor networks.Many existing authentication schemes for vehicle sensor networks are generally not designed to also preserve the privacy between the user and service provider(e.g.,mining user data to provide personalized services without infringing on user privacy).Controllable linkability can be used to facilitate an involved entity with the right linking key to determine whether two messages were generated by the same sender,while preserving the anonymity of the signer.Such a functionality is very useful to provide personalized services.Thus,in this paper,a threshold authentication scheme with anonymity and controllable linkability for vehicle sensor networks is constructed,and its security is analyzed under the random oracle model.

Over the past few decades, understanding of the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has improved substantially. Insights into the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in RA have enabled the discovery of new therapeutic targets and led to the development of biologics and targeted synthetic disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs. In parallel with the improvement in therapies, the evolution of strategies in the management of RA has also contributed considerably to better outcomes in patients. Major changes include the development of disease activity measures, formulation of the treat-to-target principles as well as increased attention to comorbidities. The presence of comorbidities such as cardiovascular diseases may increase the mortality of RA patients, affect their treatment strategies and result in worse outcomes. Therefore, prevention and management of certain high-risk comorbidities have become increasingly important in the long-term treatment of RA. In this study, we summarized new insights into the pathogenesis and management of rheumatoid arthritis and associated comorbidities, with a special focus on the 2021 update of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) guideline for RA and key reports presented at the 2021 ACR convergence.

Effect of Direct Aging on Corrosion Behavior of AlSi10Mg Alloy Fabricated by Laser Powder Bed Fusion

Effect of direct aging of 170℃on corrosion behavior of laser powder bed fused AlSi10Mg(LPBF-AlSi10Mg)was studied by microstructure analysis,electrochemical analysis and X-ray photoelectron spectrometer.The results show that direct aging of 170℃has little effect on melt pool and Si cellular structure,but promotes the precipitation of nano-Si particles and releases the residual stress.With increasing aging time from 0 to 4 h to 24 h,the corrosion property of the LPBF-AlSi10Mg is deteriorated,which is evidenced by increased corrosion current density and decreased pitting potential and polarization resistance.With increasing the aging time,the thickness of the oxide film formed on surface of the LPBF-AlSi10Mg increases.The Si content of the oxide film of the sample aging for 4 h is the lowest,9.42 at.%,and it is the highest,18.62 at.%,for the sample aging for 24 h.The electrochemical noise analysis reveals that the middle-frequency contribution of the Hilbert spectrum is responsible for the deteriorated corrosion performance,which corresponds to metastable pitting initiated by nano-Si particles.

This paper uses quantitative methods to estimate the size of the time buffer in lean operations controlled by the Theory of Constraints(TOC).The main focus of the operations system of TOC is the identification and management of constraints.To protect the constraints,they should be buffered with time buffers,which protecting the system’s output from disruptions and fluctuations.Despite the importance of time buffers,the approaches to identifying the size of the time buffer in literature are very empirical.In this paper,a queuing-theory based method is applied to calculate the time buffer sizes.It provides a mathematically exact expression for the coefficient of variation of waiting time for Markov queues.It then applies the concept of isomorphism to approximate the variance of customer waiting time in a general queue.Simulation experiments are conducted to verify the accuracy of approximation.
