Robust evidence for the barrier layer (BL) in the northeastern South China Sea (SCS) (16°-25°N, 112°-124°E) is presented. The occurrence rate of the BL peaks in the autumn (45.7%) and then the summer (31.1%) and the spring (23.3%), se-quently. It is estimated that the annual occurrence rate of the BL reaches about 40.0% in the central northeastern SCS (18°-22°N, 112°-120°E) and the Luzon Strait. Stratification-formed (Rain-formed) mechanism is the major factor responsible for the occurrence of the BL in the northeastern SCS in the spring (the summer and autumn), respectively. The rainfall observation from TRMM provides reliable evidence for the latter.

In this article, we focus on cyclic and negacyclic codes of length 2p^s over the ring R = Fp^m ＋ uFp^m, where p is an odd prime. On the basis of the works of Dinh （in *** 324,940-950,2010）, we use the Chinese Remainder Theorem to establish the algebraic structure of cyclic and negacyclic codes of length 2p^s over the ring Fp^m ＋ uFp^m in terms of polynomial generators. Furthermore, we obtain the number of codewords in each of those cyclic and negacyclic codes.

We proposed a graphene based active plasmonic device by the introduction of graphene-MoS_(2) heterostructures. The device was composed of a monolayer MoS_(2) layer between the silicon substrate and periodically arranged graphene nanoribbon arrays. The finite-difference time domain(FDTD) method was used to analyze and compare the changes of the surface plasmon resonant wavelength and modulation depth(MD) in the two cases with and without MoS_(2). It was found that all the parameters of the width, period and Fermi level of the graphene nanoribbons affect the surface plasmon resonant wavelength of the plasmonic device. The introduction of the monolayer MoS_(2) can produce a redshift about 3 μm of the surface plasmon resonant wavelength, while the MD is basically unchanged. The redshift of the graphene surface plasmon resonant wavelength will provide application prospects for new active graphene plasmonic devices.

In this paper, cyclic codes over the ring R = F ＋ uF ＋ vF ＋ uvF are discussed where the ring R is not a finite chain ring. By studying the polynomial ring Kn = （F ＋ uF ＋ vF ＋ uvF ）[x] / （x^n -1）and using the corresponding relationship between the cyclic codes in R and the ideals in Kn , cyclic codes over the ring R are characterized. Finally, a Gray-map is obtained and the image of cyclic codes in R is characterized.

Based on the principles of optics and radiometry, the imaging mathematical model is established and the factors of the contrast (signal-noise-ratio) of high-temperature target and the scenery are given. By analyzing not only the differences in spectral properties between objects in the scene, but also the CCD spectral response theoretically, a new method of enhancement of contrast is given. By optimizing the initial image capture stage, using liquid crystal light valve to make a simple modification of the imaging system, the goal of high-temperature object recognition is achieved. The experimental results agree with the theoretical predict.

The photoelectric properties of conductive films are improved by doping Ag on aluminum-doped zinc oxide(AZO)films by laser induced forward transfer(LIFT).Firstly,the picosecond laser induced transfer mechanism of Ag films was revealed by numerical simulation;then,different-thickness Ag films were deposited on the AZO films by picosecond *** the film thickness is 30 nm and,50 nm,we have successfully obtained some Ag-AZO films with better optoelectronic properties by adjusting the laser parameters.

Conjunctival melanoma(CM) is a rare and fatal malignant eye tumor. In this study, we deciphered a novel anti-CM mechanism of a natural tetracyclic compound named as cucurbitacin B(CuB). We found that CuB remarkably inhibited the proliferation of CM cells including CM-AS16,CRMM1, CRMM2 and CM2005.1, without toxicity to normal cells. CuB can also induce CM cells G2/M cell cycle arrest. RNA-seq screening identified KIF20A, a key downstream effector of FOXM1 pathway, was abolished by CuB treatment. Further target identification by activity-based protein profiling chemoproteomic approach revealed that GRP78 is a potential target of CuB. Several lines of evidence demonstrated that CuB interacted with GRP78 and bound with a Kdvalue of0.11 μmol/L. Furthermore, ATPase activity evaluation showed that CuB suppressed GRP78 both in human recombinant GRP78 protein and cellular lysates. Knockdown of the GRP78 gene significantly induced the downregulation of FOXM1 and related pathway proteins including KIF20A, underlying an interesting therapeutic perspective. Finally, CuB significantly inhibited tumor progression in NCG mice without causing obvious side effects in vivo. Taken together, our current work proved that GRP78-FOXM1-KIF20A as a promising pathway for CM therapy, and the traditional medicine CuB as a candidate drug to hinder this pathway.
