Due to their inherent imperfections, it is hard to use the static neural networks for nonlinear time-varying process modeling and prediction, and the minimal resource allocation network (MRAN) is difficult to be realized for its too many regulation parameters. A new sequential learning algorithm for radial basis function (RBF) neural networks based on local projection named Local Projection Network (LPN) is proposed in this paper. The results of validation for several benchmark problems with the new algorithm show that the presented LPN not only has the same level as M-RAN in network size and precision of the outputs, but also has fewer regulation parameters and is more predictable.

The CL images,LA-ICP-MS in situ trace elements analysis,and U-Pb dating for zircons indicate that the metamorphic ages of the sillimanite-garnet-biotite gneiss and the garnet-amphibole gneiss from eastern Taxkorgan of the Western Kunlun Mountains are 220±2 and 220±3 Ma respectively,and their protolith ages are younger than 253±2 and 480±8 Ma *** samples were collected at the same outcrops with HP mafic granulite and HP pelitic *** assemblage of the sillimanite-garnet-biotite gneiss(Grt+Sill+Per+Q) is consistent with that of HP pelitic granulite at early high amphibolite-granulite facies *** assemblage of the garnet-amphibole gneiss(Grt+Amp+Pl+Q) is consistent with retro-metamorphic assemblage of HP mafic granulite at amphibolite facies *** dating results suggest that these HP granulites underwent peak metamorphism at 220±2 to 253±2 ***,the Kangxiwar tectonic zone was probably formed by subduction and collision of the Paleo-Tethys Ocean during *** ages of the two samples,together with previously published U-Pb zircon dating age,suggest that the sillimanite-garnet schist-quartzite unit is a late Paleozoic unit,not a part of the Paleoproterozoic Bulunkuole Group.

Restudy on morphology of Oryctocephalus indicus (Reed, 1.1.), based on specimens from Guizhou, China and Nevada USA, suggests that the subspecies regarded previously as Oryctocephalus indicus indicus (Reed, 1.1.), O. indicus latus Zhao et Yuan 2002, and O. indicus kobayashi Saito, 1.34, are synonymous, and Oryctocephalus americanus Sundberg et McCollum, 2003 is a similar form of O. indicus. Oryctocephalus indicus is rediagnosed as having a glabella that is subconical in outline and tapering forward slightly; a thorax that comprises 1. segments, and a small pygidium that bears 2—3 axial rings with a terminal piece and a postaxial ridge. Oryctocephalus indicus is widely distributed in eastern Guizhou and ranges through a great interval of Kaili Formation. Its first appearance is almost identical with these events of trilobite extinction-recovery occurring at the end of the Early Cambrian, the alternation of acritach assemblages, the change of trace elements (REE) and stable isotopes (carbon) at the Wuliu-Zengjiaya section. As one of the key forms for defining the traditional Lower-Middle Cambrian boundary (the base of Cambrian Series 3 and Stage 5 in the new Cambrian chronstratigraphic standard), O. indicus has received detailed study and has more advantages than other species such as Ovatoryctocara granulata Tchernysheva, 1.62 or Arthricocephalus chauveaui Bergeron, 1.99.

Baotou City is an industrial city developed in the farming-grazing transitional zone in northern China. The development of industry, farming and grazing is very fast. Based on the analysis of utilization of land resources, this paper points out the main conflicts and problems on the utilization of land resources in the city, and puts forward a corresponding proposal.

In recent years,cat-state encoding and high-dimensional entanglement have attracted much ***,previous works are limited to generation of entangled states of cat-state qubits(two-dimensional entanglement with cat-state encoding),while how to prepare entangled states of cat-state qutrits or qudits(high-dimensional entanglement with cat-state encoding)has not been *** here propose to generate a maximally-entangled state of multiple cat-state qutrits(three-dimensional entanglement by cat-state encoding)in circuit *** entangled state is prepared with multiple microwave cavities coupled to a superconducting flux ququart(a four-level quantum system).This proposal operates essentially by the cavity-qutrit dispersive *** circuit hardware resource is minimized because only a coupler ququart is *** higher intermediate level of the ququart is occupied only for a short time,thereby decoherence from this level is greatly suppressed during the state ***,the state preparation time does not depend on the number of the qutrits,thus it does not increase with the number of the *** an example,our numerical simulations demonstrate that,with the present circuit QED technology,the high-fidelity preparation is feasible for a maximally-entangled state of two cat-state ***,we numerically analyze the effect of the inter-cavity crosstalk on the scalability of this *** proposal is universal and can be extended to accomplish the same task with multiple microwave or optical cavities coupled to a natural or artificial four-level atom.

Maximizing the sustainable recycling of spent lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)shows economic and environmental *** study recovered lithium cobaltate(LiCoO_(2),LCO)from spent LIBs cathode *** recovered LCO was then combined with NaHSO_(3)to remove refractory organic pollutants of carbamazepine(CBZ)in *** degradation of CBZ reached 80.0%within 60 min,by 1._(2),SO_(4),OH and O_(2)^(-)generated in the LCO/NaHSO_(3)*** electron transfer between Co(III)and Co(II)was beneficial to the generation of free *** LCO/NaHSO_(3)degraded CBZ effectively in both secondary outlet water and tap ***,high concentrations of inorganic ions(Cl^(−),HCO_(3)^(-),HPO_(4)^(2-),SO_(2)−4,NO_(3)^(-))and natural organic matter(humic acid,HA)could inhibit the degradation of *** three cycles,the stability of the LCO/NaHSO_(3)system was demonstrated by the maintained high efficiency in the degradation of *** obtained data indicate that the LCO/NaHSO_(3)system holds great application potential in the field of advanced oxidation degradation of pollutants.

Based on field observations and rheology analysis, we perform one analogue experiment and remold the 3D structural frame of Tongling deposit concentrating area firstly. Then we disassemble and dialyze the 3D structures of the model using the methods of "slicing" and "stripping". A series of sliced planes vertical to the fold hinges show similar landscapes of that in the drill hole profiles. Meanwhile, layer stripping analysis indicates that the deformation features of each layer in the model are qualitatively analogical to those obtained from field observations. Through contrasting the 3D structure between the experimental model and the field phenomena, we verify the following 3D deformation features of the caprock in this area: (1. the Tongling area mainly consists of three series of NE S-typed fold groups; (2) in the uniform stress field, the incoherent folds universally develop in different positions, along different axes as well as in different strata; (3) the faults propagate upward which are mostly inter-bedded detachment faults, while the fold amplitudes decrease while going deeper; and (4) the folds and cleavages are highly developed in the Silurian System indicating that the deformation effect of the Indosin-ian-Yanshanian structural layer terminates at this layer, which suggests that the Silurian System is the crucial layer for the inversion between brittle and plastic deformation domains and the underlying strata are subject to the control of another deformation system with distinct properties.
