Laparoscopic vs open surgery for gastric cancer: Assessing time, recovery, complications, and markers

BACKGROUND Gastric cancer(GC)is one of the most common cancers *** and mortality have increased in recent years,making it an urgent issue to ***-paroscopic radical surgery(LRS)is a crucial method for treating patients with GC;However,its influence on tumor markers is still under *** data of 194 patients treated at Chongqing University Cancer Hospital bet-ween January 2018 and January 2019 were retrospectively *** who underwent traditional open surgery and LRS were assigned to the control(n=90)and observation groups(n=104),*** sample t-tests andχ2 tests were used to compare the two groups based on clinical efficacy,changes in tumor marker levels after treatment,clinical data,and the incidence of posto-perative *** investigate the association between tumor marker levels and clinical efficacy in patients with GC,three-year recurrence rates in the two groups were *** Patients in the observation group had a shorter duration of operation,less in-traoperative blood loss,an earlier postoperative eating time,and a shorter hospital stay than those in the control group(P0.05).After treatment,the overall response rate in the control group was significantly lower than that in the observation group(P=0.001).Furthermore,after treatment,the levels of carbohydrate antigen 19-9,cancer antigen 72-4,carcinoembryonic antigen,and cancer antigen 125 decreased *** observation group also exhibited a significantly lower incidence rate of postoperative complications compared to the control group(P0.05).CONCLUSION LRS effectively treats early gastric cancer by reducing intraoperative bleeding,length of hospital stays,and postoperative complications.I

A Novel Divide and Conquer Solution for Long-term Video Salient Object Detection

Recently,a new research trend in our video salient object detection(VSOD)research community has focused on enhancing the detection results via model self-fine-tuning using sparsely mined high-quality keyframes from the given *** such a learning scheme is generally effective,it has a critical limitation,i.e.,the model learned on sparse frames only possesses weak generalization *** situation could become worse on“long”videos since they tend to have intensive scene ***,in such videos,the keyframe information from a longer time span is less relevant to the previous,which could also cause learning conflict and deteriorate the model ***,the learning scheme is usually incapable of handling complex pattern *** solve this problem,we propose a divide-and-conquer framework,which can convert a complex problem domain into multiple simple ***,we devise a novel background consistency analysis(BCA)which effectively divides the mined frames into disjoint *** for each group,we assign an individual deep model on it to capture its key attribute during the fine-tuning *** the testing phase,we design a model-matching strategy,which could dynamically select the best-matched model from those fine-tuned ones to handle the given testing *** experiments show that our method can adapt severe background appearance variation coupling with object movement and obtain robust saliency detection compared with the previous scheme and the state-of-the-art methods.

BACKGROUND Appendiceal intussusception is a pathological condition in which the appendix is inverted into the cecum,which may cause symptoms that resemble those of other gastrointestinal disorders and may induce intestinal *** rarity of this case presentation is the co-occurrence of appendiceal intussusception and cecal adenocarcinoma,a combination that to our knowledge has not previously been reported in the medical *** case provides new insights into the complexities of diagnosing and managing overlapping *** SUMMARY A 25-year-old woman presented with persistent periumbilical pain and bloody *** initial biopsy showed cecal cancer;however,subsequent colonoscopy and computed tomography findings raised the suspicion of appendiceal intussus-ception,which was later confirmed *** unique case was charac-terized by a combination of intussusception and adenocarcinoma of the *** intervention included a laparoscopic right hemicolectomy,which led to the histopathological diagnosis of mucinous adenocarcinoma with appendiceal *** patient recovered well postoperatively and was advised to initiate adjuvant *** case highlights not only the importance of considering appendiceal intussusception in the differential diagnosis,but also the possibility of appendicitis and the atypical presentation of neoplastic *** Physicians should consider the possibility of appendiceal intussusception in cases of atypical appendicitis,particularly when associated with neoplastic presentation.

The construction of a new beamline,BL10U1,was completed at the Shanghai synchrotron radiation facility in *** multipurpose beamline was designed to provide X-ray scattering techniques such as ultra-small-angle X-ray scattering(USAXS),small-angle X-ray scattering(SAXS),wide-angle X-ray scattering,and microfocus SAXS(μSAXS)for a broad user *** realize fast time-resolved USAXS experiments,the beamline adopted an in-vacuum undulator with a total length of 1.6 m as the photon *** in-house cryogenic-cooled double multilayer monochromator was installed to deliver a photon flux of approximately 10^(13) photons/s at a photon energy of 10 *** three-year successful operation of this beamline demonstrated that the monochromator operated smoothly,as ***10U1 has three end stations in succession:USAXS end station,μSAXS end station,and end station for industrial *** minimum scattering vector q~0.0042 nm^(-1) at 10 keV can be achieved at the USAXS end station equipped with a 28 m-long and 1.8 m-diameter vacuum flight *** theμSAXS end station,a beam spot of less than 10×8μm was achieved for micro-SAXS *** contrast,in situ experimental instruments up to 5 m high and 8 m wide can be mounted at the industrial application end station,which offers industrial scientists the opportunity to use their large industrial ***10U1 opens up a new capability to investigate phenomena such as non-equilibrium and dynamic processes of materials with a wide length scale from angstroms to micrometers with millisecond time *** this paper,we also report beamline design considerations and commissioning results.

Effects of carrier density and interactions on pairing symmetry in a t_(2g) model

By utilizing the fluctuation exchange approximation method,we perform a study on the superconducting pairing symmetry in a t_(2g) three-orbital model on the square *** the tight-binding parameters of the model are based on Sr_(2)RuO_(4),we have systematically studied the evolution of superconducting pairing symmetry with the carrier density and interactions,making our findings relevant to a broader range of material *** a moderate Hund’s coupling,we find that spin fluctuations dominate the superconducting pairing,leading to a prevalent spin-singlet pairing with a d_(x^(2)-y^(2))-wave symmetry for the carrier density within the range of n=1.5-4 per *** reducing the Hund’s coupling,the charge fluctuations are enhanced and play a crucial role in determining the pairing symmetry,leading to a transition of the pairing symmetry from the spin-singlet d_(x^(2)-y^(2))-wave to the spin-triplet ***,we find that the superconducting pairings are orbital *** the carrier density changes from n=4 to n=1.5,the active orbitals for superconducting pairing shift from the quasi-two-dimensional orbital dxy to the quasi-one-dimensional orbitals d_(xz) and d_(yz).

为了研究地闪频次与孕灾环境敏感性因子的相关性,将2007—2016年云南省范围内发生过地闪的区域划分为1 km×1 km格点单元,统计每个地闪格点的地闪密度、最高海拔、最大坡度和海拔标准差(地形起伏度).运用概率统计理论分析地闪格点海拔、坡度、海拔标准差的概率分布.同时,应用相关回归方法分析地闪密度与地闪格点海拔、坡度、海拔标准差正态概率密度函数的相关性,建立多元回归方程,并对方程进行验证.研究结果表明,地闪格点对应的海拔序列、坡度序列、地形起伏度序列服从正态分布;地闪密度与地闪格点海拔、坡度、海拔标准差的正态概率密度函数存在显著线性关系,其线性回归拟合结果可表征地闪孕灾环境敏感性.

大别山地区摇蚊科昆虫多样性调查研究

大别山地区动植物资源丰富,但摇蚊科昆虫还尚未见系统报道。通过对大别山地区不同生境及海拔下的摇蚊进行采集,经研究得出4亚科37属131种,摇蚊亚科Chironominae 17属83种,直突摇蚊亚科Orthocladiinae 14属38种,长足摇蚊亚科Tanypodinae 5属9种,寡角摇蚊亚科Diamesinae 1属1种。其中,中国新纪录种18种。采用Menhinick丰富度指数进行丰富度分析,摇蚊亚科中多足摇蚊属Polypedilum丰富度指数最高(m=2.25),直突摇蚊亚科中趋流摇蚊属Rheocricotopus丰富度指数最高(m=2.33)。在不同生境下摇蚊种类有着明显的差异,摇蚊亚科、直突摇蚊亚科在山间溪流生境下种类分布最多。采用Mcnaughton优势度指数对摇蚊优势度进行分析,城市湖泊生境中,中国长足摇蚊Tanypus chinensis Wang和暗绿二叉摇蚊Dicrotendipes pelochloris(Kieffer)为绝对优势种,台湾短须摇蚊Nilodorum tainanus(Kieffer)、德永雕翅摇蚊Glyptotendipes tokunagai Sasa和平铗枝角摇蚊Cladopelma edwardsi(Kruseman)为优势种。在村庄农田中,花翅摇蚊Chironomus kiiensis Tokunaga为绝对优势种,平铗枝角摇蚊、Polypedilum kyotoense(Tokunaga)和台湾短须摇蚊为优势种。在坑塘生境下,林间环足摇蚊Cricotopus sylvestris(Fabricius)为绝对优势种,蚊型前突摇蚊Procladius culiciformis(linnaeus)、中国长足摇蚊和花翅摇蚊为优势种。在山间溪流生境下,双斑环足摇蚊Cricotopus bimaculatus Tokunaga和lipiniella fujiprimus(Sasa)为优势种。随着海拔的升高摇蚊的种类会随之下降,特别是摇蚊亚科和长足摇蚊亚科表现明显。根据世界陆地动物地理分区,大别山地区摇蚊以古北+东洋种类为主;根据世界淡水动物地理区域划分,大别山摇蚊种类主要分布在中印区,占75.7%,其次是中印区+全北区;中印区中,以东亚亚区较多,共计39种,占52.7%,说明大别山地区摇蚊种类分布存在明显的集中性。本研究丰富了该地区摇蚊科昆虫的多样性,为大别山地区水质监测和生态环境研究提供了重要依据。

【目的】迷向技术是当前防控梨小食心虫(Grapholitha molesta(Busck)的主要绿色技术之一,其防控效果取决于迷向丝产品质量及施用方法。为了探究该技术在防治梨小食心虫的田间控害效果,对几种广泛使用的主流迷向丝产品进行了田间定量测定。【方法】选取有代表性的诱尔、宁录生态、神绿植保和澳福姆4种迷向丝产品,于2020年7月在烟台市莱阳市梨园按40根/667m^(2)的密度悬挂,选择2种诱捕器监测梨小食心虫种群动态,计算不同迷向丝的迷向率、蛀果/蛀梢率,同时比较2种诱捕器的诱捕效果。【结果】4种迷向丝的迷向率均高于80%,各处理区迷向丝产品的迷向效果(P>0.05)和蛀果/梢率(P>0.05)差异不显著,蛀梢率均低于3%,蛀果率均低于2%。2种监测诱捕器的诱捕结果存在显著性差异(P<0.05)。【结论】4种主流迷向丝防控效果差异不大,均能达到理想的防治效果,因此在梨园利用迷向法控制梨小食心虫是高效的绿色防控技术。

Intrinsically asymmetric atomic character regulates piezoelectricity in two-dimensional materials

Decreasing of layer thickness causes the decrease of polarization until it disappears due to the existence of depolarization ***,the search for strong piezoelectric materials is highly desirable for multifunctional ultra-thin piezoelectric ***,we propose a common strategy for achieving strong piezoelectric materials through the electronic asymmetry induced by the intrinsically asymmetric atomic character of different chalcogen ***,in the tetrahedral lattice structures,for example,M4X3Y3(M=Pd/Ni,X/Y=S,Se or Te,X≠Y)monolayers are proved to display excellent out-of-plane ***4Se3Te3 possesses the largest piezoelectric coefficient d33 of 61.57 pm/V,which is much larger than that of most 2D *** the electronic asymmetry further increases the out-of-plane piezoelectricity of Janus M4X3Y3 ***,the out-of-plane piezoelectricity is positively correlated with the ratio of electronegativity difference(Red)and the electric dipole moment(P).This work provides alternative materials for energy harvesting nano-devices or self-energized wearable devices,and supplies a valuable guideline for predicting 2D materials with strong out-of-plane piezoelectricity.
