BACKGROUND The prognosis of paediatric primary refractory/relapsed acute myeloid leukaemia(R/R AML)remains *** therapy is typically used as salvage treatment for those with R/R *** data are currently available about the use of the CLAG-M protocol as salvage therapy in paediatric patients with R/R *** SUMMARY An 8-year-old patient was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia by bone marrow morphology and *** patient showed poor response to two cycles of induction therapy with 60%blast cells in the bone marrow after the second induction *** patient achieved complete remission after being treated with the CLAG-M protocol as salvage therapy before undergoing umbilical cord blood stem cell *** complete remission with haematological recovery has hitherto been maintained over 4 *** gene mutations detected at diagnosis were undetectable after haematopoietic stem cell *** Here we present a paediatric patient with primary refractory acute myeloid leukaemia who was successfully treated with the CLAG-M *** the positive results of the presented patient,large-scale clinical studies are required to assess the role of the CLAG-M protocol in the salvage treatment of refractory or relapsed AML in childhood.

Interfacial engineering to alter the configuration of active sites in heterogeneous catalysts is a potential strategy for activity enhancement,but it remains unelucidated for metal-organic frameworks(MOFs).Here,we demonstrate that the surface of two-dimensional Co-based MOF is modified by decorating Ag quantum dots(QDs)simply through in-situ reduction of Ag+*** oxygen evolution reaction(OER),it reveals that the catalysis is mediated by the reversible redox of Co sites between Co^(3+) and Co^(4+) states coupling with transfer of OH*** decoration of Ag QDs decreases the redox potential of Co sites,and thus effectively decreases the overpotential of *** TOFs of Co sites are increased by 77 times to reach 5.4 s^(-1) at an overpotential of 0.35 *** attribute the activity enhancement to the tuning of the coupling process between Co sites and OHions during the redox of Co sites by Ag QDs decoration based on Pourbaix analysis.

Landslides are common hazards in orogenic belt ***,it is difficult to quantitatively express the driving effects of tectonic uplift and stream erosion on the occurrence of landslides on large spatial scales by conducting field *** this study,we analyzed a relatively large region that extends over the Yangbi River basin on the upper Lancang-Mekong in China.A series of quantitative indices,including kernel density of the landslide(KDL),hypsometric integral(HI),steepness index(ksn),stream power(?),and stream power gradient(ω)were used to explore the promoting effects of tectonic uplift and stream action intensity on landslides by mapping geomorphic dynamic parameters combined with actual landslide *** analysis showed that the HI value in the highest landslide risk area was approximately 0.47,and that the KDL in the region can be expressed as a function of steepness or stream power gradient of the channel network,namely,KDL=0.0127 Ln ksn-0.0167(R2=0.72,P<0.001)and KDL=0.0219 Lnω-0.0558(R2=0.21,P<0.02).Therefore,the lower reach of the Yangbi River basin,with higher steepness and stream power gradient,usually has a high uplifting rate and stream incision that drives landslides and causes the entire river network system to be in a stage of longterm active ***,the results suggest that sediments were being rapidly discharged from the steep tributary channels to the *** practical situation highlights that the downstream area of the river basin is a high-risk area for landslide hazards,especially in association with heavy rainfall and earthquakes.

The Wurinitu Mo deposit is one of the newly found molybdenum deposits in the southwestern part of the late Paleozoic–Mesozoic Erenhot–Dong-Ujimqin metallogenic belt （S-EDMB）, Inner Mongolia, China. In the present study, the mineralization age of the Wurinitu deposit is constrained to 137.3 ± 1.3 to 131.9 ± 1.5 Ma based on a combination of the laser ablation–inductively coupled plasma–mass spectrometry （LA–ICP–MS） zircon U–Pb dating of the mineralization related fine-grained monzonitic granite and the post-mineralization granite porphyry. The results of zircon Lu–Hf isotopes, combined with the geochemical characteristics of the granites in the S-EDMB, suggest that the Wurinitu Mo deposit was formed in an extensional environment in relation to the subduction of the Paleo-Pacific plate in late Mesozoic. The Wurinitu deposit shares similarities with the classical Climax-type porphyry molybdenum deposits in tectonic setting, mineral assemblages, and metal zonation.

The Tsinghua-NAOC （National Astronomical Observatories of China） Telescope （hereafter, TNT） is an 80-cm Cassegrain reflecting telescope located at the Xinglong Observatory of NAOC, with the main scientific goals of monitoring various transients in the universe such as supernovae, gamma-ray bursts, novae, variable stars, and active galactic nuclei. We present a systematic test and analysis of the photometric performance of this telescope. Based on the calibration observations taken on 12 pho- tometric nights, spanning the period from 2004 to 2012, we derived an accurate trans- formation equation between the instrumental ubvri magnitudes and standard Johnson UBV and Cousins RI magnitudes. In particular, the color terms and the extinction coefficients of different passbands are well determined. With these data, we also ob- tained the limiting magnitudes and the photometric precision of TNT. It is worthwhile to point out that the sky background at the Xinglong Observatory became gradually worse over the period from 2005 to 2012 （e.g., -21.4 mag vs. ,-20.1 mag in the V band）.

The resources and environmental problems are the two most fundamental issues facing all nations in the world. Everything in and on the Earth - minerals, animals and plants -is made from one, or generally some combination of, chemical elements, which are scientifically listed in the periodic table. Thus it is important to understand the present abundance and spatial distribution of all the elements across the Earth＇s surface. Such kinds of data can only be obtained at present and for the foreseeable future by on-earth geochemical mapping at all scales. The 30-year efforts made by Chinese geochemists in carrying out multi-element, multi-media, multi-scale geochemical mapping projects to delineate 39-76 element distribution at home and abroad culminated in a successful case of high- quality geochemical data acquirement. The new idea for a four-level plan for global geochemical mapping was advanced to obtain global data in the foreseeable future and the collection of updated geochemical information. Such information needs to be easily accessible not only by the science community, but also by industry, agriculture, governments, and even individuals, by all who would make an effort to promote sustainable riving on our planet. The concept of a Digital Element Earth （DEE） fulfills the aims.
