Optimization of nursing interventions for postoperative mental status recovery in patients with cerebral hemorrhage

BACKGROUND Hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage(HCH),the most common chronic diseases,has become a topic of global public health *** To investigate the role of rehabilitative nursing interventions in optimizing the postoperative mental status recovery phase and to provide clinical value for future rehabilitation of patients with *** This randomized controlled study included 120 patients with cerebral HCH who were contained to our neurosurgery department between May 2021–May 2023 as the *** participants have randomly sampled and grouped into the observation and control *** observation group received the rehabilitation nursing model,whereas the control group have given conventional *** conscious state of the patients was assessed at 7,14,21,and 30 d *** one month of care,sleep quality,anxiety,and depression were compared between the two *** and family satisfaction were assessed using a nursing care *** The results showed that the state of consciousness scores of the patients in both groups significantly increased(P<0.05)after surgical *** the 14th day onwards,differences in the state of consciousness scores between the two groups of patients began to appear(P<0.05).After one month of care,the sleep quality,anxiety state,and depression state of patients were significantly better in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Satisfaction with nursing care was higher in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).CONCLUSION The rehabilitation nursing model has a more complete system compared to conventional nursing,which can effectively improve the postoperative quality of life of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and improve the efficiency of mental state recovery;however,further analysis and research are needed to provide more scientific evidence.

Vermiform Ni@CNT derived from one-pot calcination of Ni-MOF precursor for improving hydrogen storage of MgH_(2)

The Ni-coated carbon nanotubes(Ni@CNT)composite was synthesized by the facile“filtration+calcination”of Ni-based metal−organic framework(MOF)precursor and the obtained composite was used as a catalyst for MgH_(2).MgH_(2)was mixed evenly with different amounts of Ni@CNT(2.5,5.0 and 7.5,wt.%)through ball *** MgH_(2)−5wt.%Ni@CNT can absorb 5.2 wt.%H_(2)at 423 K in 200 s and release about 3.75 wt.%H_(2)at 573 K in 1000 *** its dehydrogenation and rehydrogenation activation energies are reduced to 87.63 and 45.28 kJ/mol(H_(2)).The in-situ generated Mg_(2)Ni/Mg_(2)NiH4 exhibits a good catalytic effect due to the provided more diffusion channels that can be used as“hydrogen pump”.And the presence of carbon nanotubes improves the properties of MgH_(2)to some extent.

针对农村地区水资源、水环境问题,基于二元水循环理论,从自然和社会两方面系统分析了农村不同类型的水量变化规律,构建农村水资源平衡模型和农村水量计算模型。水平衡模型梳理了农村地区水资源变化规律,水量计算模型构建了不同类型水量的计算方法。利用研究区域内气象、土壤及调研数据对山西中部某典型村庄水资源量进行核算,验证水资源平衡模型的科学性。经核算,水资源平衡模型误差为3.12%,能较好地反映农村水资源输入与输出之间的关系,自然作用力下输入和输出水量占比分别为60.72%、95.27%,有更强的“自然”属性,可为提高农村地区水资源利用效率、优化农村水资源配置,解决系统性水资源问题等提供理论支持。

CeO2@NiCo2O4 nanowire arrays on carbon textiles as high performance cathode for Li-O2 batteries

The successful development of Li-O_2 battery technology depends on developing a stable and efficient cathode. As an important step toward this goal, for the first time, we report the development of CeO_2 nanoparticles modified NiCo_2O_4 nanowire arrays(NWAs) grown on the carbon textiles as a new carbon-free and binder-free cathode system. In this study, the Li-O_2 battery with the CeO_2@NiCo_2O_4 NWAs has exhibited much reduced overpotentials, a high discharge capacity, an improved cycling stability,outperforming the Li-O_2 battery with NiCo_2O_4 NWAs. These improvements can be attributed to both the tailored morphology of discharge product and improved oxygen reduction reaction(ORR) and oxygen evolution reaction(OER) activity after CeO_2 NPs deposition. To a considerable extent, this idea of cathode construction including structure design and composition optimization can provide guidance for further researches in developing more powerful cathode for Li-O_2 battery.

Highly Sensitive and Selective Amperometric Sensor for Iodate Based on 9,10-Phenanthrenequinone Derived Graphene

We reported on a new amperometric sensor for the sensitive and selective determination of iodate in table salt. The iodate sensor was constructed by the integration of a novel nanocomposite which was made from 9,10-phenanthrenequinone（PQ） and graphene（GP） with a glassy carbon electrode（GCE）. The synthesized graphene and the nanocomposite were well characterized by X-ray diffraction（XRD）, transmission electron microscopy（TEM）, Fourier transform infrared（FTIR） spectroscopy and Raman spectroscopy. We fully studied the electrochemical beha- vior and kinetic characteristics of the PQ/GP nanocomposite at GCE. The PQ/GP electrode shows a good electrochemical catalytic activity towards the reduction of iodate, which makes itself a sensitive and selective electrochemical sensor for iodate. The iodate sensor displays a high sensitivity（1.04 ***.L-1）, a low detection limit（1.0X 10-8 mol/L）, a rapid response（less than 2 s）, and a broad linear range（from 5.0X 10-8 mol/L to 6.0X 10-3 mol/L ）. In addition, the sensor is interference free. The practical application of the proposed sensor was tested by the detection of iodate in table salt.

Oxygen-assisted zinc recovery from electric arc furnace dust using magnesium chloride

Electric arc furnace(EAF)dust is an important secondary resource containing metals,such as zinc(Zn)and iron(Fe).Recover-ing Zn from EAF dust can contribute to resource recycling and reduce environmental ***,the high chemical stability of ZnFe_(2)O_(4)in EAF dust poses challenges to Zn *** address this issue,a facile approach that involves oxygen-assisted chlorination using molten MgCl_(2)is *** work focused on elucidating the role of O2 in the reaction between ZnFe_(2)O_(4)and molten MgCl_(2).The results demonstrate that MgCl_(2)effectively broke down the ZnFe_(2)O_(4)structure,and the high O2 atmosphere considerably promoted the sep-aration of Zn from other components in the form of ZnCl_(2).The presence of O2 facilitated the formation of MgFe_(2)O_(4),which stabilized Fe and prevented its ***,the excessive use of MgCl_(2)resulted in increased evaporation loss,and high temperatures pro-moted the rapid separation of *** on these findings,we successfully extracted ZnCl_(2)-enriched volatiles from practical EAF dust through oxygen-assisted *** optimized conditions,this method achieved exceptional Zn chlorination percentage of over 97%within a short period,while Fe chlorination remained below 1%.The resulting volatiles contained 85wt%of ZnCl_(2),which can be further processed to produce metallic *** findings offer guidance for the selective recovery of valuable metals,particularly from solid wastes such as EAF dust.

Changes of nitric oxide synthase and cyclic guanosine mono-phosphate in form deprivation myopia in guinea pigs

Background The form deprivation （FD） reduces spatial contrasts and induces myopia. Nitric oxide and cyclic guanosine monophosphate （cGMP） are involved in visual signal transmission. This study investigated changes in nitric oxide synthase （NOS） activity and cGMP concentration in ocular tissues in acute and chronic form deprivation myopia. Methods Guinea pigs had one eye covered by translucent glass for 7, 14 or 21 days. Untreated litter mates were used as controls. NOS activity and cGMP concentrations in the retinal, choroidal and scleral tissues of FD eyes and control eyes were analyzed by radioimmunoassay after various durations of FD. The expression of NOS subtypes was identified by immunohistochemistry. Results Myopia was successfully induced in FD eyes after 14 days. Compared with control groups, the retinal NOS activity and cGMP concentrations in the FD eyes significantly increased after 14 and 21 days while the retinal NOS activity in the FD eyes was transiently suppressed by 7 days of FD. The NOS activity and cGMP concentrations of choroid and sclera in the FD eyes were higher than in the control groups at 21 days. The three isoenzymes of nitric oxide synthase were detected in the ocular tissues of guinea pigs. Conclusions The NOS activity and cGMP concentrations were upregulated after chronic FD and the retinal NOS activity was transiently suppressed at acute FD. The function of elevated NOS activity may be mediated by cGMP.

Effects of the initiation position on the damage and fracture characteristics of linear-charge blasting in rock

To study the effects of the initiation position on the damage and fracture characteristics of linear-charge blasting, blasting model experiments were conducted in this study using computed tomography scanning and three-dimensional reconstruction methods. The fractal damage theory was used to quantify the crack distribution and damage degree of sandstone specimens after blasting. The results showed that regardless of an inverse or top initiation, due to compression deformation and sliding frictional resistance, the plugging medium of the borehole is effective. The energy of the explosive gas near the top of the borehole is consumed. This affects the effective crushing of rocks near the top of the borehole, where the extent of damage to Sections Ⅰ and Ⅱ is less than that of Sections Ⅲ and Ⅳ. In addition, the analysis revealed that under conditions of top initiation, the reflected tensile damage of the rock at the free face of the top of the borehole and the compression deformation of the plug and friction consume more blasting energy, resulting in lower blasting energy efficiency for top initiation. As a result, the overall damage degree of the specimens in the top-initiation group was significantly smaller than that in the inverse-initiation group. Under conditions of inverse initiation, the blasting energy efficiency is greater, causing the specimen to experience greater damage. Therefore, in the engineering practice of rock tunnel cut blasting, to utilize blasting energy effectively and enhance the effects of rock fragmentation, using the inverse-initiation method is recommended. In addition, in three-dimensional(3D) rock blasting, the bottom of the borehole has obvious end effects under the conditions of inverse initiation, and the crack distribution at the bottom of the borehole is trumpet-shaped. The occurrence of an end effect in the 3D linear-charge blasting model experiment is related to the initiation position and the blocking condition.

Zn Accumulation and Subcellular Distribution in the Zn Hyperaccumulator Sedurn alfredii Hance

Zn accumulation and subcellular distribution in leaves of the hyperaccumulating ecotype （HE） and non-hyperaccumulating ecotype （NHE） of Sedum alfredii Hance were studied using radiotracer and gradient centrifugation techniques. Leaf Zn accumulation in the HE of S. alfredii was 18.5-26.7 times greater than that in the NHE when the plants were grown at 1-500μmol Zn L-1. Leaf section uptake of 65Zn was highly dependent on external Zn levels. Greater 65Zn uptake in HE was noted only at external Zn levels 〉 100μmol L-1. Zinc subcellular distribution in the leaves of the two ecotypes of S. alfredii was： cell wall 〉 soluble fraction 〉 cell organelle. However, more Zn was distributed to the leaf cell wall and soluble fractions for HE than for NHE. In the leaf of HE, 91%-94% of the Zn was found in the cell walls and the soluble fraction and only 6%-9% Zn was distributed in the cell organelle fraction. For NHE, about 20%-26% Zn was recovered in the cell organelle fraction. In stems, Zn distribution to the ceil wail fraction was approximately two fold greater in the HE than that in the NHE. For the hyperaccumulating ecotype of S. alfredii, the cell wall and the vacuole played a very important role in Zn tolerance and hyperaccumulation.
