We propose a resistors,inductors and capacitors(RLC)electrical circuit to theoretically analyze and fully simulate a new type of non-Hermitian Su-Schrieffer-Heeger(SSH)model with complex *** formulate its construction and investigate its properties by taking advantage of the circuit’s *** physical properties can be identified in this system from the normal modes of oscillation of the RLC circuit,including the highly tunable bulk-edge correspondence between topological winding numbers and edge states and the non-Hermitian skin phenomenon originating from a novel complex energy plane *** present study is able to show the wide and appealing topological physics inherent to electric circuits,which is readily generalizable to a plenty of both Hermitian and non-Hermitian nontrivial systems.

Forkhead box protein 3 mRNA expression in the peripheral blood of kidney-transplant recipients with acute rejection

Background Regulatory T cells （Tregs） are immunologically and clinically interesting not least because of the important role they play in allograft rejection. Likewise, expression of the transcription factor forkhead box protein 3 （FOXP3）, detected in transplant biopsies, is also of intere.（;t because of its role in the development of regulatory T cells. In this study, we investigated the relationship between FoxP3 mRNA expression and acute organ rejection in kidney-transplant recipients. Methods In this prospective study, FoxP3 mRNA expression levels in peripheral blood samples from 10 recipients of living relative-donor kidney transplants were measured before transplantation as well as at the 14th and 90th days post-transplantation. In addition, 46 first-time kidney-transplant recipients participated in a cross-sectional study, with 28 patients classified as having acute organ rejection; whilst the remaining 18 patients had functionally stable allografts. FoxP3 mRNA expression levels in peripheral blood samples were compared between these two different groups. Results Before transplantation mean FoxP3 mRNA levels vs. GADPH mRNA levels （Ig（FoxP3 mRNA/GADPH mRNA）） in the 10 recipients were 1.11±0.67. The mean FoxP3 mRNA expression levels measured at 14th and 90th days post-transplantation were significantly higher than before transplantation （1.69±0.38, P=0.03; 1.44±0.21, P=0.04, respectively）. Additionally, the mean FoxP3 mRNA levels vs. GADPH mRNA expression levels （Ig（FoxP3 mRNA/GADPH mRNA）） were significantly higher in recipients suffering acute rejection compared with those with stable allografts （1.77±0.61 and 1.43±0.27, respectively, P=0.03）. Conclusions After kidney transplantntion, FoxP3 mRNA levels were found to increase in the peripheral blood of all recipients. One new bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid, neferine N-oxide （1）, along with three known compounds, neferine （2）, liensinine （3）, and isoliensinine （4）, were isolated from Plumulanelumbinis - the embryo of the seed of Nelumbonucifera. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analysis （MS, UV, IR, NMR）, and the absolute configurations were determined by experimental circulardichroism （CD） spectra. Compound 1 is a new naturally occurring bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid with an N-oxide functionality, and the CD spectrum of （1R, 1＇R） neferine is first reported. The antioxidant activities of compounds 1-4 were evaluated using the ORAC assay, which illustrated that all these compounds showed the different levels of oxygen radical absorbance capacity.

We have studied the topology and epidemic spreading behaviors on the networks in which deactivation mechanism and long-rang connection are coexisted. By means of numerical simulation, we find that the clustering coefficient C and the Pearson correlation coefficient r decrease with increasing long-range connection μ and the topological state of the network changes into that of BA model at the end （when μ = 1）. For the Susceptible-Infect-Susceptible model of epidemics, the epidemic threshold can reach maximum value at μ = 0.4 and presents two different variable states around μ= 0.4.

Background Malignant tumor is the most common complication occurred in transplant recipients. It is widely recognized that immunosuppressive treatments increase the risk of cancer in transplant recipients. The efficacy and safety of rapamycin （RPM） in combination with low-dose calcineurin inhibitor （CNI） in treating 15 renal allograft recipients which developed urothelial carcinoma were observed.Methods Immunosuppressive regimen in all recipients was altered with rapamycin to replace mycophenolate mofetil （MMF） or azathioprine （Aza）. The initial loading dosage was 2 mg/d, and the next dosage was 1 mg/d. The dosage of rapamycin was carefully adjusted according to the blood drug level and concentration of the drug was maintained at 4-6 μg/L. In all the 15 patients, the calcineurin inhibitor was reduced down to one third of the original dosage after the rapamycin blood concentration became stable. Surgical treatment and intravesical instillation chemotherapy were carried out in all patients. Recurrence of the tumor was monitored throughout the study. Post-transplant renal function and side effects were also closely monitored.Results Among the 15 patients, 9 had no tumor recurrence in 2 years, 2 had tumor recurrences twice, and 4 had once. There was no acute rejection observed during RPM treatment. Post-transplant renal function in 11 patients was improved with a decreased creatinine level. Hyperlipoidemia and thrombocytopenia were the most frequent adverse events which responded well to corresponding treatments.Conclusion Among the renal allograft recipients with urothelial carcinoma, combination of rapamycin and low dose calcineurin inhibitor treatment is effective and safe.

The stemness of different side population(SP)cell subtypes in ovarian cancer cells was studied,and the heterogeneity of ovarian cancer stem cells was *** cisplatin-resistant human serous ovarian cancer cell line C13 was stained with the bisbenzimide Hoechst 33342.A flow cytometry-based fluorescence-activated sorting method was used to obtain lower-SP(LSP)cells,upper-SP(USP)cells,and non-SP cells(NSP)based on their sensitivity to the staining time and Hoechst dye *** sphere-forming capability,expression levels of stem cell markers,resistance to high concentrations of cisplatin,and subcutaneous tumorigenicity in NOD/SCID mice of the different cell subtypes were *** C13 cells contained SP cells with stemness characteristics,and the LSP cell subtype expressed higher levels of stem cell markers,had higher in vitro sphere-forming capability,higher cisplatin resistance and higher in vivo subcutaneous tumorigenesis than USP cells(P<0.05).NSP cells had no *** conclusion,different subtypes of ovarian cancer SP cells have different stemness levels,and ovarian cancer stem cells may be heterogeneous.
