Transient Voltage Support Strategy of Grid-forming Medium Voltage Photovoltaic Converter in the LCC-HVDC System

The participation of photovoltaic(PV)plants in supporting the transient voltage caused by commutation failure in the line-commutated-converter-based high voltage direct current(LCC-HVDC)system is of great significance,as it can enhance the DC transmission ***,it is found that the gridfollowing(GFL)PV converters face the problem of mismatch between reactive power response and transient voltage characteristic when the voltage converts from low voltage to overvoltage,further aggravating the overvoltage ***,this article proposes a transient voltage support strategy based on the gridforming(GFM)medium voltage PV *** proposed strategy takes the advantage of the close equivalent electrical distance between the converter and grid,which can autonomously control the converter terminal voltage through GFM control with adaptive voltage droop *** simulation results show that the proposed strategy can ensure the output reactive power of the PV converter quickly matches the transient voltage characteristic at different stages,indicating that the proposed strategy can effectively support the transient voltage.

A novel efficient Cu_(2)WS_(4)/MoS_(2) step-scheme(S-scheme)heterojunction photocatalyst was constructed for the first time and applied in the removal of environmental *** the as-prepared photocatalysts,the Cu_(2)WS_(4)/MoS_(2)-8%heterojunc tion photoc atalyst demonstrates the optimal photocatalytic performance,with the catalytic oxidation efficiency of tetracycline(TC)and the catalytic reduction efficiency of Cr^(6+)reaching 93.3%and 82.1%,*** excellent catalytic properties of Cu_(2)WS_(4)/MoS_(2) heterojunction photocatalysts are attributed to the effective separation pathways of charges and the presence of S-scheme heterojunctions,together with stronger redox *** is speculated that the photogenerated carrier migration path of the Cu_(2)WS_(4)/MoS_(2) catalyst follows the typical S-scheme photocatalytic mechanism,which is verified by the in-depth experimental study and simulated calculations including the electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)analysis,free radical quenching experiments,charge density distribution,and simulated built-in electric field formation at the interface,which acts as driving force to promote the separation of photoinduced electrons and ***,the photocatalytic mechanism of S-scheme photogenerated carrier migration for the Cu_(2)WS_(4)/MoS_(2) catalyst is revealed based on the systematic experimental techniques and simulated calculations,accounting for its superior photocatalytic oxidation and reduction *** study provides inspiring implications to develop high-efficient S-scheme photocatalytic systems for versatile applications in solarenergy conversion.

Perovskites have attracted extensive attention as radiation detection material due to their long carrier diffusion length and lifetime, high absorption coefficient, and flexible manufacturing process. Compared with polycrystalline structures, single crystal perovskites improve the performance of optoelectronic devices due to their low defect state density, better photoelectric characteristics, and chemical ***, we review the recent progress of single crystal perovskite X-ray detectors. First, we briefly introduced the basic concepts, detection mechanisms, figure of merits of perovskite X-ray detectors, and the preparation methods of single crystal perovskites. Then, we summarized the significant advancements in single crystal perovskite X-ray detectors in recent times. Finally, we discussed the critical challenges and some practicable solutions for developing high-performance X-ray detectors.

Precisely defining and mapping all cytosine(C)positions and their clusters,known as CpG islands(CGIs),as well as their methylation status,are pivotal for genome-wide epigenetic studies,especially when population-centric reference genomes are ready for timely ***,we first align the two high-quality reference genomes,T2T-YAO and T2T-CHM13,from different ethnic backgrounds in a base-by-base fashion and compute their genome-wide density-defined and position-defined ***,by mapping some representative genome-wide methylation data from selected organs onto the two genomes,we find that there are about 4.7%–5.8%sequence divergency of variable categories depending on quality *** among the divergent sequences are mostly associated with neurological ***,CGIs associated with the divergent sequences are significantly different with respect to CpG density and observed CpG/expected CpG(O/E)ratio between the two ***,we find that the T2T-YAO genome not only has a greater CpG coverage than that of the T2T-CHM13 genome when whole-genome bisulfite sequencing(WGBS)data from the European and American populations are mapped to each reference,but also shows more hyper-methylated CpG sites as compared to the T2T-CHM13 *** study suggests that future genome-wide epigenetic studies of the Chinese populations rely on both acquisition of high-quality methylation data and subsequent precision CGI mapping based on the Chinese T2T reference.

BACKGROUND Biliary tract cancers(BTCs)are a heterogeneous group of tumors with high malignancy,poor prognosis,and limited treatment *** To explore the efficacy and safety of nab-paclitaxel plus capecitabine as first-line treatment for advanced and metastatic *** This open-label,non-randomized,double-center,phase II clinical trial recruited systemic therapy-naive patients with unresectable or metastatic BTCs between April 2019 and june 2022 at Beijing Cancer Hospital and the First Hospital of China Medical *** patients were administered nab-paclitaxel(150 mg/m^(2),day 1)and capecitabine(2000 mg/m^(2),twice daily,days 1-7)in 14-day cycles until experiencing intolerable toxicity or disease *** primary outcome was the objective response rate(ORR).The secondary outcomes included the disease control rate(DCR),overall survival(OS),progression-free survival(PFS),and *** A total of 44 patients successfully completed the trial,with a median age of 64.00 years(interquartile range,35.00-76.00),and 26(59.09%)were *** response assessment was impeded for one patient due to premature demise from tumor *** the remaining 43 patients undergoing at least one imaging assessment,the ORR was 23.26%[95%confidence interval(CI):11.80%-38.60%],and the DCR was 69.77%(95%CI:53.90%-82.80%).The median OS was 14.1 months(95%CI:8.3-19.9),and the median PFS was 4.4 months(95%CI:2.5-6.3).A total of 41 patients(93.18%)experienced at least one adverse event(AE),with 10 patients(22.73%)encountering grade≥3 AEs,and the most frequent AEs of any grade were alopecia(79.50%),leukopenia(54.55%),neutropenia(52.27%),and liver dysfunction(40.91%),and no treatment-related deaths were *** Nab-paclitaxel plus capecitabine may be an effective and safe first-line treatment strategy for patients with advanced or metastatic BTCs.

Impact factors and pathways of halonitromethanes formation from aspartic acid during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection

Light emitting diode (LED-UV)/chlorine disinfection can replace UV/chlorine disinfection in wastewater treatment plants and water supply plants. Halonitromethanes (HNMs) are a class of novel nitrogenous disinfection by-products, which are characterized by higher cytotoxicity and genotoxicity than regulated disinfection by-products. Herein, the impact factors and pathways of HNMs formation from aspartic acid (ASP) were investigated during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. The results showed that three types of chlorinated-HNMs (Cl-HNMs) were found during LED-UV265/chlorine disinfection, and their concentrations increased first and then declined as the reaction progressed. Cl-HNMs yields increased with increasing LED-UV_(265) intensity, free chlorine dosage, and ASP concentration, which declined with increasing pH (6.0–8.0). Meantime, the important impact of the coexisting ions contained in water matrices on HNMs formation from ASP was observed during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. It was found that copper ions (Cu^(2+)) promoted Cl-HNMs formation. Furthermore, when bromide (Br–) appeared during LED-UV265/chlorine disinfection, nine types of HNMs were detected simultaneously. Moreover, Br– not only converted Cl-HNMs toward brominated (chlorinated)-HNMs and brominated-HNMs but also showed a marked effect on HNMs concentrations and species. Subsequently, the possible pathways of HNMs formation from ASP were proposed during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection. At last, it was proved that the formation trends of HNMs obtained in the real waters were similar to those in simulated waters. This work elaborated on the influence factors and pathways of HNMs formation, which is conducive to controlling the HNMs produced during LED-UV_(265)/chlorine disinfection.

Given the difficulties in rescuing and ensuring the quality of long-term climate data,current studies on century-scale climate change are usually limited to annual and monthly data,resulting in the poor detection of extreme climate events and their changes before *** this study,we reconstructed a daily precipitation series for Tianjin from 15 September 1887 to 31 December 2022 on the basis of the most comprehensive daily precipitation records collected from the Tianjin Meteorological Archive,China,and in reference to the precipitation analysis results based on the datasets developed by the Climatic Research Unit Time-Series version 4.06,Global Precipitation Climatology Centre and University of Delaware along with the application of various homogenisation methods for climate *** approach provides a complete and reliable century-long daily precipitation series for the study of regional or local extreme weather and climate *** reconstructed daily dataset reveals that the annual precipitation amount and R95 intensity in Tianjin during 1888-2022 lack significant trends and have values of 0.74±6.99 and-1.84±3.22 mm per decade,*** the annual and seasonal scales,the precipitation amount and R95 intensity,particularly those in autumn,have increased since the latter half of the 20th century relative to those in ***,the increase in precipitation amount and R95 intensity is relatively limited compared with that in atmospheric water vapour content due to surface warming,indicating the highly sensitive response of extreme precipitation events to *** addition,the estimates for the return periods of 5,10,20,50 and 100 years covering 1888-2022,1888-1950 and 1951-2022 depict that the intensity of heavy rain and above magnitude was highest in 1888-1950 and decreased in 1951-2022.
