MHD Control of Oblique Detonation Waves

Based on the Euler equation, the hybrid Roe/HLL scheme is employed to simulate the oblique detonation waves （ODWs）. Furthermore, ***）＇namic （MHD） control of both stable and unstable ODWs is investigated. It is shown that the stable ODW wave front can be controlled to the desired position under different inflow Mach numbers. However, for an unstable ODW, it is difficult for the MHD control to return the ODW front, but the unstable ODW turns to be stable with the Lorentz force applied in proper direction.

Tensor data have been widely used in many fields,e.g.,modern biomedical imaging,chemometrics,and economics,but often suffer from some common issues as in high dimensional *** to find their low-dimensional latent structure has been of great interest for *** this end,we develop two efficient tensor sufficient dimension reduction methods based on the sliced average variance estimation(SAVE)to estimate the corresponding dimension reduction *** first one,entitled tensor sliced average variance estimation(TSAVE),works well when the response is discrete or takes finite values,but is not■consistent for continuous response;the second one,named bias-correction tensor sliced average variance estimation(CTSAVE),is a de-biased version of the TSAVE *** asymptotic properties of both methods are derived under mild *** and real data examples are also provided to show the superiority of the efficiency of the developed methods.

Let M=S^(n)/Γand h be a nontrivial element of finite order p inπ_(1)(Μ),where the integers n,p≥2,Γis a finite abelian group which acts freely and isometrically on the n-sphere and therefore M is diffeomorphic to a compact space *** this paper,we prove that there are infinitely many non-contractible closed geodesics of class[h]on the compact space form with C^(r)-generic Finsler metrics,where 4≤r≤∞.The conclusion also holds for Cr-generic Riemannian metrics for 2≤r≤∞.The proof is based on the resonance identity of non-contractible closed geodesics on compact space forms.

A novel chromogenic reaction involving copper（Ⅱ） and bromosulphonazo Ⅲ （Br-SAZⅢ） in hexamethylenetetramine- hydrochloric buffer solution was investigated. The results showed that a blue complex of copper（Ⅱ） and bromosulphonazo Ⅲ was formed with a molar ratio of 1：1. The apparent molar absorptivity was 3.3×10^5Lmol-1cm-1 and the maximum absorption peak was at 616.8 nm. The proposed procedure was used for quantitative estimation of Cu（II） in the concentration range of 0-1.024μg/mL with the detection limit （3σ） of 7.03 × 10^-4 μg/mL （n = 20）. The relative standard deviations （RSDs） were 0.56-4.68%. Under the optimized conditions, total copper in the vegetables and tea was successfully determined. 2007 Li Yuan. Deep-red/near-infrared fluorescence is highly suitable for bioimaging owing to its ability to deeply penetrate tissues,organs,and live ***,developing organic fluorophores with high deep-red/near-infrared fluorescence quantum yield(Φ_(FL))and fluorescent brightness remain a significant challenge owing to the energy gap ***,we developed a straightforward and effective chalcogen-annulation strategy by introducing O,S and Se into the bay region of TDI and QDI fluorophores,realizing the increase ofΦFLand fluorescent brightness up to 10 *** our best knowledge,this study potentially stands as the pioneering instance showcasing the anti-heavy-atom effect of chalcogens,and the absoluteΦFL(93%)and fluorescent brightness(128,200 cm^(-1)mol^(-1)L)of Se-TDI is among top deep-red/near-infrared organic fluorophores currently *** femtosecond transient absorption(fs-TA)measurements show the absence of obvious changes of the excited state lifetime after the introduction of chalcogens in TDI and QDI fluorophores,indicating that intersystem crossing(ISC)can be neglected in TDI and QDI *** calculations further reveal the chalcogen-annulation strategy increase the radiative rates and reduce the reorganization energy of several accepting modes at the ground state in TDI fluorophores,leading to the suppression of internal conversion(IC)*** chalcogen-annulation strategy,which effectively increases the Φ_(FL)and restricts the IC processes,while remaining unaffected by the heavy-atom effect,offers novel insights and theoretical support for the design and synthesis of deep-red/near-infrared organic fluorophores with high Φ_(FL)and fluorescent brightness.

A Fluctuation Test for Structural Change Detection in Heterogeneous Panel Data Models

Structural change in panel data is a widespread phenomena. This paper proposes a fluctuation test to detect a structural change at an unknown date in heterogeneous panel data models with or without common correlated effects. The asymptotic properties of the fluctuation statistics in two cases are developed under the null and local alternative hypothesis. Furthermore, the consistency of the change point estimator is proven. Monte Carlo simulation shows that the fluctuation test can control the probability of type I error in most cases, and the empirical power is high in case of small and moderate sample sizes. An application of the procedure to a real data is presented.
