Highly Thermoconductive,Strong Graphene‑Based Composite Films by Eliminating Nanosheets Wrinkles

Graphene-based thermally conductive composites have been proposed as effective thermal management materials for cooling high-power electronic ***,when flexible graphene nanosheets are assembled into macroscopic thermally conductive composites,capillary forces induce shrinkage of graphene nanosheets to form wrinkles during solution-based spontaneous dry.ng,which greatly reduces the thermal conductivity of the ***,graphene nanosheets/aramid nanofiber(GNS/ANF)composite films with high thermal conductivity were prepared by in-plane stretching of GNS/ANF composite hydrogel networks with hydrogen bonds andπ-π*** in-plane mechanical stretching eliminates graphene nanosheets wrinkles by suppressing inward shrinkage due to capillary forces during dry.ng and achieves a high in-plane orientation of graphene nanosheets,thereby creating a fast in-plane heat transfer *** composite films(GNS/ANF-60 wt%)with eliminated graphene nanosheets wrinkles showed a significant increase in thermal conductivity(146 W m^(−1)K^(−1))and tensile strength(207 MPa).The combination of these excellent properties enables the GNS/ANF composite films to be effectively used for cooling flexible LED chips and smartphones,showing promising applications in the thermal management of high-power electronic devices.

Impact wear properties of dissimilar joints between bainitic frogs and pearlite rails

The impact wear behavior and damage mechanism of dissimilar welded joints between U26Mn frog and U75 V rail before and after normalizing treatment were studied by cyclic impact *** experiment indicated that the impact wear volume of the joints increased with the increasing number of impact *** main wear mechanisms include pitting wear,mild fatigue wear,delamination wear,and fatigue wear,and plastic deformation was the primary impact wear *** them,fatigue wear had the greatest influence on wear volume,while other wear mechanisms had limited *** impact wear resistance of the base material was better than that of the heat-affected *** treatment was beneficial to improving the impact wear resistance of welded joints owing to its effect to promote pearlite recovery,grain refinement,and uniform distribution of *** martensite generated in the rail welded joints aggravated the impact wear damage to the materials,which should be avoided.

Research on the solar magnetic field and its effects on solar dynamo mechanisms and space weather events has benefited from the continual improvements in instrument resolution and measurement *** augmentation and assimilation of historical observational data timelines also play a significant role in understanding the patterns of solar magnetic field *** the realm of astronomical data processing,super-resolution(SR)reconstruction refers to the process of using a substantial corpus of training data to learn the nonlinear mapping between low-resolution(LR)and high-resolution(HR)images,thereby achieving higherresolution astronomical *** paper is an application study in high-dimensional nonlinear *** learning models were employed to perform SR modeling on SOHO/MDI magnetograms and SDO/HMI magnetograms,thus reliably achieving resolution enhancement of full-disk SOHO/MDI magnetograms and enhancing the image resolution to obtain more detailed *** this study,a data set comprising 9717pairs of data from 2010 April to 2011 February was used as the training set,1332 pairs from 2011 March were used as the validation set and 1034 pairs from 2011 April were used as the test *** data preprocessing,we randomly cropped 128×128 sub-images as the LR cases from the full-disk MDI magnetograms,and the corresponding 512×512 sub-images as HR ones from the HMI full-disk magnetograms for model *** tests conducted have shown that the study successfully produced reliable 4×SR reconstruction of full-disk MDI *** MESR model's results(0.911)were highly correlated with the target HMI magnetographs as indicated by the correlation coefficient ***,the method achieved the best PSNR,SSIM,MAE and RMSE values,indicating that the MESR model can effectively reconstruct magnetograms.

Experimental investigation on using CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion with high water cut in enhanced oil recovery

CO_(2) emulsions used for EOR have received a lot of interest because of its good performance on CO_(2)mobility ***,most of them have been focusing on the high quality CO_(2) emulsion(high CO_(2) fraction),while CO_(2) emulsion with high water cut has been rarely *** this paper,we carried out a comprehensive experimental study of using high water cut CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion for enhancing oil ***,a nonionic surfactant,alkyl glycosides(APG),was selected to stabilize CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion,and the corresponding morphology and stability were evaluated with a transparent PVT ***,plugging capacity and apparent viscosity of CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion were measured systematically by a sand pack displacement apparatus connected with a 1.95-m long capillary ***,a high water cut(40 vol%) CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion was selected for flooding experiments in a long sand pack and a core sample,and the oil recovery,the rate of oil recovery,and the pressure gradients were *** results indicated that APG had a good performance on emulsify.ng and stabilizing CO_(2) *** inversion from H_(2)O/CO_(2) emulsion to CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion with the increase in water cut was ***_(2)/H_(2)O emulsions with lower water cuts presented higher apparent viscosity,while the optimal plugging capacity of CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion occurred at a certain water ***,the displacement using CO_(2)/H_(2)O emulsion provided 18.98% and 13.36% additional oil recovery than that using pure CO_(2) in long sand pack and core tests,*** work may provide guidelines for EOR using CO_(2) emulsions with high water cut.

Currently,the enhancement in electromagnetic interference(EMI)performance of polymeric composite generally relies on either improving electrical conductivity(σ)for stronger electromagnetic(EM)reflections or tailoring structure for higher EM ***,we proposed a novel technique called cyclic pulsating pressure enhanced segregating structuration(CPP-SS),which can reinforce these two factors *** structural information was supplied by optical microscopy(OM)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM),both of which confirmed the formation and evolution of segregate structured ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene(UHMWPE)/graphene ***,the result showed that CPP-SS can significantly improve theσof ***,advanced specific EMI shielding efficiency of 31.1 d B/mm was achieved for UHMWPE/graphene composite at 1-mm thickness and a low graphene loading of 5 wt%.Meanwhile,it also confirmed that the intrinsic disadvantage of poor mechanical properties of conventional segregated structure composites can be *** work is believed to provide a fundamental understanding of the structural and performance evolutions of segregated structured composites prepared under CPPSS,and to bring us a simple and efficient approach for fabricating high-performance,strong and light-weight polymeric EMI shields.

Effect of Mn addition on microstructure and mechanical properties of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel

Three types of steels were designed on the basis of GX40CrNiSi25-12 austenitic heat resistant steel by adding different Mn contents(2wt.%,6wt.%,and 12wt.%).Thermodynamic calculation,microstructure characterization and mechanical property tests were conducted to investigate the effect of Mn addition on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the austenitic heat resistant *** show that the matrix structure in all the three types of steels at room temperature is completely *** NbC and M_(23)C_(6)precipitate at grain boundaries of austenite *** the increase of Mn content,the number of carbides increases and their distribution becomes more *** the Mn content increases from 1.99%to 12.06%,the ultimate tensile strength,yield strength and elongation increase by 14.6%,8.0%and 46.3%,*** improvement of the mechanical properties of austenitic steels can be explained by utilizing classic theories of alloy strengthening,including solid solution strengthening,precipitation strengthening,and grain *** increase in alloy strength can be attributed to solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening caused by the addition of *** improvement of the plasticity of austenitic steels can be explained from two aspects:grain refinement and homogenization of precipitated phases.

Non-contact and full-field online monitoring of curing temperature during the in-situ heating process based on deep learning

Acoustic characterization of hydrate formation and decomposition in clay-bearing sediments

Understanding the acoustic characteristics of hydrates in various sediments is crucial for hydrate resource detection and safe and efficient exploitation, as hydrate occurrence patterns vary greatly in different sediments. In this work, sediments with different bentonite contents, water saturations, and types were prepared to investigate the characteristics of P-wave velocity(reflecting the magnitude of hydrate saturation in the sediment) and amplitude(reflecting the degree of hydrate-sediment cementation) during hydrate formation and depressurization. During hydrate formation, the P-wave velocity and amplitude have similar trends. As clay content increases, the P-wave velocity increase rates quickened. On the other hand, the increased rate of P-wave velocity slows down with the increase of water saturation in the clay-bearing sediments. Comparing various types of sediment shows that the water absorption and swelling of bentonite reduce the pore space, speeding up the cementation of the hydrate with the sediment and increasing P-wave velocity at a faster rate. Correspondence between P-wave velocity and hydrate saturation is strongly related to sediment type, clay content, and water *** rapidly decreasing amplitude in the early stage of hydrate depressurization indicates that hydrate in clay-bearing sediments is weakly cemented to the sediments, which is prone to stratigraphic *** findings of this study offer guidance for hydrate resource assessments in clay-bearing sediments as well as geologic risk estimations during hydrate mining.
