To probe the contributions of polar cortical cytoskeleton and the surface tension of daughter cells to intercellular bridge thinning dynamics during cytokinesis,we applied cytochalasin D（CD） or colchicine（COLC） in a highly localized manner to polar regions of dividing normal rat kidney（NRK） *** observed cellular morphological changes and analyzed the intercellular bridge thinning trajectories of dividing cells with different polar cortical *** blebbistatin（BS） application was used to obtain cells losing active contractile force *** results show that locally released CD or colchicine at the polar region caused inhibition of cytokinesis before *** treatment at phases after ingression allowed completion of cytokinesis but dramatically influenced the trajectories of intercellular bridge *** single polar cortical actin induced transformation of the intercellular bridge thinning process,and polar cortical tension controlled deformation time of intercellular *** study provides a feasible framework to induce and analyze the effects of local changes in mechanical properties of cellular components on single cellular cytokinesis.

The syndiotactic polymerization of styrene（St） and the copolymerization of St with ethylene（E） were carried out by using a series of chiral half-sandwich rare-earth metal dialkyl complexes（Cp^x＊） as the catalysts. The complexes are Ln（CH2SiMe3）2（THF）（1-4： Ln = Sc（1）, Ln = Lu（2）, Ln = Y（3）, Ln = Dy（4）） bearing chiral cyclopentadienyl ligand containing bulky cylcohexane derivatives in the presence of activator and AliBu3. For the St polymerization, a high activity up to 3.1 × 10^6 g of polymer mol Ln^-1·h^-1 and a high syndiotactic selectivity more than 99% were achieved. The resulting syndiotactic polystyrenes（sPSs） have the molecular weights（Mn） ranging from 3700 g·mol^-1 to 6400 g·mol^-1 and the molecular weight distributions（Mw/Mn） from 1.40 to 5.03. As for the copolymerization of St and E, the activity was up to 2.4 × 10^6 g of copolymer mol Sc^-1·h^-1·MPa^-1, giving random St-E copolymers containing syndiotactic polystyrene sequences with different St content in the range of 15 mol%-58 mol%. These results demonstrate that the bulky cyclopentadienyl ligands of the chiral half-sandwich rare-earth metal complexes effectively inhibit the continued insertion of St monomers into the（co）polymer chain to some extent in comparison with the known half-sandwich rare-earth metal complexes.

Pulsed tungsten inert gas （TIG） welding is widely used in industry due to its superior properties, so the measurement of arc telnperature is important to analyse welding process. Arc image of spectral line in 794.8 nm is captured by high speed camera; both the Abel inversion and the Fowler-Milne method are used to calculate the temperature distribution of the pulsed TIG welding. Characteristic of transient variation in arc intensity and temperature is analyzed. When the change of current happens, intensity and temperature of arc jump as well, it costs several millisoconds. The flirther the axial position from the tungsten is, the greater the intensity jumps, and the smaller the temperature changes.

Susceptibility and morphological characteristics of crevice corrosion for SS316, SS904L, SS254sMo and SS2507 in thesimulated low-temperature multi-effect distillation environment were investigated by cyclic polarization test, scanningelectron microscope and laser microscope. The results show that the crevice corrosion resistance of four kinds of stainlesssteel is ranked as SS254sMo ≈ SS2507 〉 SS316 〉 SS904L. There are ＂cover＂ structures over the edge of active crevicecorrosion regions of SS904L, SS254sMo and SS2507, but SS316 is an exception. Galvanic corrosion characteristicsappeared in the crevice of duplex supper stainless steel SS2507.

La1.5Mg17Ni0.5 hydrogen storage materials were prepared by hydriding combustion synthesis (HCS) and mechanical alloying (MA) method respectively. The experimental results show that the hydrogen absorption properties of La1.5Mg17Nio.5 prepared by MA are better than that by HCS. La1.5Mg17Nio.5 prepared by MA can absorb 6.73 mass% hydrogen at 523 K within 1 min, and 4.92 mass% hydrogen at 423 K. The improvement of hydriding properties of La1.5Mg17Ni0.5alloy prepared by MA can be ascribed to the formation of nano-crystalline and defects during the mechanical alloying.

Sucrose non-fermenting-l-related protein kinase 1 （SnRK1） has been located at the heart of the control of metabolism and development in plants. The active SnRK1 form is usually a heterotrimeric complex. Subcellular localization and specific target of the SnRK1 kinase are regulated by specific beta subunits. In Arabidopsis, there are at least seven genes encoding beta subunits, of which the regulatory functions are not yet clear. Here, we tried to study the function of one beta subunit, AKINβ1. It showed that AKINβ1 expression was dramatically induced by ammonia nitrate but not potassium nitrate, and the investigation of AKINβ1 transgenic Arabidopsis and T-DNA insertion lines showed that AKINβ1 negatively regulated the activity of nitrate ruductase and was positively involved in sugar repression in early seedling development. Meanwhile AKIN/β1 expression was reduced upon sugar treatment （including mannitol） and did not affect the activity of sucrose phosphate synthase. The results indicate that AKIN/β1 is involved in the regulation of nitrogen metabolism and sugar signaling.
