Estimating SVCV waterborne transmission and predicting experimental epidemic development:A modeling study using a machine learning approach

The Chinese tree shrew(Tupaia belangeri chinensis)has emerged as a promising model for investigating adrenal steroid synthesis,but it is unclear whether the same cells produce steroid hormones and whether their production is regulated in the same way as in ***,we comprehensively mapped the cell types and pathways of steroid metabolism in the adrenal gland of Chinese tree shrews using single-cell RNA sequencing,spatial transcriptome analysis,mass spectrometry,and *** compared the transcriptomes of various adrenal cell types across tree shrews,humans,macaques,and *** showed that tree shrew adrenal glands expressed many of the same key enzymes for steroid synthesis as humans,including CYP11B2,CYP11B1,CYB5A,and *** analysis confirmed the production of aldosterone,cortisol,and dehydroepiandrosterone but not dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate in the tree shrew adrenal ***,genes in adrenal cell types in tree shrews were correlated with genetic risk factors for polycystic ovary syndrome,primary aldosteronism,hypertension,and related disorders in humans based on genome-wide association ***,this study suggests that the adrenal glands of Chinese tree shrews may consist of closely related cell populations with functional similarity to those of the human adrenal *** comprehensive results(publicly available at http://***:16245/scAGMap/)should facilitate the advancement of this animal model for the investigation of adrenal gland disorders.

Safety and Necessity of Antiplatelet Therapy on Patients Underwent Endovascular Aortic Repair with Both Stanford Type B Aortic Dissection and Coronary Heart Disease

Background： Acute aortic dissection is known as the most dangerous aortic disease, with management and prognosis determined as the disruption of the medial layer provoked by intramural bleeding. The objective of this study was to evaluate the safety and necessity of antiplatelet therapy on patients with Stanford Type B aortic dissection （TBAD） who underwent endovascular aortic repair （EVAR）. Methods： The present study retrospectively analyzed 388 patients with TBAD who underwent EVAR and coronary angiography. The primary outcomes were hemorrhage, death, endoleak, recurrent dissection, myocardial infarction, and cerebral infarction in patients with and without aspirin antiplatelet therapy at 1 month and 12 months. Results： Of those 388 patients, 139 （35.8%） patients were treated with aspirin and 249 （64.2%） patients were not treated with aspirin. Patients in the aspirin group were elderly （57.0 ± 10.3 years vs. 52.5 ± 11.9 years, respectively, χ2 = 3.812, P 〈 0.001） and had more hypertension （92.1% vs. 83.9%, respectively, χ2 = 5.191, P = 0.023） and diabetes （7.2% vs. 2.8%, respectively, χ2 = 4.090, P = 0.043） than in the no-aspirin group. Twelve patients （aspirin group vs. no-aspirin group; 3.6% vs. 2.8%, respectively, χ2 = 0.184, P = 0.668） died at 1-month follow-up, while the number was 18 （4.6% vs. 5.0%, respectively, χ2 = 0.027, P = 0.870） at 12-month follow-up. Hemorrhage occurred in 1 patient （Bleeding Academic Research Consortium [BARC] Type 2） of the aspirin group, and 3 patients （1 BARC Type 2 and 2 BARC Type 5） in the no-aspirin group at 1-month follow-up （ χ2 = 0.005, P = 0.944）. New hemorrhage occurred in five patients in the no-aspirin group at 12-month follow-up. Three patients in the aspirin group while five patients in the no-aspirin group had recurrent dissection for endoleak at 1-month follow-up （2.3% vs. 2.2%, respectively, χ2 = 0.074, P = 0.816）. 在电机闭环控制过程中,电流传感器故障、不同电流传感器的不一致性等因素可能导致系统失稳。为提高系统的容错能力,减小故障对控制系统稳定性的影响,提出一种基于单电流传感器的改进相电流重构技术。通过移动脉宽调制的脉冲矢量来消除母线电流采样盲区,进而通过母线电流重构获得三相电流。相比于传统电流重构方法,所提改进方法重构的电流更接近真实电流值,能够减小电流总谐波,降低电磁转矩脉动,提升系统的稳态性能。通过仿真和实验对比2种重构方法,证明了所提改进方法的优势。结果表明所提改进方法能有效实现电流重构,提升系统稳态性能。

Short-term Rosuvastatin Treatment for the Prevention of Contrast-induced Acute Kidney Injury in Patients Receiving Moderate or High Volumes of Contrast Media： A Sub-analysis of the TRACK-D Study

Background:Current randomized trials have demonstrated the effects of short-term rosuvastatin therapy in preventing contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CIAKI).However,the consistency of these effects on patients administered different volumes of contrast media is ***:In the TRACK-D trial,2998 patients with type 2 diabetes and concomitant chronic kidney disease (CKD) who underwent coronary/peripheral arterial angiography with or without percutaneous intervention were randomized to short-term (2 days before and 3 days after procedure) rosuvastatin therapy or *** prespecified analysis compared the effects of rosuvastatin versus standard therapy in patients exposed to (moderate contrast volume [MCV],200-300 ml,n =712) or (high contrast volume [HCV],≥300 ml,n =220).The primary outcome was the incidence of *** secondary outcome was a composite of death,dialysis/hemofiltration or worsened heart failure at 30 ***:Rosuvastatin treatment was associated with a significant reduction in CIAKI compared with the controls (2.1％ vs.4.4％,P =0.050) in the overall cohort and in patients with MCV (1.7％ vs.4.5％,P =0.029),whereas no benefit was observed in patients with HCV (3.4％ vs.3.9％,P =0.834).The incidence of secondary outcomes was significantly lower in the rosuvastatin group compared with control group (2.7％ vs.5.3％,P =0.049) in the overall cohort,but it was similar between the patients with MCV (2.0％ vs.4.2％,P =0.081) or HCV (5.1％ vs.8.8％,P =0.273).Conclusions:Periprocedural short-term rosuvastatin treatment is effective in reducing CIAKI and adverse clinical events for patients with diabetes and CKD after their exposure to a moderate volume of contrast medium.

Understanding the response of the Earth system to varying concentrations of carbon dioxide(CO_(2))is critical for projecting possible future climate change and for providing insight into mitigation and adaptation strategies in the near *** this study,we generate a dataset by conducting an experiment involving carbon dioxide removal(CDR)—a potential way to suppress global warming—using the Chinese Academy of Sciences Earth System Model version 2.0(CASESM2.0).A preliminary evaluation is *** model is integrated from 200–340 years as a 1%yr^(−1) CO_(2) concentration increase experiment,and then to~478 years as a carbon dioxide removal experiment until CO_(2) returns to its original ***,another 80 years is integrated in which CO_(2) is kept *** in the 2-m temperature,precipitation,sea surface temperature,ocean temperature,Atlantic meridional overturning circulation(AMOC),and sea surface height are all *** the ramp-up period,the global mean 2-m temperature and precipitation both increase while the AMOC *** of all the above variables change in the opposite direction in the ramp-down period,with a delayed peak relative to the CO_(2) *** CO_(2) returns to its original value,the global mean 2-m temperature is still~1 K higher than in the original state,and precipitation is~0.07 mm d^(–1) *** the end of the simulation,there is a~0.5°C increase in ocean temperature and a 1 Sv weakening of the *** model simulation produces similar results to those of comparable experiments previously reported in the literature.

Curvature-enhanced multipartite coherence in the multiverse

Here,we study the quantum coherence of N-partite Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger(GHZ)and W states in the multiverse consisting of N causally disconnected de Sitter ***,N-partite coherence increases monotonically with curvature,whereas the curvature effect destroys quantum entanglement and discord,indicating that the curvature effect is beneficial to quantum coherence and harmful to quantum correlations in the *** find that with an increase in n expanding de Sitter spaces,the N-partite coherence of the GHZ state increases monotonically for any curvature,whereas the quantum coherence of the W state decreases or increases monotonically depending on the *** find a distribution relationship,which indicates that the correlated coherence of the N-partite W state is equal to the sum of all bipartite correlated coherence in the *** coherence exhibits unique properties in the multiverse,suggesting that it may provide some evidence for the existence of the multiverse.

Tensile Mechanical Behavior and Failure Mechanism of a Plain-Woven SiCf/SiC Composites at Room and Elevated Temperatures

Ceramic matrix composites (CMCs) are the preferred materials for solving advanced aerospace high-temperature structural components;it has the comprehensive advantages of higher temperature (~1500˚C) and low density. In service environments, CMCs exhibit complex damage mechanisms and failure modes, which are affected by constituent materials, meso-architecture and inhere defects. In this paper, the in-plane tensile mechanical behavior of a plain-woven SiCf/SiC composite at room and elevated temperatures was investigated, and the factors affecting the tensile strength of the material were discussed in depth. The results show that the tensile modulus and strength of SiCf/SiC composites at high temperature are lower, but the fracture strain increases and the toughness of the composites is enhanced;the stitching holes significantly weaken the tensile strength of the material, resulting in the material is easy to break at the cross-section with stitching holes.
