Background:Obese individuals diagnosed with breast cancer often experience a less favorable prognosis;however,the underlying mechanisms linking obesity to breast cancer outcomes remain *** study aimed to identify and validate novel prognostic markers associated with breast cancer in patients with ***:We conducted a reanalysis of gene expression profiles from normal-weight,overweight,and obese breast cancer patients to identify candidate ***,we validated the protein levels of these candidates using ***,we investigated the association between candidate genes and breast cancer prognosis at Tongji Hospital,utilizing data from an 8-year follow-up through the Kaplan-Meier method and univariate and multivariate Cox regression ***:The fold change of the circadian clock gene period 2(PER2),which exhibited a declining trend with increasing body mass index,was 0.76 in obese patients compared with normal-weight *** expression rates of PER2 protein were 44.7%,51.5%,and 61.3%in normal-weight,overweight,and obese patients,*** 8-year recurrence-free survival rates were 75.9%,69.6%,and 64.1%,whereas the 8-year overall survival rates were 86.8%,83.0%,and 76.1%in normal-weight,overweight,and obese patients,respectively(P<0.05).Furthermore,the 8-year recurrence-free survival rates were 66.2%and 76.4%,and the 8-year overall survival rates were 79.9%and 86.3%in the low and high PER2 expression groups,respectively(P<0.05).The unadjusted hazard ratio for PER2 was 1.550(95%confidence interval,1.029–2.335),and the adjusted hazard ratio was 3.003(95%confidence interval,1.838–4.907).Conclusions:Our findings indicate that low PER2 expression serves as an independent risk factor for breast cancer prognosis and may contribute to the unfavorable outcomes observed in obese patients.

In original Zernike moments subpixel edge operator, ideal step edge model is chosen for calculating four parameters of a pixel point, and therefore principle deviation is caused by edge model. In order to discuss the effect of principle deviation on edge location, sampled edge model is chosen for calculating edge parameters, principle deviation of edge translation l is derived based on Zernike moments edge detection theory, and modified formula of l is given for Zernike moments operator with masks of 5×5 size. Both theory analysis and testing result demonstrate that principle deviation is zero when edge translation l is limited in central pixel of a sampled window. In another case, the modification of l should be considered, which results in edge location accuracy of non-subpixel level for this subpixel edge operator.

Background： Desmoplastic fibroblastoma （collagenous fibroma） is an uncommon benign soft-tissue tumor, rarely involving bone. It shares some overlapping features with other infiltrate tumors, such as desmoid-type fibromatosis, neurofibroma, and low-grade fibromyxoid sarcoma. The misdiagnosis may cause unnecessary surgical overtreatment, especially for those involving bone. In order to deepen the understanding of the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of desmoplastic fibroblastoma, we planned to analyze the clinical, radiological, and histopathological features and the outcome of desmoplastic fibroblastoma on the basis of case analysis and literature review. Methods： Sixteen cases were retrieved from the surgical pathology records from May 2011 to April 2016 in the Department of Pathology in Beijing Jishuitan Hospital. Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded specimens of 16 cases of desmoplastic fibroblastoma were collected. Hematoxylin and eosin stain and immunohistochemistry were used to observe the histological features of desmoplastic fibroblastoma of soft tissue and bone. The images for diagnosis obtained from the ultrasonic examination, X-ray, magnetic resonance imaging, and computed tomography were used to observe the radiological features. Related literatures were retrieved from the PubMed and CNKI databases. Results： Sixteen cases of desmoplastic fibroblastoma of soft tissue were located in the hand （n = 7）, loot （n = 4）, upper arm （n = 1）, shoulder （n = 1）, forearm （n = 2）, and one case occurred in the proximal femur. Age ranged from 32 to 82 years （median age： 58 years）. There were six females and ten males. Histologically, the lesions of soft tissue appeared as well-circumscribed masses with abundant collagenous matrix and low vascularity. Tumor cells were stellate- or spindle-shaped and uniformly distributed within the extracellular matrix. 目的探讨肺尘埃沉着病是否合并高血压的患者血清血管紧张素转化酶(ACE)水平的差异。方法选取2008—2015年广东省职业病防治院住院治疗的肺尘埃沉着病患者300例为研究对象,根据是否合并高血压,将研究对象分为尘肺合并高血压组(37例)及尘肺组(263例)。抽取患者空腹静脉血,测定ACE水平。结果肺尘埃沉着病患者ACE水平为(124.75±75.45)U/L,高于ACE的参考范围上限(100.00 U/L),差异有统计学意义(t=5.635,P0.05)。线性回归分析显示,肺尘埃沉着病患者ACE水平与性别、年龄、心率、收缩压、舒张压、肺尘埃沉着病分期、空腹血糖均无相关性(P>0.05)。结论肺尘埃沉着病患者ACE水平普遍处于较高水平,是否合并高血压的肺尘埃沉着病患者ACE水平未见差异。
