Circulating Exosomal Lnc RNAs as Novel Diagnostic Predictors of Severity and Sites of White Matter Hyperintensities

Objective Exosomal long noncoding RNAs(lnc RNAs) are the key to diagnosing and treating various diseases. This study aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of plasma exosomal lnc RNAs in white matter hyperintensities(WMH).Methods We used high-throughput sequencing to determine the differential expression(DE) profiles of lnc RNAs in plasma exosomes from WMH patients and controls. The sequencing results were verified in a validation cohort using q RT-PCR. The diagnostic potential of candidate exosomal lnc RNAs was proven by binary logistic analysis and receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curves. The diagnostic value of DE exo-lnc RNAs was determined by the area under the curve(AUC). The WMH group was then divided into subgroups according to the Fazekas scale and white matter lesion site, and the correlation of DE exo-lnc RNAs in the subgroup was *** In our results, four DE exo-lnc RNAs were identified, and ROC curve analysis revealed that exolnc_011797 and exo-lnc_004326 exhibited diagnostic efficacy for WMH. Furthermore, WMH subgroup analysis showed exo-lnc_011797 expression was significantly increased in Fazekas 3 patients and was significantly elevated in patients with paraventricular matter *** Plasma exosomal lnc RNAs have potential diagnostic value in WMH. Moreover, exolnc_011797 is considered to be a predictor of the severity and location of WMH.

The Regularized WSM6 Microphysical Scheme and Its Validation in WRF 4D-Var

A cold cloud assimilation scheme was developed that fully considers the water substances,i.e.,water vapor,cloud water,rain,ice,snow,and graupel,based on the single-moment WSM6 microphysical scheme and four-dimensional variational(4D-Var)data assimilation in the Weather Research and Forecasting data assimilation(WRFDA)*** verification of the regularized WSM6 and its tangent linearity model(TLM)and adjoint mode model(ADM)was proven *** groups of single observation and real sounding data assimilation experiments were set up to further verify the correctness of the assimilation *** results showed that the consideration of ice,snow,and graupel in the assimilation system of the 4D-Var,as opposed to their omission in the warm rain Kessler scheme,allowed the water substances to be reasonably updated,further improving the *** it can be further applied in the assimilation of observational data,radar reflectivities,and satellite radiances,the cold cloud assimilation scheme needs additional verification,including using conventional ground and sounding observations in the 4D-Var assimilation system.

Stepwise Crystalline Structural Transformation in 0D Hybrid Antimony Halides with Triplet Turn-on and Color-Adjustable Luminescence Switching

Intelligent stimuli-responsive fluorescence materials are extremely pivotal for fabricating luminescent turn-on switching in solid-state photonic integration technology,but it remains a challenging objective for typical 3-dimensional(3D)perovskite ***,by fine-tuning the accumulation modes of metal halide components to dynamically control the carrier characteristics,a novel triple-mode photoluminescence(PL)switching was realized in 0D metal halide through stepwise single-crystal to single-crystal(SC-SC)***,a family of 0D hybrid antimony halides was designed to exhibit three distinct types of PL performance including nonluminescent[Ph_(3)EtP]_(2)Sb_(2)Cl_(8)(1),yellowemissive[Ph3EtP]2SbCl5·EtOH(2),and red-emissive[Ph_(3)EtP]_(2)SbCl_(5)(3).Upon stimulus of ethanol,1 was successfully converted to 2 through SC-SC transformation with enhanced PL quantum yield from~0%to 91.50%acting as“turn-on”luminescent ***,reversible SC-SC and luminescence transformation between 2 and 3 can be also achieved in the ethanol impregnation-heating process as luminescence vapochromism *** a consequence,a new triple-model turn-on and coloradjustable luminescent switching of off-onI-onII was realized in 0D hybrid ***,wide advanced applications were also achieved in anti-counterfeiting,information security,and optical logic *** novel photon engineering strategy is expected to deepen the understanding of dynamic PL switching mechanism and guide development of new smart luminescence materials in cutting-edge optical switchable device.

On-line spheroidization process of medium-carbon low-alloyed cold heading steel

Conventionally manufactured 35CrMo cold heading steel must undergo spheroidization annealing before the cold heading process In this paper, different types of deformation processes with various controlled cooling periods were operated to achieve on-line spheroidal cementite using the Gleeble-3500 simulation technique. According to the measured dynamic ferrite transformation temperature （Ad3）, the deformation could be divided into two types： low temperature deformation at 810 and 780℃; ＂deformation-induced ferrite transformation＂（DIFT） deformation at 750 and 720℃. Compared with the low temperature deformation, the DIFT deformation followed by accelerated cooling to 680℃ is beneficial for the formation of spheroidal cementite. Samples subjected to both the low-temperature deformation and DIFT deformation can obtain granular bainite by accelerated cooling to 640℃; the latter may contribute to the formation of a fine dispersion of secondary constituents. Granular bainite can transform into globular pearlite rapidly during subcritical annealing, and the more the disperse phase, the more homogeneously distributed globular cementite can be obtained.

To realize the commercialize of rechargeable Zn-air battery(RZAB),developing metal-free bifunctional electrocatalysts with satisfactory activity for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is one of the emerging ***,a prawn shells-derived N-enriched porous carbon(PSNC)is synthesized via an ion exchange coupled biomimetic selfsacrificing template *** resulting PSNC displays unique functional components,including the interconnected macro-meso-micropores structure to shorten charge and mass transfer pathway,high content of pyridinic and graphitic nitrogen to construct rich catalytic active site and improve *** electrocatalysts in alkaline condition,the optimized PSNC-0.8 achieves excellent bifunctional catalytic propriety with a narrow potential gap(ΔE)value of 0.80 ***,PSNC-0.8-based RZAB displays a high peak power density of 176.5 mW·cm^(-2)and considerable cycling durability with a small battery efficiency delay of 6.5%after 480 cycles(320 h).This study enlightens a simple and effective conception to design high-performance metal-free bifunctional electrocatalysts from seafood waste.

IBPSO-Based MUSIC Algorithm for Broken Rotor Bars Fault Detection of Induction Motors

In spectrum analysis of induction motor current, the characteristic components of broken rotor bars（BRB） fault are often submerged by the fundamental component. Although many detection methods have been proposed for this problem, the frequency resolution and accuracy are not high enough so that the reliability of BRB fault detection is a ected. Thus, a new multiple signal classification（MUSIC） algorithm based on particle swarm intelligence search is developed. Since spectrum peak search in MUSIC is a multimodal optimization problem, an improved bare?bones particle swarm optimization algorithm（IBPSO） is proposed first. In the IBPSO, a modified strategy of subpopulation determination is introduced into BPSO for realizing multimodal search. And then, the new MUSIC algorithm, called IBPSO?based MUSIC, is proposed by replacing the fixed?step traversal search with IBPSO. Meanwhile, a simulation signal is used to test the e ectiveness of the proposed algorithm. The simulation results show that its frequency precision reaches 10-5, and the computational cost is only comparable to that of traditional MUSIC with 0.1 search step. Finally, the IBPSO?based MUSIC is applied in BRB fault detection of an induction motor, and the e ectiveness and superiority are proved again. The proposed research provides a modified MUSIC algorithm which has su cient frequency precision to detect BRB fault in induction motors.

Effect of Screw-Dislocation on Electrical Properties of Spiral-Type Bi2Se3 Nanoplates

We systematically investigated the electrical nanoplates through field effect transistor and properties of spiral-type and smooth Bi2Se3 conductive atomic force microscopy （CAFM） measurement. It is observed that both nanoplates possess high conductivity and show metallic-like behavior. Compared to the smooth nanoplate, the spiral-type one exhibits the higher carrier concentration and lower mobility. CAFM characterization reveals that the conductance at the screw-dislocation edge is even higher than that on the terrace, implying that the dislocation can supply excess carriers to compensate the low mobility and achieve high conductivity. The unique structure and electrical properties make the spiral-type Bi2 Se3 nanoplates a good candidate for catalysts and gas sensors.

Theoretical Studies on the Ground State and Excited State of 2,7′- （Ethylene）-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline

2,7′-（Ethylene）-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline was optimized with DFT/B3LYP and ab initio HF methods, so ion- ization potential and electron affinity could be determined. Absorption spectrum was calculated by ZINDO and TD-DFT. CIS method was used to calculate the S1 excited states of the compound and afterwards the emission spectrum was computed. When the solvent effect was taken into account, the computed results show encouraging agreement with known experimental data. The results of analyzing the relationship between the energies and absorption spectra indicate that the ability to transporting electrons is strengthened compared with 8-hydroxyquinoline and that absorption and emission spectra are red-shifted. The intramoleeular reor- ganization energy of tris（2,7′-（ethylene）-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline）-aluminum implies its electron transporting property is worse than tris（8-hydroxyquinoline）-aluminum. The predicted maximum emission wavelength is red-shifted compared with tris（8-hydroxyquinoline）-aluminum.

To investigate the feasibility of developing biobased and biodegradable thermochromic fibers,poly(lactic acid)(PLA)fibers with visual temperature indicator functionality were fabricated using a scalable melt spinning technique(spinning speed 800 m/min),where PLA and thermochromic microcapsules were used as fiber-forming polymers and color indicators,*** effect of thermochromic microcapsules on the mechanical properties and reversible color-changing function of PLA fibers was systematically investigated to achieve high tenacity and sensitive color-changing *** difference in the fiber performance was connected to changes in the multilayer *** results show that PLA fibers exhibit excellent tenacity of 3.7-4.7 cN/dtex and reversible and stable thermochromic behavior over 31℃.The high fraction of mesophase within TPLA-1 fiber plays an important role in its ***,the low-concentration of microcapsules(~1 wt%)with good dispersion could act as a nucleating agent inside the PLA matrix and contribute to the formation of microcrystals in the amorphous between primary lamellae,which is also beneficial to maintain the tenacity of the *** agglomeration of high-concentration microcapsules within PLA fibers hampered the formation of mesophase,resulting in a decrease in fiber *** from the content of microcapsules,the agglomeration of high-concentration microcapsules(>5 wt%)is the main reason that limits the substantial increase in fiber color *** study opens up new possibilities for degradable thermochromic fibers produced using standard industrial spinning technology.
