Under the framework of Maxwell-Garnett （M-G） model, the optical and electrical properties of singlewalled carbon naotube （SWCNT）, double-walled carbon nanotube （DWCNT） and hydrogen-doped carbon nanotube （H-doped GNT） in terahertz （THz） region have been investigated. It has been found that as frequency increases the loss tangent and conductivity show a peak. The loss tangent and conductivity of SWCNT is larger than that of DWCNT and H-doped CNT. The loss tangent and conductivity increase with the increases of filling factor and the decreases of geometrical factor.

In this paper,by means of constructing the linear complementarity problems into the corresponding absolute value equation,we raise an iteration method,called as the nonlinear lopsided HSS-like modulus-based matrix splitting iteration method,for solving the linear complementarity problems whose coefficient matrix in R^(n×n)is large sparse and positive *** the convergence analysis,it is appreciable to see that the proposed method will converge to its accurate solution under appropriate *** examples demonstrate that the presented method precede to other methods in practical implementation.

Background Regulatory T cells （Tregs） are immunologically and clinically interesting not least because of the important role they play in allograft rejection. Likewise, expression of the transcription factor forkhead box protein 3 （FOXP3）, detected in transplant biopsies, is also of intere.（;t because of its role in the development of regulatory T cells. In this study, we investigated the relationship between FoxP3 mRNA expression and acute organ rejection in kidney-transplant recipients. Methods In this prospective study, FoxP3 mRNA expression levels in peripheral blood samples from 10 recipients of living relative-donor kidney transplants were measured before transplantation as well as at the 14th and 90th days post-transplantation. In addition, 46 first-time kidney-transplant recipients participated in a cross-sectional study, with 28 patients classified as having acute organ rejection; whilst the remaining 18 patients had functionally stable allografts. FoxP3 mRNA expression levels in peripheral blood samples were compared between these two different groups. Results Before transplantation mean FoxP3 mRNA levels vs. GADPH mRNA levels （Ig（FoxP3 mRNA/GADPH mRNA）） in the 10 recipients were 1.11±0.67. The mean FoxP3 mRNA expression levels measured at 14th and 90th days post-transplantation were significantly higher than before transplantation （1.69±0.38, P=0.03; 1.44±0.21, P=0.04, respectively）. Additionally, the mean FoxP3 mRNA levels vs. GADPH mRNA expression levels （Ig（FoxP3 mRNA/GADPH mRNA）） were significantly higher in recipients suffering acute rejection compared with those with stable allografts （1.77±0.61 and 1.43±0.27, respectively, P=0.03）. Conclusions After kidney transplantntion, FoxP3 mRNA levels were found to increase in the peripheral blood of all recipients. Considerably higher FoxP3 rnRNA levels were observed in recipients suffering acute rejection. These results suggest that FoxP3 mRNA levels in peripheral blood samples can be used as a diagnostic t

Background Malignant tumor is the most common complication occurred in transplant recipients. It is widely recognized that immunosuppressive treatments increase the risk of cancer in transplant recipients. The efficacy and safety of rapamycin （RPM） in combination with low-dose calcineurin inhibitor （CNI） in treating 15 renal allograft recipients which developed urothelial carcinoma were observed.Methods Immunosuppressive regimen in all recipients was altered with rapamycin to replace mycophenolate mofetil （MMF） or azathioprine （Aza）. The initial loading dosage was 2 mg/d, and the next dosage was 1 mg/d. The dosage of rapamycin was carefully adjusted according to the blood drug level and concentration of the drug was maintained at 4-6 μg/L. In all the 15 patients, the calcineurin inhibitor was reduced down to one third of the original dosage after the rapamycin blood concentration became stable. Surgical treatment and intravesical instillation chemotherapy were carried out in all patients. Recurrence of the tumor was monitored throughout the study. Post-transplant renal function and side effects were also closely monitored.Results Among the 15 patients, 9 had no tumor recurrence in 2 years, 2 had tumor recurrences twice, and 4 had once. There was no acute rejection observed during RPM treatment. Post-transplant renal function in 11 patients was improved with a decreased creatinine level. Hyperlipoidemia and thrombocytopenia were the most frequent adverse events which responded well to corresponding treatments.Conclusion Among the renal allograft recipients with urothelial carcinoma, combination of rapamycin and low dose calcineurin inhibitor treatment is effective and safe.

The key role of oxide inclusions on the microstructure and mechanical property of a high-strength low-alloy steel was *** field emission scanning electron microscope equipped with energy-dispersive spectrometry was used to characterize MnS *** inclusions play an important role in the shape control of MnS *** oxides fovored to decrease the size and the aspect ratio of MnS *** less oxide inclusions in the steel,approximately over 16.7%MnS precipitates were with aspect ratio a>5 and pure MnS precipitates accounted for 75.9%in ***,with more oxide inclusions in the steel,only 7.4%MnS precipitates were with a>5 and pure MnS precipitates accounted for 60.1%in *** of MnS by oxide inclusions improved the strength and inhibited the *** oxide inclusions in the steel increased the yield strength and tensile strength of the steel in both longitudinal and transverse directions,and lowered the anisotropy of the mechanical property.

A possible quasi-periodic oscillation(QPO) at frequency 7.045 × 10^(-5) Hz is found in the narrow-line Seyfert 1galaxy Mrk 142 in the data of XMM-Newton collected on 2020 April *** find that the QPO signal is statistically significantly larger than the 5σ level and highly coherent with quality factor Q > 5 at the 0.3–10 keV band by using the method of the Lomb–Scargle Periodogram,the Weighted Wavelet Z-transform and the *** analyze the data in 0.3–0.6 keV,0.6–1 keV,1–3 keV and 3–10 keV energy bands,and find obvious QPO signals at 0.3–0.6 keV and 1–3 keV *** then analyze the time-average spectra and time variability at the QPO frequency of 7.045 × 10^(-5) Hz,and use a model to fit *** find that the QPO signal mainly comes from the X-ray hot corona.

With advancements in mobile communication technologies, there have been multiple user device(UD) connections to cellular networks. Because of changes in the spatial distribution of UDs and application requirements, the traditional offloading mechanism based on the nearest distance will result in heavy loads for some base stations(BSs). Because there is a high-order relationship between the energy consumption of the BS processing tasks and the number of computing tasks, the traditional offloading mechanism will result in high energy consumption, and UD’s offloading decision must be dynamically adjusted. The offloading decision of UDs is optimized based on detailed information about various parameters associated with a network from the standpoint of distribution. This information includes details regarding the spatial distribution of UDs,application requirements, and the offloading period of computing tasks. Based on optimal transport theory,an energy consumption optimization algorithm is suggested to lower the total amount of energy consumed by the offloading process of UDs’ computing tasks by reasonably planning the offloading BSs of the UDs in the networks. The simulation results show that the proposed offloading mechanism based on energy consumption optimization reduces the total energy consumption of the offloading process by 28.09% when compared to the traditional offloading mechanism, and the traffic managed by each BS is balanced.

BACKGROUND Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest(OHCA)is a leading cause of death *** To explore factors influencing prehospital return of spontaneous circulation(P-ROSC)in patients with OHCA and develop a nomogram prediction *** Clinical data of patients with OHCA in Shenzhen,China,from January 2012 to December 2019 were retrospectively *** absolute shrinkage and selection operator(LASSO)regression and multivariate logistic regression were applied to select the optimal factors predicting P-ROSC in patients with OHCA.A nomogram prediction model was established based on these influencing *** and calibration were assessed using receiver operating charac-teristic(ROC)and calibration *** curve analysis(DCA)was used to evaluate the model’s clinical *** Among the included 2685 patients with OHCA,the P-ROSC incidence was 5.8%.LASSO and multivariate logistic regression analyses showed that age,bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR),initial rhythm,CPR duration,ventilation mode,and pathogenesis were independent factors influencing P-ROSC in these *** area under the ROC was *** calibration plot demonstrated that the predicted P-ROSC model was concordant with the actual *** good clinical usability of the prediction model was confirmed using *** The nomogram prediction model could effectively predict the probability of P-ROSC in patients with OHCA.

Impact wear properties of dissimilar joints between bainitic frogs and pearlite rails

The impact wear behavior and damage mechanism of dissimilar welded joints between U26Mn frog and U75 V rail before and after normalizing treatment were studied by cyclic impact *** experiment indicated that the impact wear volume of the joints increased with the increasing number of impact *** main wear mechanisms include pitting wear,mild fatigue wear,delamination wear,and fatigue wear,and plastic deformation was the primary impact wear *** them,fatigue wear had the greatest influence on wear volume,while other wear mechanisms had limited *** impact wear resistance of the base material was better than that of the heat-affected *** treatment was beneficial to improving the impact wear resistance of welded joints owing to its effect to promote pearlite recovery,grain refinement,and uniform distribution of *** martensite generated in the rail welded joints aggravated the impact wear damage to the materials,which should be avoided.
