Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a Zinc(II) Complex Salt with the Schiff Base of Picolinaldehyde N-oxide and Semicarbazone

The title zinc（Ⅱ） complex salt [Zn（H2O）6]（ClO4）2-（PNOS）4, where PNOS is derived from picolinaldehyde N-oxide with semicarbazone, has been prepared and structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal analysis. It crystallizes in triclinic, space group PI with a = 7.529（3）, b = 10.206（4）, c = 14.678（6）A, a = 86.293（6）, β= 87.686（7）, γ= 81.382（6）°, C28H44Cl2N16O22Zn, Mr = 1093.06, V = 1112.3（8） ,A^3 Z = 1, Dc = 1.632 g/cm^3, S = 1.089, μ（MoKa） = 0.773 mm^-1, F（000） = 564, the final R = 0.0438 and wR = 0.1076 for 3888 independent reflections with Rint = 0.0224. The crystal structure possesses a [Zn（H2O）6]^2＋ cation, two ClO4^- anions and four PNOSs. In the crystal structure, Zn^2＋ cation is located at the symcenter and coordinated by six water molecules. In [Zn（H2O）6]^2＋, an elongate octahedral complex cation, the average Zn-O bond length is 2.087（2） A. There exist a lot of H bonds in the structure, linking the cation [Zn（H2O）6]^2＋, anion ClO4^- and PNOS to form a 3D network.

A kind of n-type HoF_3-doped zinc oxide-based transparent conductive film has been developed by electron beam evaporation and studied under thermal annealing in air and vacuum at temperatures 100–500℃.Effective substitutional dopings of F to O and Ho to Zn are realized for the films with smooth surface morphology and average grain size of about 50 *** hall mobility,electron concentration,resistivity and work function for the asdeposited films are 47.89 cm^2/Vs,1.39×10^(20)cm^(-3),9.37×10^(-4)Ω·cm and 5.069 eV,*** addition,the average transmittance in the visible region(400–700 nm)approximates to 87%.The HoF_3:ZnO films annealed in air and vacuum can retain good optoelectronic properties under 300℃,thereinto,more stable electrical properties can be found in the air-annealed films than in the vacuum-annealed films,which is assumed to be a result of improved nano-crystalline lattice *** optimized films for most parameters can be obtained at 200℃ for the air-annealing case and at room temperature for the vacuum annealing *** advisable optoelectronic properties imply that HoF_3:ZnO can facilitate carrier injection and has promising applications in energy and light sources as transparent electrodes.

Microstructure,texture,and mechanical properties of the extruded Mg-2.49Nd-1.82Gd-0.2Zn-0.2Zr alloy were investigated at different extrusion temperatures(260 and 320℃),extrusion ratios(10:1,15:1,and 30:1),and extrusion speeds(3 and 6 mm/s).The experimental results exhibited that the grain sizes after extrusion were much finer than that of the homogenized alloy,and the second phase showed streamline distribution along the extrusion direction(ED).With extrusion temperature increased from 260 to 320℃,the microstructure,texture,and mechanical properties of alloys changed *** dynamic recrystallization(DRX)degree and grain sizes enhanced as the extrusion ratio increased from 10:1 to 30:1,and the strength gradually decreased but elongation(EL)*** the extrusion speed increased from 3 to 6 mm/s,the grain sizes and DRX degree increased significantly,and the samples presented the typical-rare-earth(RE)*** alloy extruded at 260℃ with extrusion ratio of 10:1 and extrusion speed of 3 mm/s showed the tensile yield strength(TYS)of 213 MPa and EL of 30.6%.After quantitatively analyzing the contribution of strengthening mechanisms,it was found that the grain boundary strengthening and dislocation strengthening played major roles among strengthening *** results provide some guidelines for enlarging the industrial application of extruded Mg-RE alloy.

A novel elastic metamaterial is proposed with the aim of achieving lowfrequency broad bandgaps and bandgap regulation. The band structure of the proposed metamaterial is calculated based on the Floquet-Bloch theorem, and the boundary modes of each bandgap are analyzed to understand the effects of each component of the unit cell on the bandgap formation. It is found that the metamaterials with a low elastic modulus of ligaments can generate flexural wave bandgaps below 300 Hz. Multi-frequency vibrations can be suppressed through the selective manipulation of bandgaps. The dual-graded design of metamaterials that can significantly improve the bandgap width is proposed based on parametric studies. A new way that can regulate the bandgap is revealed by studying the graded elastic modulus in the substrate. The results demonstrate that the nonlinear gradient of the elastic modulus in the substrate offers better bandgap performance. Based on these analyses, the proposed elastic metamaterials can pave the way for multi-frequency vibration control, low-frequency bandgap broadening, and bandgap tuning.

This study uses event-triggered(ET) and reinforcement learning methods to investigate the optimal consensus control problem for cooperative-competitive multiagent systems. It proposes a novel distributed ET control strategy, which relies on a prioritized experience replay(PER) policy. This strategy not only conserves communication resources but also ensures acceptable system performance. To implement the proposed method, actor-critic(AC) dual-structured neural networks(NNs) are used to approximate the value function and control policy. In the AC NNs, the weight estimates for the NNs are updated at the moment of event triggering, resulting in a nonperiodic weight adjustment pattern. This approach decreases the computational cost in comparison with the traditional ET mechanism. The PER-based ET mechanism makes full use of valid historical data and effectively establishes a balance between system performance and communication resource ***, it does not require the following two conditions in most existing studies:(1) requirement of the system dynamics model to be known, and(2) persistent excitation. In addition, Zeno behavior is excluded from this study. Finally, a simulation is conducted to confirm the validity of the suggested approach.

The microstructural evolution of a cold-rolled and intercritical annealed medium-Mn steel(Fe-0.10C-5Mn)was investigated during uniaxial tensile ***-situ observations under scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray diffraction analysis were conducted to characterize the progressive transformation-induced plasticity process and associated fracture initiation *** findings were discussed with the local strain measurements via digital image *** results indicated that Lüders band formation in the steel was limited to 1.5%strain,which was mainly due to the early-stage martensitic phase transformation of a very small amount of the less stable large-sized retained austenite(RA),which led to localized stress concentrations and strain hardening and further retardation of *** small-sized RA exhibited high stability and progressively transformed into martensite and contributed to a stably extended Portevin-Le Chatelier *** volume fraction of RA gradually decreased from 26.8%to 8.2%prior to *** the late deformation stage,fracture initiation primarily occurred at the austenite/martensite and ferrite/martensite interfaces and the ferrite phase.

The tolerance of rice to drought and saline stress is crucial for maintaining yields and promoting widespread *** an ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS)-mutagenized mutant library,we identified a mutant that is susceptible to osmotic stress,named Osmotic Stress Sensitivity 1(Oss1).Using MutMap sequencing,we characterized the role of a choline transporter-related family gene,CTR4(Choline Transporter-Related 4),in rice’s tolerance to drought and salt ***4 plays a critical role in regulating membrane lipid *** knockout mutants,the total membrane lipid content,especially unsaturated fatty acids,was significantly *** with the wild type,knockout mutants exhibited decreased membrane lipid stability under drought and salt stress,faster water loss,higher relative electrolyte leakage,and lower levels of proline and soluble sugars,leading to impaired tolerance to drought and salt *** contrast,the overexpression of CTR4 enhanced seedling tolerance to drought and saline *** overexpression lines displayed lower malondialdehyde levels,reduced relative electrolyte leakage,and slower rates of leaf water loss under stress conditions,thereby improving seedling survival rates during ***,lipid synthesis gene expression was down-regulated in CTR4 mutants,potentially exacerbating membrane permeability defects and further compromising stress *** findings suggest that CTR4 mediates choline transport and influences cell membrane formation,thereby enhancing rice defenses against drought and salt stress by maintaining lipid homeostasis.
