Association between HLA-B*46:01 and cutaneous adverse drug reactions in Han Chinese

The majority of patients who experience cutaneous adverse drug reactions(cADRs)concurrently receive multiple medications,meaning that the causative drug remains *** explored the association between human leukocyte antigen(HLA)alleles and cADRs,regardless of the allergenic drug,to investigate whether different drug-induced cADRs were associated with the same or similar risk alleles in a Han Chinese *** genotyped a sample of 146 cADR patients and 230 population controls from the same hospital and systematically analyzed the association between HLA Class I genes and *** carrier frequency of HLAB∗46:01 in cADR patients was found to be significantly higher than that in population controls(P=.0021,odds ratio[OR]=2.18,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.33-2.58).Subgroup analysis showed that HLA-B∗46:01 was significantly associated with urticaria and erythema multiforme(P=.0077,OR=2.53,95%CI:1.30-4.91;and P=.0049,OR=2.77,95%CI:1.39-5.50,respectively).Furthermore,a significant association was also detected between HLA-A∗02:01 and erythema multiforme(P=.0038,OR=2.65,95%CI:1.31-5.33).This study is the first to demonstrate that HLA-B∗46:01 is a risk allele for cADRs in a Han Chinese population,indicating that screening for HLA-B∗46:01 prior to the administration of medication may predict the risk of developing cADRs.

Pemphigus vulgaris(PV)is a life-threatening autoimmune bullous disease that causes blisters and erosions on the skin and mucous membranes to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of PV,Chinese experts in this field were invited to make recommendations which are presented in this *** vulgaris can be divided into cutaneous mucous type,cutaneous type and mucous mucous dominant type according to the different clinical *** pathological manifestations of PV are acantholysis above the basal *** diagnosis of PV and the assessment of the severity of the disease are made in accordance with the clinical manifestations,histopathological features,immunofluorescence assay results,and detection of pathogenic serum *** first-line treatment of PV comprises systemic *** combination with immunosuppressive agents or rituximab is recommended for moderate and severe *** immunoglobulin administration is recommended for patients being treated with *** exchange and stem cell transplantation can be performed if *** the course of therapy,the disease activity should be closely monitored,and actions should be taken to prevent adverse reactions.

A single-mode laser with coupling between additive and multiplicative noise terms is investigated when the multiplicative noise and the coupling between two noise terms are colored fluctuations with finite correlation times T1 and T2. Combining the unified colored noise approximation （UCNA） and the functional analysis, the stationary probability distribution （SPD） and the variance of the laser intensity is derived. It is found that the colored nature of multiplicative noise and the coupling strength between two noise terms can affect both the structure and the height of the SPD, while the colored nature of the coupling between two noise terms can only affect the height of the SPD. The multiplicative noise can enhance the intensity fluctuations while the additive noise can reduce the fluctuations in a laser system. Numerical simulations are presented and consistent to the analytical results.

Over the past decade the integration of ultrafast spectroscopy with nanoscience has greatly propelled the development of nanoscience, as the key information gleaned from the mechanistic studies with the assistance of ultrafast spectroscopy enables a deeper understanding of the structure–function interplay and various interactions involved in the *** mini-review presents an overview of the recent advances achieved in our ultrafast spectroscopy laboratory that address the ultrafast dynamics and related mechanisms in several representative nanomaterial complex systems by means of femtosecond time-resolved transient absorption spectroscopy. We attempt to convey instructive, consistent information regarding the important processes, pathways, dynamics, and interactions involved in the nanomaterial complex systems,most of which exhibit excellent performance in photocatalysis.

In this paper, we propose a new model of weighted small-world biological neural networks based on biophysical Hodgkin-Huxley neurons with side-restrain mechanism. Then we study excitement properties of the model under alternating current （AC） stimulation. The study shows that the excitement properties in the networks are preferably consistent with the behavior properties of a brain nervous system under different AC stimuli, such as refractory period and the brain neural excitement response induced by different intensities of noise and coupling. The results of the study have reference worthiness for the brain nerve electrophysiology and epistemological science.

Al-V-B master alloy is promising for refining Al-Si alloys,yet its optimal composition with superior efficacy remains to be *** this work,the evolution of refining phases in the Al-10 Si/Al-V-B system with different V:B ratios was evaluated by thermodynamic calculations,based on which the Al-V-B refiners with V:B=1:1 and 5:1 were *** trails demonstrated that they could significantly reduce the grain size of Al-10 Si(wt.%)alloy from 1736 to 184-245μm with industrial addition *** examinations results clarify that when V:B ratio is 1:1 the nucleation particle is(V,Al)B_(2),which has a VB_(2)-AlB_(2) core-shell structure and therefore presents the nucleation capability as AlB_(2) *** V:B ratio is as high as 5:1,the nucleation particle is pure VB_(2).Density functional theory(DFT)calculation indicates that(0001)VB_(2)/(111)α-Al interface has the lowest interfacial energy such that highest nucleation potency among other types of diboride/α-Al interfaces under *** outcomes of this work provide fundamental guidance to develop superior V-B based refiners for Al-Si alloys.

Generalized Synchronization of Phase Differences in Three Lasers

A linear array of three identical lasers that are coupled mutually in space is investigated theoretically by integration of the laser equations. It is shown that the generalized synchronization of phase differences in the laser fields appears with intermediate coupling when the laser intensities are totally chaotic and chaotically synchronized. Both intensities and phase differences are totally chaotic at smaller coupling constants. The lasers are also changed from coherent light to incoherent one when the couplings between lasers are decreased.

The Al-Si-V system is assessed to understand the phase equilibria of V-containing（3 d transition metal）Al-Si alloys, which are generally of great importance for technical applications. Four annealed alloys were prepared to study the phase equilibria of Al-rich corner（V ≤ 23.3 at.%, Si ≤ 57.6 at.%） in the temperature range of 500-930 ℃. The microstructure and phase constituents of the samples were determined by X-ray diffraction（XRD） and scanning electron microscopy（SEM） equipped with energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer（EDS）, The existence of ternary phase τ（Al（0.6） Si（1.4） V, TiSi2-type） was confirmed with the composition ranging from 17.98 to 18.59 at.% Al and 48.89-49.20 at.% Si. However, it did not equilibrate with fcc（Al） below 868℃, which was determined by differential scanning calorimetry（DSC）. The Si3 V5 appeared in Al58 5 Si（18.3） V（23.2） and Al64 7 Si（20.2） V（15.1） alloys annealed at 500 ℃. It nearly disappeared after3000 h-annealing and its thermodynamic stability was discussed. According to the measured phase relationships, the thermodynamic description of Al-Si-V system was optimized combing with the enthalpies of formation of binary and ternary compounds obtained by density functional theory（DFT）. The Si-V system was modified to obtain the congruent liquidus of Si3 V5 and enthalpy of formation of Si3 V5 and Si2 V with experimental data. By comparing the calculated phase equilibria and phase transitions with experimental data, it showed that a good agreement was reached. The description of Al-Si-V system could be used to guide the development of Al-Si alloys.
