Background:Dengue was regarded as a mild epidemic in China's Mainland transmitted by Aedes ***,the 2014 record-breaking outbreak in Guangzhou could change the *** order to provide an early warning of epidemic trends and provide evidence for prevention and control strategies,we seek to characterize the 2014 outbreak through application of detailed cases and entomological data,as well as phylogenetic analysis of viral envelope(E)***:We used case survey data identified through the Notifiable Infectious Disease Report System,entomological surveillance and population serosurvey,along with laboratory testing for IgM/IgG,NS1,and isolation of viral samples followed by E gene sequencing and phylogenetic analysis to examine the epidemiological and molecular characteristics of the ***:The 2014 dengue outbreak in Guangzhou accounted for nearly 80%of total reported cases that year in China's Mainland;a total of 37,376 cases including 37,340 indigenous cases with incidence rate 2908.3 per million and 36 imported cases were reported in Guangzhou,with 14,055 hospitalized and 5 *** epidemic lasted for 193 days from June 11 to December 21,with the highest incidence observed in domestic workers,the unemployed and *** inapparent infection rate was 18.00%(135/750).In total,96 dengue virus 1(DENV-1)and 11 dengue virus 2(DENV-2)strains were *** analysis indicated that the DENV-1 strains were divided into genotype I and V,similar to the strains isolated in Guangzhou and Dongguan in *** DENV-2 strains isolated were similar to those imported from Thailand on May 11 in 2014 and that imported from Indonesia in ***:The 2014 dengue epidemic was confirmed to be the first co-circulation of DENV-1 and DENV-2 in *** DENV-1 strain was endemic,while the DENV-2 strain was imported,being efficiently transmitted by the Aedes albopictus vector species at levels as high as Aedes aegypti.

Regional aridity is increasing under global climate change,and therefore the sustainable use of water resources has drawn attention from scientists and the ***-use changes can have a significant impact on groundwater recharge in arid regions,and quantitative assessment of the impact is key to sustainable groundwater resources *** this study,the changes of groundwater recharge after the conversion of natural lands to croplands were investigated and compared in inland and arid region,i.e.,the northern slope of the Tianshan *** isotopes suggest that soil water in topsoil(<2 m)has experienced stronger evaporation under natural lands than croplands,and then moves downward as a piston *** was estimated by the tracer-based mass balance method,i.e.,chloride and *** rates under natural conditions estimated by the chloride mass balance(CMB)method were estimated to be 0.07 mm/a in deserts and 0.4 mm/a in *** contrast,the estimated groundwater recharge ranged from 61.2 mm/a to 44.8 mm/a in croplands,indicating that groundwater recharge would increase significantly after land changes from natural lands to irrigated croplands in arid *** estimated by the sulfate mass balance method is consistent with that from the CMB method,indicating that sulfate is also a good tracer capable of estimating groundwater recharge.

We rethink the segment anything model(SAM) and propose a novel multiprompt network called COMPrompter for camouflaged object detection(COD). SAM has zero-shot generalization ability beyond other models and can provide an ideal framework for COD. Our network aims to enhance the single prompt strategy in SAM to a multiprompt strategy. To achieve this, we propose an edge gradient extraction module, which generates a mask containing gradient information regarding the boundaries of camouflaged objects. This gradient mask is then used as a novel boundary prompt, enhancing the segmentation process. Thereafter, we design a box-boundary mutual guidance module, which fosters more precise and comprehensive feature extraction via mutual guidance between a boundary prompt and a box prompt. This collaboration enhances the model's ability to accurately detect camouflaged objects. Moreover, we employ the discrete wavelet transform to extract high-frequency features from image embeddings. The high-frequency features serve as a supplementary component to the multiprompt ***, our COMPrompter guides the network to achieve enhanced segmentation results, thereby advancing the development of SAM in terms of COD. Experimental results across COD benchmarks demonstrate that COMPrompter achieves a cutting-edge performance, surpassing the current leading model by an average positive metric of 2.2% in COD10K. In the specific application of COD, the experimental results in polyp segmentation show that our model is superior to top-tier methods as well. Auroral Kilometric Radiation (AKR) is a common radio emission,which can contribute to the magnetosphere-ionosphereatmosphere co u *** emissions have been observed in all magnetic planet magnetospheres of the solar *** this study,using observations from the FAST satellite from 30 August 1996 to 9 September 2001,the distribution of AKR in altitude=500-4500 km and invariant latitude (|ILAT|)=60°-80°has been analyzed.63045 AKR samples have been identified with~48%(52%) samples on the dayside (nightside).Of considerable interest,there is a distinct MLT asymmetry with the high occurrence rate in MLT=05-08 and 18-22(02-05 and 12-17) in the northern (southern) *** distinct MLT asymmetry is associated with the direction of Bxof the interplaneta ry magnetic *** addition,the occurrence rate on the nightside clearly increases as the AE^(*) index *** study further enriches the information and understanding of AKR in the magnetosphere as well as other similar radio emissions.

Background:It is not completely clear whether a very high pre-therapy viral load(≥500000 copies/ml)can impair the virological *** aim of this study was to examine the influence of very high baseline HIV-RNA levels on long-term virological responses under one type of ***:A retrospective study was performed based on data from two multicenter cohorts in China from January to November 2009,and from May 2013 to December *** HIV infected adults between 18 and 65 years old were recruited before receiving non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor-based *** patients had baseline HIV-RNA levels over 500 copies/ml,good adherence,and were followed for at least 24 *** suppression was defined as the first HIV-RNA<50 copies/*** failure was defined as any of incomplete viral suppression(HIV-RNA≥200 copies/ml without virological suppression within 24 weeks of treatment)and viral rebound(confirmed HIV-RNA level≥50 copies/ml after virological suppression).Chi-square test,Kaplan–Meier analysis,Cox proportional hazards model and Logistic regression were used to compare virological response between each pretreated viral load ***:A total of 758 treatment-naïve HIV patients in China were *** follow-up time(IQR)was 144(108–276)*** week 48,rates of virological suppression in three groups(<100000,100000–500000 and≥500000 copies/ml)were 94.1,85.0,and 63.8%,respectively(P<0.001).Very high baseline HIV viremia over 500000 copies/ml were found to be associated with delayed virological suppression(≥500000 vs<100000,adjusted relative hazard=0.455,95%CI:0.32–0.65;P<0.001)as well as incomplete viral suppression(≥500000 vs<100000,adjusted odds ratio[aOR]=6.084,95%CI:2.761–13.407;P<0.001)and viral rebound(≥50000 vs<100000,aOR=3.671,95%CI:1.009–13.355,P=0.048).Conclusions:Very high levels of pre-treatment HIV-RNA were related with delayed efficacy of NNRTI-based ART and increased risk of treatment failure.

Non-Hermitian dynamics exhibits a wealth of surprising and potentially useful phenomena. However, it is typically realized by coupling a system with thermal reservoirs, which makes the system suffer from thermal fluctuations associated with the dissipation. Here, we propose a dissipation-free approach to realize non-Hermitian dynamics using a superconducting circuit composed of two resonators and a superconducting qutrit. The non-Hermiticity arises in the dynamical matrix for the evolution of the two resonators in the Heisenberg picture, via a photon-number non-conserved dynamics. The energy spectrum of the non-Hermitian dynamical matrix can be retrieved by measuring the state of the two resonators, and a phase transition of the energy spectrum can be observed by varying the control parameters. In the realization of the non-Hermitian dynamics, the dissipation of the system and the post-selection are not required. Thus, the approach is implemented in a deterministic way, and the reservoir-induced noise is suppressed. Numerical simulations indicate that the energy spectrum of the non-Hermitian dynamical matrix obtained via the measurement of the resonators is in accordance with the theoretical prediction. Moreover, we demonstrate the parity discrimination for the state of two four-level qudits as an application, exhibiting the potential of the non-Hermitian dynamics in the field of quantum measurement. This work opens a new avenue for the realization of non-Hermitian dynamics and may have a significant implication in exploring the non-Hermitian phenomena.

Catalyst–support interaction plays a crucial role in improving the catalytic activity of oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Here we modulate the catalyst–support interaction in polyaniline-supported Ni_(3)Fe oxide(Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI)with a robust hetero-interface,which significantly improves oxygen evolution activities with an overpotential of 270 mV at 10 mA cm^(-2)and specific activity of 2.08 mA cm_(ECSA)^(-2)at overpotential of 300 mV,3.84-fold that of Ni_(3)Fe *** is revealed that the catalyst–support interaction between Ni_(3)Fe oxide and PANI support enhances the Ni–O covalency via the interfacial Ni–N bond,thus promoting the charge and mass transfer on Ni_(3)Fe *** the excellent activity and stability,rechargeable Zn-air batteries with optimum Ni_(3)Fe oxide/PANI are assembled,delivering a low charge voltage of 1.95 V to cycle for 400 h at 10 mA cm^(-2).The regulation of the effect of catalyst–support interaction on catalytic activity provides new possibilities for the future design of highly efficient OER catalysts.
