Although implantation of biomaterials carrying mesenchymal stem cells(MSCs)is considered as a promising strategy for ameliorating neural function after spinal cord injury(SCI),there are still some challenges including poor cell survival rate,tumorigenicity and ethics *** performance of the secretome derived from MSCs was more stable,and its clinical transformation was more *** antibody array demonstrated that the secretome of MSCs contained 79 proteins among the 174 proteins ***-dimensional(3D)printed collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds carrying MSCs secretome improved hindlimb locomotor function according to the Basso–Beattie–Bresnahan scores,the inclined-grid climbing test and electrophysiological *** with locomotor function recovery,3D printed collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds carrying MSCs secretome could further facilitate nerve fiber regeneration,enhance remyelination and accelerate the establishment of synaptic connections at the injury site compared to 3D printed collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds alone group according to magnetic resonance imaging,diffusion tensor imaging,hematoxylin and eosin staining,Bielschowsky’s silver staining,immunofluorescence staining and transmission electron *** results indicated the implantation of 3D printed collagen/silk fibroin scaffolds carrying MSCs secretome might be a potential treatment for SCI.

Thermal expansion is a common phenomenon in both metals and alloys, which is important for metallic material applications in modern industry, especially in nuclear and aerospace industries. A lower thermal expansion coefficient may cause lower thermal stress and higher accuracy. A new Zr-based alloy is developed and *** XRD diffraction results demonstrate that only a close-packed hexagonal phase（α or α＇ phase） exists in the microstructure. The thermal expansion and mechanical properties are studied. According to the experimental results, the new Zr-based alloy presents a low thermal expansion coefficient and good mechanical ***,its thermal expansion coefficient is stable through solution treatment.

Indoor temperature is a critical environmental factor for piglets that affects the health,welfare,and production efficiency of domesticated ***,there are limited reports about wireless intelligent thermal control and management system for piglets in largescale pig farms,and evaluation energy *** paper presents an Automatic Thermal Control and Management System(ATCMS)of micro-environment for piglets,that could provide a suitable production environment and reduce the energy *** includes automatic temperature control system(ATCS),multipoint temperature management system(MTMS)and remote *** infrared heating lamps are chosen in the ATCS for their good performance in heating rate and heating *** order to meet a scientific temperature requirements of piglet growth,the suitable thermal ranges of each growth-stage(STREG)are employed as intelligent control strategies to generate an automatic and precise heating *** is responsible for communicating with ATCSs and transmitting information to database server for record based on wireless *** access offers information services for remote administrators by smart phones and clients via *** experiments of ATCMS were carried out both in winter and summer at Binsheng Breeding Piggery Farm,Acheng City,Heilongjiang Province,*** showed that the temperature provided by ATCS had been kept in STREG of piglets during the whole winter *** the indoor temperature during summer period were in or above STREG,heating lamps were turned off by ATCS for a long *** energy consumption of ATCS were 63.60%in winter and 39.35%in summer with continuous heating system ***,ATCMS could take the suitable thermal ranges of each growth-stage as an intelligent control principle to give an automatic and precise control to heating devices in order to meet a scientific temperature requirements of piglet growth.

Rescuing cells from stress damage emerges a potential therapeutic strategy to combat myocardial *** aldehyde(PCA)is a major phenolic acid in Chinese herb Danshen(Salvia miltiorrhiza root).This study investigated whether PCA regulated nuclear pyruvate kinase isoform M2(PKM2)function to protect *** rats subjected to isoprenaline,PCA attenuated heart injury and protected cardiomyocytes from *** DARTS and CETSA assays,we identified that PCA bound and promoted PKM2 nuclear translocation in cardiomyocytes exposed to oxygen/glucose deprivation(OGD).In the nucleus,PCA increased the binding of PKM2 to β-Catenin via preserving PKM2 acetylation,and the complex,in cooperation with T-cell factor 4(TCF4),was required for transcriptional induction of genes encoding anti-apoptotic proteins,contributing to rescuing cardiomyocyte *** addition,PCA ameliorated mitochondrial dysfunction and prevented mitochondrial apoptosis dependent on ***,PCA increased the binding of PKM2 to β-Catenin,improved heart contractive function,normalized heart structure and attenuated oxidative damage in mice subjected to artery ligation,but the protective effects were lost in Pkm2-deficient ***,we showed that PCA regulated nuclear PKM2 function to rescue cardiomyocyte survival via β-Catenin/TCF4 signaling cascade,suggesting the potential of pharmacological intervention of PKM2 shuttle to protect the heart.

Factors associated with complete and durable remissions after anti-CD19 chimeric antigen receptor T(CAR-T)cell immunotherapy for relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma(r/r NHL)have not been well *** this study,we found that the different sites of extranodal involvement may affect response,overall survival(OS),and progression-free survival(PFS)in patients with r/r NHL treated with anti-CD19 CAR-T *** a cohort of 32 treated patients,12(37.5%)and 8(25%)patients exhibited soft tissue lymphoma and bone marrow(BM)infiltrations,respectively,and 13(41%)patients exhibited infiltration at other *** factors that may affect prognosis were identified through multivariable *** an independent risk factor,soft tissue infiltration was the only factor significantly correlated with adverse prognosis(P<0.05),whereas other factors did not reach statistical ***,the site of extranodal tumor infiltration significantly and negatively affected OS and PFS in patients with r/r NHL treated with anti-CD19 CAR-T cell *** and OS in patients with BM involvement were not significantly different from those of patients with lymph node involvement ***,anti-CD19 CAR-T cell therapy may improve the prognosis of patients with BM infiltration.

Angiogenesis,the formation of new blood vessels,is a complex and dynamic process regulated by various pro-and anti-angiogenic molecules,which plays a crucial role in tumor growth,invasion,and *** the advances in molecular and cellular biology,various biomolecules such as growth factors,chemokines,and adhesion factors involved in tumor angiogenesis has gradually been *** therapeutic research based on these molecules has driven anti-angiogenic treatment to become a promising strategy in anti-tumor *** most widely used anti-angiogenic agents include monoclonal antibodies and tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)targeting vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)***,the clinical benefit of this modality has still been limited due to several defects such as adverse events,acquired drug resistance,tumor recurrence,and lack of validated biomarkers,which impel further research on mechanisms of tumor angiogenesis,the development of multiple drugs and the combination therapy to figure out how to improve the therapeutic ***,we broadly summarize various signaling pathways in tumor angiogenesis and discuss the development and current challenges of anti-angiogenic *** also propose several new promising approaches to improve anti-angiogenic efficacy and provide a perspective for the development and research of anti-angiogenic therapy.

Nuciferine contained in lotus leaves have been confirmed to have the effect of ameliorating hyperlipemia and hyperglycemia.A laser scanning confocal microscope was used to track the translocation of glucose transporter 4(GLUT4)in L6 cells and the changes in intracellular Ca^(2+)levels in real time,and related protease inhibitors combined with western blotting were used to explore the mechanism of ***,KK-Ay mice,the spontaneous type 2 diabetic mice,were used to evaluate the in vivo activity of *** this study,the in vitro studies indicated that nuciferine-induced GLUT4 translocation was regulated by G protein-PLC-PKC and AMPK pathways and nuciferine-enhanced intracellular Ca^(2+)was mediated by G protein-PLC-IP3-IP3R pathway,the increase in intracellular Ca^(2+)caused by nuciferine was not directly related to GLUT4 translocation,but both promote glucose *** in vivo results suggested that nuciferine ameliorated weight gain induced by high-fat diet,abnormal lipid metabolism and the symptoms of insulin resistance in KK-Ay diabetic *** blot results suggested that nuciferine increased AMPK and PKC phosphorylation levels in skeletal muscle and liver,and enhanced GLUT4 expression in skeletal *** together,this research showed that nuciferine has the non-negligible potential in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus.

To make clear the influence of abrasive hardness on the erosion effect,the erosion experiments of abrasive air jet with the same impact energy were carried *** influence of abrasive hardness on the erosion effect is clarified by comparing the different erosion *** main conclusions are as *** the same mass flow rate and mesh number,the abrasive with a higher density needs greater pressure irrespective of *** erosion damage,the abrasive size exhibits a Weibull *** shape parameterβand Weibull distribution function of four types of abrasives are derived by the least squares method;moreover,βis found to have a quadratic relation with abrasive *** results of the erosion experiments show that abrasive hardness and erosion depth are quadratically *** calculating the increase in surface energy after abrasive erosion crushing,it is found that abrasive hardness has a quadratic relation with surface energy and that the increases in erosion depth and surface energy consumption are basically *** conclusion,the effect is a soft abrasive impact when the ratio of abrasive hardness(Ha)to the material hardness(Hm)is3.
